  1.

Chiefs were awfully injury ravaged last season... they did have a fair amount of talent...but their QB sucked...I also wonder if they didn't get into that "playing not to win" thing that seems to be the trend as of late. I am not saying they would have won 10 games without the injuries, but the awful coaching of Romeo Crennel (sp?) led them to 8-8 the year before.

Even with their surprising 3-0 start I still wouldn't be surprised if they finish 9-7 or 8-8....tho that 2-14 schedule will help..

  2. Yep I heard the situation there was getting to a very dangerous point.

I really didn't notice any danger. There was some yelling and stuff but there were two huge RV's between me and them. But I do know the group you're speaking of I think. My group was more into their thing, maybe the trouble was coming from the other side of the pats group. I had to much grilling and bean bag toss to worry about than pay attention to them.

  3. Hammer lot is the way to go but I'm kinda glad I ended up in the Mud lot this past week. Lots of....um..."personality" over there too. I had never parked there before and now I know of a good number two. With that said we're leaving Rochester an extra half hour early at 7am this week.

  4. I was shocked how fast the cars where coming in. Beside the huge TBD tailgate party, the were a lot of opening game one timer small group parkers.which made for a crazy morning.

When you were in the Mud lot, did you see the 3 RV's with Brady fans getting pelted with corn, mud, cans and bottles?

Thank You but I only own the land, It's tailgaters like you that set the tone/atmosphere for a great day of tailgatin.

Were those Pat fans toward the back corner? Close to the field house?

  5. So I've been to MANY Bills games and more often than not I park in Hammer lot. To my surprise Sunday the lot was totally full at 8:15...I know the board had a meet up there which I am sure played a roll in it filling so early (in years past I would be safe showing up at 830 to get in with spots to spare). I am just wondering if the lot filled so fast because of the meet up or just as much because the new harder stadium lot rules? At any rate I'm leaving Rochester a half hour earlier this week.......my crew ended up parking in the mud lot which was OK. But I hate how the field house blocks the view of the stadium..

  6. I got some chicken breast marinating in a spicy honey mustard right now. I'll grill them up tomorrow and toss them on a Kaiser bun with bacon, onion and tomato. Think the other guys got buffalo dip, brats and mac salad. I'll be starting with a bloody mary at 9am in the hammer lot and then onto Saranac Pumpkin ale and PBR's and shot of tuerkey...LETS GO BUFFALO!!!

  7. :( That does suck. Raft's been doing games for CBS Part-Time for a while w/ Lundquist though, which is odd. Had the Wisconsin Sweet16 game on my DVR for a solid year.

I drove out to Syracuse to watch that game with some friends at Chucks, as I did for the final four game last year. obviously the Wisconsin memory was better.....But yeah. The three amigos are done: http://www.awfulanno...-in-sports.html

  8. Michaels/Collinsworth is one of the very few that doesn't make my want to puke so I'll give the nod to them.

For all of sports it's Sean McDonough, Jay Bilas & Bill Raftery and it's not close. Those three should do every sporting event ever.

I'm a huge Syracuse hoops fan so I hear ya' on McDonough, Bilas and Raf. Unfortunately I believe I heard on a Syracuse message board that Raf signed on to exclusively call games for the new Big East and occasional CBS games. This would mean no more of the three amigos....

  9. Nothing I've done for the past thirteen years has worked, so I'd have to say I have no Bills superstitions.

Same here. back when we were good I was obviously younger and very superstitious. Even through the early to mid 2000's I wouldn't say I was superstitious but certainly had my Bills game day habits. But I've grown dull to them all. Perhaps its also a getting older thing. I still watch every down of every game but it's been so long since we've played an important game I no longer have that same feeling of connection with the outcome. Not that we do affect the outcome, but the feeling we don't want to mess things up. I love my Bills though. And I suffer and drink with all of you Sundays through January.
  10. C.J. Spiller- 1500 yards rushing OVER

E.J. Manuel- 20 touchdown passes UNDER

    Robert Woods- 60 receptions UNDER

    KIko Alonso- 110 tackles OVER

    Mario Williams- 11 sacks PUSH

Leodis McKelvin- 20 plays where he looks in position on a play and then the pass is still completed WAY OVER

Stevie Johnson- 2 fines for inappropriate touchdown celebrations PUSH

Dustin Hopkins- 3 kickoffs out of bounds UNDER

Matt Leinart- dresses for 3 games hmmm

This last one isn't exactly a stat, but I thought I'd throw it in:

    Wins- 7 PUSH

  11. Worst I think is the Monday Night Football crew of Mike Tirico (pains me to say that as a Syracuse guy) and Jon Gruden. There was a time I liked Gruden but his "Aw shucks," Madden 2.0 schtick has really grown to annoy me. Just comment on the game bro, we know you like football. The best I think is Michaels and Collinsworth (though there was a time I couldn't stand him, funny how things change). After them I'd say its a severe drop off. I like Albert as a play by play guy. Dierdorf catches some slack as a color guy but Brady love aside I always liked him. The semi old timer in me thinks the guys in the 80's and 90's were much better.
