  1. My wife is Peruvian. We were once down visiting her family in Peru's capital city of Lima. I was is a busy mall and had my 22 jersey on. I heard someone shout "Freddy is in the house!"......it was obviously a tourist.....its awesome being on the road and meeting other Bills fans that way.

And in response to the OP...you should never be ashamed of your Bills gear

  2. California Road!

If you get there anywhere between 9 and 10 there will be a good spot for you. Getting out is fantastic. There is a cop directing traffic at the end of the road so the wait is extremely minimal. The walk isn't that bad and most places cost $10. All around great spot.

Didn't they close down a bridge or something over there that made the walk easy? What is the walk now? 10 minutes. I do like being close to the stadium so we don't have to walk until noon...

  3. So I have always parked in the Hammer lot but have found it difficult getting there before its filled up this year. Last week it was filled at 8:16am. We were able to park there for the Carolina game but that's it.

All the other games we have Parked by the lot over by the field house. It has been OK but this past week we got to see why it's dubbed the "mud lot.". It was a disaster. Just a sloppy garbage filled mess.

My question is where are some other options for private grass lots like Hammer and Mud? I'm not familiar with the other side of the stadium. Not looking for a 25 min walk or somebody's back yard. Any other options out there?

  4. I remember a game in the Ralph when the Saints with Gus Ferotte at QB beat the Bills in a really nasty weather game. I remember Gus name because his brother played for the Bills (Mitch Ferotte) Can't place the year though, perhaps 80's, anyhow, I was there, frozen and disappointed.

Ahh the "Bickering Bills" of 89. That was the middle game of a late season 3 game swoon that almost cost us the playoffs. The following week we'd lose in San Francisco 21-10 to the eventual champs. Thankfully the season ended with a 37-0 win at the hapless Jets. We'd win the division with a 9-7 record and head on down I90 to play Cleveland in the playoffs....where a Kelly/Kosar shootout was spoiled by Ronnie Harmon

  5. 7 teams per conference? So adding two more crappy 9-7 or 8-8 teams? And only one team with a bye in each conference? Horrible idea.

I'd rather they keep the pre-season games than turn the playoffs into the NHL (where at least you play a 7 game series so the crappy teams that squeak in rarely advance).

Actually the "crappy" teams do pretty good in the NHL playoffs somewhat commonly. Finals 2 years ago #6 New Jersey ( go Devils) vs #8Los Angeles.....and any hockey fan knows lower seeds winning best of sevens happens often.

How many #5 or #6 seeds have won the Superbowl recently? Giants, Pittsburgh, Ravens.......with all that said I could not agree more. Let's stop diminishing the regular season. I liked it when it was 3 divisions and 2 wild cards.

Believe me, I don't want to make a big deal out of it but did they not take a knee down 7? rewatch the play and tell me that is not what happened. But whatever....its not that big of a deal.

He got to the line of scrimmage with 2 seconds left and tried to spike the ball but the clock already hit zero.

watch it again. knee goes down
