  1. Due to the fact that it is absolutely 100% impossible to analyze a draft the day after it happens, I was most likely saying "Ok, we traded up in order to draft a quarterback. I hope he validates the trade by doing well." Even the most knowledgeable of football personnel can't be completely sure what to think of players until they've completed at least a season, maybe 2. After the 06 draft, everybody was saying "Texans are idiots, Mario Williams sucks, Reggie Bush is jeebus reincarnated". That's how much post-draft banter matters.
  2. And part of reviewing Losman's history with the Bills is looking at what specific "experts" thought of him before the draft? I don't really understand what it is you're trying to do here.
  3. Does it matter? He was probably creaming his pants over Losman like he creams his pants over every 1st round QB.
  4. One good way to not make people think you're belaboring an issue is to not belabor an issue. It happened dude, get over it. Losman isn't the first bust for the Bills and he won't be the last.
  5. Jones only rushed for 1,000 yards once in his career and failed to win out a starting job over Maurice Morris in Seattle. He is one of the most injury prone RBs in the NFL and has rushed for a mediocre 3.9 YPC for his career. Sean Ryan has started exactly 2 games in his career and has 90 receiving yards in his 4 years in the NFL. Marcus Spears has recorded just 4.5 sacks in his 3 years in the league at defensive end. Which one isn't a bust?
  6. The Cowboys took Julius Jones in the second round, Sean Ryan in the 5th round, and then Marcus Spears in the first round of the 05 draft. In other words, nobody good.
  7. You gotta be kidding me! He actually stayed in the field huh? Props to him.
  8. JinVA is from the same town as Michael Vick, which means he makes dogs kill each other for sport.
  9. I heard that he's a lawyer now. I hope he speaks more eloquently in the courtroom.
  10. Jauron had no head coaching experience eh? I guess Chicago and Detroit don't count?
  11. That's just a great story. I'm surprised I'd never heard it before, being from Buffalo and all.
  12. I'm a little confused. First you say your father is the minister of a church that's becoming too fundamentalist. Then you say that the minister of his church is becoming a fundamentalist.
  13. Don't forget Simpson barely missing his interception, and Stroud barely missing the field goal block. Not that I blame any of them (maybe Corner), but we were soooooo close to putting that one away 5 separate times.
  14. Whatever, dude. What was the point in this?
  15. Well yeah, of course. Romo is a celebrity and there's nothing he can do about that. But he used his celebrity to brighten up somebody's day instead of heading to a strip club with some thug "bodyguards". I can respect that.
  16. Come on, it isn't about the money. When was the last time that guy probably got to see a movie? It was probably the highlight of the guy's life.
  17. This guy is the best thing to ever come out of Ball State. Lets go Bulls.
  18. What do I not get? That crayonz is just messing with us? If that's what I don't get, then yeah I was probably dumb for taking the Ankiel comment seriously.
  19. Shaq is one of my top 5 favorite people in the world of sports. IMO he has one of the greatest personalities out there, and he spent a few good years playing with utter dominance at his position. It's sad to see the way he's declined.
  20. What makes everybody think Vick would even consider signing with Buffalo? He grew up in Newport News, went to Va Tech and played in Atlanta. Does Buffalo seem like his type of town? Would you really trust him in the snow?
  21. Yeah, according to the article, it was the homeless man "Doc" that related the story to the press, not Romo. When approached about the story, Romo confirmed it but provided no details. This doesn't seem to be a PR move to me. As much as I hate the Cowgirls, I do like Romo. He seems like a nice guy and he probably has more humility than most players, coming from Eastern Illinois and not being a highly touted prospect. Most people hate Romo because he gets an inordinate amount of attention on ESPN and other media outlets, but that is certainly not his fault.
  22. I'm hungry for a slant too but the opposing defenses never give us a cushion like we give them. Plus, our one big weapon for a slant is James Stone Hands Hardy.
  23. Topics are getting a little stale here, the 0 receptions for Evans has been brought up numerous times.
