  1. Those hicks from southern Dansville don't know anything. Now if they were from NORTHERN Dansville they'd have a clue.
  2. Wow, that's bad. But we don't have to go back 15 years, or even 10. How about just last week when EJ got picked right when Goodwin was shoved out of the way by a Steeler? I said then that the ball wasn't getting to Goodwin anyway - it was underthrown - but I also thought that if it was Brady throwing it to Gronk it would have been called PI. Guess I was wrong. What made it so bad was that it was not one but TWO of the worst calls ever: first the phantom first down, then the PI on the Hail Mary that absolutely never gets called...except that one time.
  3. Yep... they'll sue the Bills for putting a railing there that was low enough to sit on. You will see a higher railing, and a screen, faster than you saw that fence go up on the California Road ravine last year. Stupid not only hurts, it also inconveniences everyone else.

  5. Easily the most frightened I have been at a sporting event. The top level of the Bell Centre in Montreal gives it a run for its money though. Sat up there once and understood immediately why I was able to get tickets on game day.
  6. This. Also, Justin Rogers.
  7. I don't have a pic but they were right. It wasn't going to convince Leavy, though.
  8. I never felt the need to apologize to Bruce Smith whenever he held out, timed his surgeries so he would miss camp, or didn't get his flu shots. When he stepped on the field for us I was damn glad he did, and I thought that he was worth whatever he wanted. But I didn't feel like I had to apologize to him. Same thing with Byrd. It's a business and that works both ways.
  9. I wonder if it has ever happened before, a guy catching three TD bombs from three different quarterbacks in the same season. If it has, I guarantee it wasn't the earlier guy's first three TDs in the NFL. This kid is special.
  10. Right before Geno threw his first pick today, the refs called a false start on the Jets. There was some debate among the refs, and when it was clear the call was going against the Jets, Geno threw a mini-hissy fit. I thought to myself, hmm. Sure enough, next play, Byrd picks him. Second pick came right after EJ's bomb to Goodwin. You could almost sense Geno was wound up, thinking "I've got to match that." Sure enough, he locks onto Holmes and rifles one 25 yards upfield...and Byrd is sitting on it again. I think Geno gets caught up in the comparison more than EJ does. He also has a giant chip on his shoulder because he didn't go in the first round (remember, some were touting him last year as a potential #1 overall). I just don't think he has the maturity to face real adversity in this league. The minute things start going south, the wheels fall off.
  11. Today went a long way toward sealing that deal. You all saw the train wreck of a kick that Folk missed. Then Carp comes in and kicks two 40+ yarders dead nuts through the same set of uprights, cool as a cucumber. He's been very, very good. Not sure how you let him go now. Wonder if we could at least get a late-round pick for Hopkins.
  12. In fairness, Rex was probably just trying to keep his guys away from the Falls.
  13. Nice to get that one off our backs.
  14. All part of the psychological strategy. Let Simms get an easy garbage TD and Geno and Rexy come back to a nice little QB controversy.
  15. Garbage time. But I love that a controversy will be created nonetheless.
  16. We can't even capitalize on their ST mistake.
  17. McLovin wanted a pick for himself there
  18. Geno is such an easy one to dislike too. This is great.
  19. I love this. Knew Geno was going to try to equal EJ and he paid for his hubris
  20. Before the snap Cromartie is already heading downfield, and Goodwin STILL blows by him
