  1. For the past few years I have mulched my yard with the bags of scotts naturescapes....I noticed the quality of the mulch has decreased and the price has increased....Anyway....i have noticed some homes with a real nice finely graded black mulch and I would like to know if anyone on the board knows of any places that offer this finely shredded mulch. I am located in Amherst...A couple places i found offer the double shredded but it is not as fine as the mulch I saw.... Any suggestions or experiences?

    Try Adams Nursery.

  2. When NFL network cut to the Bills war room, there was one table front and center. That table always had Nix and Gailey. Then the surrounding tables has some other coaches and scouts (i assume). But Modrak was not at the head table, and i don't remember seeing him in shots.

Last night on NFL Network they played a piece on Marcell Dareus where they briefly showed the Bills war room and Modrak was definitely at the head table next to Gailey (for the first pick at least).

  3. I think it is kind of crazy too...Hansen's best years came much later in his career, IMO, when the Super Bowl glory had already faded. Bennett, IMO, is really underrated. He did have some unsavory off the field issues, as I recall...that may be part of it. I think the WOF honors players who were big in the community, as well as on the field.

People in Buffalo don't seem as warm and fuzzy about Bennett, and he doesn't seem as warm and fuzzy about Buffalo. I know Hansen still does charity work in Buffalo, and is active as a Bills alumni. FWIW...

    Cornelius Bennett

    Atlanta Falcons

He was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Buffalo hotel room in 1997. Bennett pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of sex abuse and was sentenced to 60 days in jail. He served 36. In addition to the jail sentence, Bennett was fined $1,000 and was ordered to pay $617.26 of the woman's hospital bills, perform 100 hours of community service and undergo anger-management and substance-abuse counseling

  4. Just wondering if some one may be able to clear this one up for me ? I thought Martez Wilson was the top rated LB in this draft after Miller , why did we go Sheppard instead when Wilson was still on the board ?

Was it his leadership skills ? I didn't see him play & know very little about him but was just wondering about the pick , thought maybe some one could clarify .

    Thanks !! Go Bills !!!!!

I think the fact they coached him for the Senior Bowl was the biggest factor. All things being equal would you rather draft a player you spent a week working with and got to see in a practice setting or a player you maybe only met briefly once or twice?

  5. We've had 3 GMs, 4 HCs (not counting interims) trying the same losing strategy of ignoring the lines with our highest picks combined with an inability to scout them (especially DL) well. The common denominator --- Tom Modrak. I've never been a tar and pitchfork kind of person myself, but I think it's time for him to be shown the door.

Are you including the Nix/Gailey regime? If so I'd have to disagree, so far out of their 6 1st through 3rd round picks 4 have been front 7 players.

  6. After a really good day, day two of the draft for the Bills has been more of last years garbage. With Mallet still available in the 3rd round, how do you pass him up? Now when Brady retires we will get our butts kicked by Mallet for a decade plus. Buddy and Co. dropped the ball in day two of the draft. I had very little confidence in our front office going into yesterday, but the pick of Dareus was actually a good pick, but what they gained in my book yesterday, the lost today. I am convinced we will always be a also-ran in the NFL. What happened to Ralph saying they were going to get a franchise QB? Did Buddy give him a pill and send him to bed? So frustrating. Very tired of losing but it isn't going to end anytime soon.

Did you sit down with Mallett and hear straight from him what's the truth behind all the rumors? Did you have a team of personnel evaluators working for months turning over every stone trying to get to the bottom of this whole Mallett thing? Every single NFL team that was in the market for a QB this offseason did this and evidently they didn't like what they heard from Mallett, or what they found out about him, or maybe both.

  7. I watched that whole sequence twice...Here's how it went...

The Reporter (who I've never seen before on NFL Network and BELIEVE me when I tell you that means something because My TV is on NFL Network 90% of the time it is on and I NEVER, ever, ever, miss Total Access) said it looked like Miller could be gone, and IF so The Bills would be looking at Dareus and Peterson...

    His name is Ari Wolf.

Who the hell is Ari Wolf?

As seen above, in a Facebook posting, Hackett has contended that the woman seen getting beaten in the video was actually a male cross-dresser who got into a confrontation with female patrons when he refused to leave the women’s bathroom at the Baltimore eatery. Hackett claimed that the victim faked a seizure and, when cops arrived at the restaurant, “he got right up.

Hackett did not reply to TSG messages sent to his Twitter and Facebook pages, which he subsequently deleted late this morning. He also has deleted his YouTube channel.
