When STFers start to get their Training Camp ticket code this morning, please post here. Last year, I received my code at 9:32
Just got mine emailed. I think they do it right abut against the clock every year. And every year I forget and have a mild panick attack when it isn't there when i wake up

Was 4 tickets the max last year? I feel like it was at least 6 last year.
Still 6 for the season ticket holders.

Cool. Then maybe they should also cover baseball and basketball once and awhile. Those sports come up very rarely, especially in comparison to the amount of golf talk. If they want to limit their audience to people that watch Golf, Soccer, and hockey be my guest, but I am not listening to it. I know people around here like hockey but its a niche sport at best. For Gods sake a recent episode of Monday Night Raw had higher average ratings than the Stanley Cup last year.
Its fine if you like it and listen. Its just not my cup of tea. I think the quality of the programming has decreased dramatically.
So, as someone who doesn't listen how can you coment on the content? How do you know what they are and are not talking about?

It’s called SPORTS radio, not FOOTBALL radio. Whether someone likes it or not, they absolutely should discuss other sports.
You are 100% right, and even with that said the majority of talk is Bills related, even in the off season

I love WGR. I enjoy the morning and afternoon shows (not so much for one bills live, I avoid that one) I know that's an unpopular opinion in here but I think the complaining is a little over the top. There is a lot I disagree with on those shows and a lot that I agree with. To me that is decent radio. Yes there are some dud segments but there is also some great stuff.

Im pretty pissed off at the newspaper Shout! for being late on their delivery. Im still waiting to see the schedule *****.
Man I miss Shout! Growing up in the ADKs in the 80's and 90's Shout! was one of my go-to's for Bills news. It would always arrive a week late though, covering a game from 2 weeks back. Still loved it, lots of cool stuff in there, in the days before having everything on your phone.

Well it's not us but the whole "they wouldn't make a team play on Thanksgiving AND Christmas" theory is shot down

The schedule release is the most overhyped & boring NFL “event” of the year. It’s weird too because the draft, 2 weeks earlier, might be the most interesting and exciting. 🤷🏻♂️ We know the opponents and no matter how hard they want you to care about the order, I really don’t. I look and book flights for the road game(s) that I want to go to. Refundable flights and refundable hotels booked in case things change. Otherwise I’m just like whatever.
I think it would be super interesting if we didn’t know the crossover opponents in advance. You could do a draw for all non-division crossover games. That would be amazing. Instead of playing the team that finished in the same spot as you in their division, you’d pull those names out to match them up. That would be another NFL event that could generate a ton of revenue. If, at some point between FA and the draft, you had a draw for those opponents it would get huge ratings. My $.02
I feel the complete opposite. Unless the Bills are drafting top 10 (not for a looooong time I hope) I feel the draft is a crap shoot and you wont even know the results for possibly years. It's boring to me. But, the schedule release? it makes the seaon real for me, I can start deciding which games I will go to and which I will sell. I can start planning my other life event s around the Bills schedule. I also like to know what the primtime games are , the holiday games, etc Now, a 3 hour show to release a schedule? Stupid. But the relase in on itself > watching teams pick college players who may or may not pan out

Oof. Rams fans will have to be up at 6:30 AM their time for that London game.

Ronnie freakin' Harmon. I was 13 and my soul was crushed....
Two regular season games stand out for me from that season. The shoot out in Houston, mentioned many times in the random game thread and the loss at a lousy New England. That was the first Bills game I ever attended, we had relatives in Mass at the time and growing up in the Adirondacks I was a long way from the Bills stadium (def one of the reasons why I eventually moved to Rochester, to be closer to the Bills). The NE loss was crushing as I was a kid and we blew a 24-7 lead. I remember walking back to the car with my dad and uncle and then riding back to my uncles place, I never said a word. I was so mad

I found this concerning, when reaching out today to see when I might be called in to discuss my seats:
I’m not sure at this time, but we are hoping to have all members in by the beginning of next season. Once I have a better idea on a timeline I’ll let you know!
Um, by the beginning of next season?! What?

I hate that it takes that long.
Wish it was announced one week after the draft.
Didn't it used to be, back in the day? In fact I seem to remember it coming out in April before the draft. But those are the days where international, Christmas Day games and satreaming services had yet to come into play

For me it's Schedule release day > NFL draft on the excitment meter

I love it! I’m bored after Christmas morning, and having the NFL on in the background makes it feel like Thanksgiving (a superior holiday anyway).
Thanksgiving is the King of all holidays. No stress of buying gifts. just food, family, alcohol and football. Now Christmas will be that, except plus the stress.

Yeah, if they did a Wednesday already, no weekday is off limits

I am season ticket holder and make it to about 4 regular season games. I sell the other 4 games (sometimes the bigger games) and make the money to finance my seasons. Never miss a playoff, though. And sure as hell would never miss the last game at Rich Stadium or the first in the new stadium, those are pricelss.

It's weird, mock drafts (outside of FF) have never done anything for me, in fact the draft as a whole is kind of boring to me save for those instances where the Bills pick in the top 10 (and lets not hope for that anytime soon). The draft is such a crap shoot I am more a wait and see how it plays out kind of guy. Don't get me wrong, I read the grades and watcht he Bills first couple of picks, but the draft does not get me all charged up like others.
Oddly enough schedule release day does, I scan through peoples proposed schedules and am all over the rumours the day of and before that start to leak out. I love schedule release day because I can start planning and having dates locked to certain games makes the upcomming season seem so much closer for me.

Just waiting for them to give us 300 level folks a call. Ready to sign on the dotted line Bills!

Yep, to see a Bills game (My wife and I travel a lot, so it's not like a Euro trip is a one time thing)

I would have been 14, I rememember watching this with my Giants fan dad (who eventually became a Bills fan after years of wathching me suffer and be loyal) He went to take a shower before work as Denver lined up to make the game 24-9 and pretty much out of reach as there was no 2pt conversion then. Chaos ensued and when he came back the Bills had a lead. A week later, we were watching the Raiders game and something pulled him away and once again Chaos ensued and the Bills came back. So it became a thing that season, whenever the Bills were down I would tell him he had to leave the room and he obliged. There were a couple other instances, albeit not as dramatic, where it payed off that season.
I had mentioned he was a Giants fan, he was bartending for the Sperbowl and we were unable to watch the game togther. After Norwood missed he tried calling me but I didn't answer, still feel a little guilty about that as he wanted to console me, and had been such a good sport when I would send him away in the Bills times of need that season.
