  1. I wouldn't be surprised if he's had this game circled for awhile. Dallas? Heir apparent in Parsons on the other sideline? If he has anything left I expect him to bring it all this weekend.
  2. When Brady left: Dingdong the witch is dead! When Belichick leaves: No! Stay longer!
  3. He's not going to that division, not with Philly and Dallas the way they are now. He'll want to go somewhere he can make the playoffs right away. He's no spring chicken. Winning in the same division Brady went to.... 🤔 You never know what really motivates these people.
  4. If Tua is gonna get hurt, I hope it's before our game. Not because I don't want to play him, but because I don't want us to be responsible for it. It's going to be a gauntlet for him. I hope he stays healthy too.
  5. No need to apologize. Anyway, it IS a card that fell our way. They're not as good as they were 24 hours ago. That's undeniable. What I take issue with is saying that they KEEP falling our way. These things have a way of evening out over time, and nothing you or I do or say will impact that.
  6. As a fan you make your peace with the fact that football has an injury rate of roughly one hundred percent. Nobody is dancing around because a guy got hurt. But it's a fact of the game. Everybody gets them. We have had our share and nobody felt sorry for us. It's okay to discuss how it might affect your team's chances going forward. After all, part of taking care of their own business includes winning in week 18.
  7. He have anything left? Dude is a 12-year vet. I think he just tweaked his back.
  8. I actually forgot he was on their team. They got literally nothing out of him and then he got hurt. Quinnen Williams is going to EAT next Sunday.
  9. Truth. Both of mine played in college (D-3, rowing and baseball) and it gets WAY better at that point, partly because those parents' kids are almost never still playing.
  10. Gabe running free in the secondary is like Ben Simmons at the three-point line. There's a reason they're open.
  11. Mama seems like 90% of youth/travel parents I knew in my day. Team won? Who cares. My kid didn't get the ball enough.
  12. Right about now would be a good time to put Trevon Diggs' quote on the bulletin board at OBD.
  13. Is anyone talking about the FG McDaniel took on 4th and 2 from like the 5 yard line in the 3rd quarter? They punch it in there and none of this likely happens. Some ***** genius that guy is. I'd be embarrassed to kick it from there.
  14. Probably not unlike the way we defended the Dolphins.
  15. I need to know if there is any scenario, however infinitesimal in nature, in which the Bills win the division and BOTH Miami and KC miss the playoffs. It will cement my rooting interests for the next four weeks. On a not unrelated note, you know that after the last 48 hours, the rest of the AFC feels like Michigan felt when they saw Alabama pop up in the #4 slot in the CFP.
  16. McDaniel looked quite innovative last night when he kicked a FG from the 2 yard line. If he doesn't have his toys he's just another coach. Wonder how the Dolphins O would be doing if they had suffered all the losses that the Bills D has had to deal with this year. Wait, we kinda saw it last night when Tyreek was out.
  17. I was only posting the thread title (after correcting its misspelling). I'm really talking more about the comments in it.
  18. Of course it was and of course they were. It reduces my enjoyment of their implosion not one whit. And not for nothing, but losing to Denver and Russell Wilson (who also beat the Chiefs and are fighting for a playoff spot) is nothing like blowing a 14-point lead to the 4-8 Titans and a rookie QB with three minutes left.
  19. Pick a thread at random. They're all gold. Connor Williams out for year
  20. None of the positive outcomes are very likely, but if you kick the XP, you’re down to deciding whether to go for two at the end of the game, where the chances of a *****up are higher because the D is playing with more desperation and the refs are less likely to help you. And you HAVE to score a second TD, whereas if you make the early 2-pointer, you at least have a shot at two long FGs to save time. Patty Melt and Tuna Melt on back to back nights.
  21. They’ve moved past anger and seem to be in the denial/bargaining stages this morning. Love it.
  22. Analytically it’s absolutely the right move and I’ve seen it done at least 3 times this week, including in the Army-Navy game. If you make it, you can tie with two FGs or win with a TD. If you miss it, you go for two and the tie on the second TD. Two-pointers convert at about 50% or better, so you should make at least one of two, and the potential rewards are better. Shocking that it took coaches this long to figure it out. And it worked to perfection this time.
  23. This is complete BS because they drew their own blue line through the ball, not the LOS, which makes Toney’s infractions look as bad as the one he was called for. If you do the same on the play that was called, he’s literally straddling the line.
  24. Watching people wake up to this is awesome. Is this like one of the best 36-hour stretches in Bills history or what? Come-from-behind win on the road at KC with the whole country watching, followed by Mahomes and Reid showing their asses to the world, followed by one of the most epic MNF collapses ever by Miami at home.
