Oh yes, a Bills front office executive runs to a message board to spill the beans... OH BROTHER...
-
Big deal, they are targeted for making a lot of money so let them shell some out for protection. There are expenses associated with any job.
Seems like the NFL should counsel these guys more about when they leave where they came from and the risks associated with where they are now. Right now, it seems like the NFL doesn't step in until it's too late or just to hand punishment. I know the NFL does one rookie symposium.

Hiring body guards is a much smarter decision, JMO.
Hiring body guards is also a lot of money. The truth is, even players that come from bad neighborhoods need to learn and accept that once you become successful you just can't do the things you used to. Sure, it's a nice thought, but people are always ready to attack one another.
-
Good thing we have people like you and Die Hard all over this, 100x and more...
-
Since when is it stupid to carry a handgun? It's actually pretty smart, assuming you have all the permits.
Especially around Oakland
Maybe I should delete and save the board from such nonsense!Maybe you should

I am not really sure, but I think it was suppose to be dumb.
Just a hunch I have
I spent hours thinking about it!
Then allow me to rephrase, it was dumber than dumb. It was pathetic. It wasn't in the slightest bit funny. And in no way does it correlate with the type of dumb humor seen in major films that actually are funny. Oh no! Marshawn Lynch is carrying a gun, let's all FREAK OUT! And is it that much of a shock? Geez, give me a break.

That Plaxico Burress video is really dumb. Not funny, very immature, and lackadaisical. I hope this helps!

Here's a screenshot of the Temple wall hieroglyphics. Not much to be gleaned there.
So what's behind that wall?
-
I like Favre, but ESPN's coverage of his comeback last year was like the O.J. thing on tv in 93?
-
Did anyone notice the wall of hieroglyphics by the hole the smoke monster went into? Did those match up with the ones from The Swan countdown clock?
Next week's episode looks to be even better. I imagine Eloise will give us the lowdown on some of the islands secrets.
BTW, I'm watching season 1 over with my girlfriend, I caught a really good note, remember the Claire episode when they discovered who Ethan was? In Claire's first vision or nightmare, she sees Locke at a desk by a tree and he says "You shouldn't have given him away, now the others have to pay the price."

I think you guys are debating over the best analogy more than anything. Sometimes it's best to go with the apples and oranges.

Mike Goff.... WOO HOO!

Just heard this on Fox Sports on the radio. Not too shocking anymore. But I'm getting tired of hearing the aurgument that steriods don't help you hit the baseball, so whats the big deal? If they help your muscles recover faster and add another 20 - 40 feet to the flight of the ball then it is a big deal.
What's the big deal if everyone is doing them in pro sports? Makes for a more even playing ground.
-
No, they didn't.
So in Season 1, when Jack or Michael went to meet the others, there were no whispers?
-
Soo did they do it? It said he "believed he was having sex" with the teenage girl.
-
Decent episode, nothing spectacular. It served to advance the plot line, but no real crazy unexpected stuff, and no real big answers. One thought i did have, or rather my girl had, was that perhaps the whispers the lostaways were hearing on the island during seasons 1 and 2 actually the time travelers. Sawyer saw kate and claire last night, and the rest of the group was close by, so perhaps their voices were the "whispers."
I dunno, the others always showed up with the whispers, remember?

For those of you who are Lost dorks such as myself, lookie lookie here (it's a hatch working countdown clock that you can put on your desktop):
Real sound effects and all!

Tonight's episode is called "The Little Prince". I think it's going to be about Aaron.

Odds are, if you, your car, or your beer gets pissed on, you deserved it. That's all I'm saying.
-
Dean, what are YOU talking about? That makes absolutely no sense and is completely irrelevant. I'm so confused!!!!
-
Perhaps you should have included syntax with your resolution.
That makes zero sense.

When Desmond stormed into Widmore's office did you all see the painting that had the polar bear in it?
I was so happy to see Des and Penny have a baby! I felt like a girl!

I don't think Whisenhunt blew the game, he's a great coach and he did the best he could. Their defense allowed more big plays than Pittsburgh's defense. Going in, I thought the only way Arizona could win is by letting it all out from start to finish. Everyone expected the Steelers to just play defense and run the ball on offense, but the Steelers can play hard ball or fast ball.

I assume you're referring to the tangential opening to the yearly NFL awards featured in Episode 4?
How can you have a question in what I'm referring to?

I don't know if many of you caught Joe DeLamielleure on HBO's Real Sports last week, but we had him our show Bills Fan Radio last week as well. My favorite quote he said: “I blame Gene Upshaw that this issue has taken so long to be brought to headlines. I don’t know anyone but who’s been employed by him and the union that says a good word about him. When the owners come out and say Gene was a great union leader, that doesn’t make sense. We had an adversary not an advocate for the former players. I hope one day (Roger) Goodell wakes up and goes to the union and says ‘take care of these guys’. He’s a good guy but I think his hands are tied until a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is in place. And if you think about it, the players are about to strike for more money. I just laugh at that.” Cool guy, benched presses 225 almost 30 times at the age of 60.
