What did Dr. Candle say when he was processing Jack? "They drug me from the laboratory today"... I cracked up! I thought we'd see more of him but now I'm thinking we'll see him every episode.
Every week after an episode a new set of questions arise for me. What were those empty barracks Christian was living in? I think Sun and Ben are in a different time period (possibly future?) and I thought the barracks were burned? Christian told Sun she had a "journey" ahead of her. Does that mean she has "work to do"?
Also, I'm not sure if Jughead is linked to the infamous "incident" because I thought they said in the season 2 finale it was a "leak" that caused the incident, like a leak of electromagnetism?
And finally, I think someone here theorized that Kate could possibly be pregnant, after the night she was crying on Jack's bed, how big of a twist would it be if she got pregnant BECAUSE Ben told her she had to??

For all you Cutlerites, I hope Edwards breaks out this year and throws 30 TDs, goes to the Pro Bowl, and refuses to autograph anything for your children!

As a follow-up to one of my earlier posts, I don't think it's too much of a spoiler to now be saying that the opening scene in this season's premiere (with Faraday appearing at the Dharma construction of the Orchid) will be extrapolated before the season finale. Perhaps as early as this ep.
Producers have said that this season is about why they needed to get back to the island. Next season (the last of the show) will focus on what happens when they get back.
I have to agree. These past 2 episodes, "Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham" and "LaFleur" were REALLY good.
Namaste insinuates that it will not only be good, but as you said, begin to reveal the story of the ones who were left behind and started working for Dharma. We've waited 4 seasons and now I think we're about to find out a good bit about Dr. Marvin Candle other than the fact he has changed his name in some of the orientation films. I'm hoping we get to discover more about the leak "incident". And who his child is...
Also, during this break from last week I've gone back and re-watched all the episodes in season 5. Remember when they returned to their camp and it was destroyed? Remember when they got in the boat and were paddling? There was an Ajira water bottle. Not sure if anyone caught that.

So dont say you didn't say it. Now what is there yet for Peters to hold out from yet? They haven't had anything to hold out from. We'll see when workouts start if he shows up. See if he is there when camp starts, my guess is no unless he gets traded or gets the money he so doesn't deserve.

AFC, with a statement like that he is more qualified to be a standup comic than a LT.

First off, "billsfreak", where is the link of Peters saying that, and even if he in fact did, HOW is that bitching and moaning?

Why stop at Cutler?? Let's be the Anna Nicole Smith of the NFL.
Why not Belicheck? And let's overpay Tony Gonzalez so he'll come here just for a paycheck even though he hates Buffalo!
Why not trade Lynch and Jackson for Adrian Peterson?
Trade Pol for Urlacher, Overpay Peppers and bring him in, and replace Turk Schonert with Mike Martz!

Cutler has a big arm and a big ego---two key ingredients to play quarterback. He didn't win in Dever because he was playing catchup all the time because Denver had no defense--couldn't rush the passer or stop the run--even the Bills pushed them around!
Edwards might be just the kind of guy McDaniels wants:cerebral, disciplined, accurate and comfortable staying within a system. Cutler is more Kelly-like: big arm, big ego, loves going for the deep ball and supremely confident.
Swapping these guys might make a lot of sense for the players and the franchises.
No it doesn't. The Bills have no reason to make that trade unless Edwards played horrible last year.

Why is anyone even talking about this? The Bills aren't going to go after Cutler unless there were no signs of life at our QB spot. Do you really think they would make a play after the Bills PR has put Edwards on nearly every radio and tv show gaa gaa'ing over T.O. ??

the Browns beat the Bills @ home. Does that mean Brady Quinn is a better QB than Trent Edwards? Your logic is ridiculous.
It was a reference to Denver's defense. Not a Cutler/Edwards comparison. But thanks for playing anyway!

3.) Cutler is a good QB, and "he hasn't won anything" is a silly argument. He had arguably the worst defense in the league the last 2 years. Remember, he lost what, 7 running backs last year? And yeah he's got good receivers now, but in 07 he didn't have the perfect number 2, Eddie Royal. Their wide receiver core outside of Marshall was pretty thin...Stokley was number 2 in 07. And Tony Scheffler? Yeah, he's a good player, but he owes his development to Jay Cutler being his QB. Give this kid a running back who can stay healthy (I think Ryan Torain can be that guy, if McDaniels doesnt screw that up too) and a defense that can be at least average, he might have a chance to win. But you can't blame the losses on this guy...those were squarely on the defense.
We beat them at home, case in point!

I think its a no brainer for the Bills to make an offer and sniff around aquiring Cutler. If the Broncos like Edwards then offer Edwards and our #11 first round pick for Cutler and their TE Tony Sheffler. Our offense would be set for years as we could then lock up both players to long term deals. Imagine an offense led by Cutler and Lynch complemented with Owens, Evans and Sheffler. Could be a juggernaut. My rationale is that this season is make or break for Edwards as we would need to likley extend his contract after this year and he would become quite expensive. I do THINK Edwards can be the answer but he still hasnt consistently shown it yet. Meanwhile Cutler has put up 4,000 yard 25 TD seasons in inclement Denver. I think he would be our franchise player for the next decade. Go for it Russ!
I'm surprised the Broncos owner tossed Cutler the way he did.

I think this story going on now and the whole John Elway story last year are 2 seperate things. Validating McDaniels behavior by Cutler's comments last year is assinine.

Facebook has gotten all corporate now. The original facebook, actually called "thefacebook" was its best. It was only a college social networking site. And you could only get a facebook if your college was added to their system. At that point, there were no high schoolers or baby boomers.
And now Zuckerberg is trying to go after Twitter when instead facebook should focus on enhancing itself.
