Analysis of How Defenses are Shutting Down Passing Offenses
BuffaloBill replied to Old Coot's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is very interesting material. In the chess game that is the NFL who will create, schematically, route combinations to overcome what defenses are doing? -
I like it.

Let the OP have his fantasy…. Shhhhh BTW … worst idea ever…..

who is a must have on this list of Bills UFA?
BuffaloBill replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would add Rapp to this. He brings physicality that the Bills need. -
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Prayers for you and family.

Thank you for this because I ended up with medium vs medium rare finish. I thought the cut was thick enough to avoid this outcome. Your technique will be more likely to achieve the intended result. I tried to get there by dropping the sous vide temp knowing internal temp would rise with finishing. We’ll be over but we don’t need any sort of romantic fire.

You must pay your penance. Begin the self whipping now.

The great 83 is turning the big 60. Happy birthday, Andre Reed!

Kelly to Reed was awesome. Happy Birthday Andre! -
Good for him but it is surprising.

Playoff defense not just bad, next level awful
BuffaloBill replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Outside of injuries this year it is hard to understand just how badly the D falls off in the playoffs. Some of the talking head shows postulate that the length of the season hits “aged” players harder. The Bills D is not a youth movement. Who knows maybe there is something to this thought. -
At least he was not silent but deadly.

She got off very lightly. Hard to believe the sentencing was this lenient.

Have a 1 lb ribeye from local butcher in the sous vide right now. Will finish by searing and butter basting in a hot cast iron pan (looking for crust finish) rest for 5-10 minutes. Potatoes rubbed in olive oil are baking. Then adding a side salad. If we went out somewhere this would be $100+ easily for the two of us. Significantly less money to do it at home.

The really hard thing is that Te AFC may have its best era of QB’s. The Bills have to compliment JA with a D and a ST’s group if they hope to get to the promised land. The remainder of the AFC is too good for JA to do it alone.

2024 concerns at Saftey and Defensive Gloom and Doom
BuffaloBill replied to Lenigmusx's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott is a CB and S whisperer. I am not concerned there. Assuming Babich returns the middle of the D is set for LB’s. It’s the d line that requires some hope. The Bills will have to look to the draft and maybe one bargain but good FA (Floyd was this). -
There is no place for this behavior. Plain and simple it is wrong on the part of all who contributed.

Like many here, lifting up positive prayers and thoughts for your wife. Stay strong.

Greg Cosell - “I don’t think they have a number 1 WR”
BuffaloBill replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
How much of the issue is scheme. I agree with some of the earlier posts that suggest age may be a factor for Diggs. However, they are paying him like a #1. I think the Bills lack a big body possession receiver to complement Diggs. -
Josh made the right call to go for the TD
BuffaloBill replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
From a situational football standpoint it was the wrong call. Too much time on the clock and a harder throw to complete (based on yards and conditions). Love JA to death but he can get too confident sometimes. This is one of them. keep in mind the d was shown to be extremely vulnerable so Mahomes had enough time left to score. with all of that said it a point of conjecture. It does not matter now. -
Knocks on him are that he is easy to jam and lacks frame. Bills need someone who can get contested balls with a bigger body.

Ryan O'Halloran - Bills should go Defense Heavy in draft
BuffaloBill replied to BCAS Baritone's topic in The Stadium Wall
For those so high on RD 1 WR: https://www.milehighreport.com/2020/4/23/21232643/success-rate-of-first-round-wide-receivers-this-century\ Keep this in mind - 19 of the 77 wide receivers taken in the first round this century have or had fewer than 100 career receptions in the NFL. They tend to be fools gold. -
If you watch the sequence on the second play broken down it was no wonder Diggs was not getting open. None of us know where he was supposed to be and what route he was running but the Bills had a terrible route design. It’s almost as if the Bills get in their own way. If Brady does become OC these issues have to be cleaned up.

The WR#2 Market (Spotrac Breakdown and Comparison)
BuffaloBill replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am beginning to believe that Diggs may be a one trick pony who is a bit played out. Various corners have been highly effective in shutting him down. There remains a question as to whether scheme is an issue in his decline. Whatever the reason, his drop in production has been alarming and problematic. -
Titans to hire Bengals OC Brian Callahan as new HC
BuffaloBill replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is good because it is likely to hurt both teams. -
