The Tre White of the first 4 games of 2024 was pretty darn close to being back to the old Tre White, actually.
Even 80% of the old Tre White you don't cut.
It's difficult to assess how far back he was because of the quarterbacks he was playing against, but he did have some struggles during training camp. I'm hoping that Tre can make a strong comeback and win the Comeback Player of the Year award, although I also try to remain realistic.

You admitted its bad PR. I'm not talking about end of the roster guys (spoiler: end of the roster guys are pretty much interchangeable and don't matter all that much), I'm talking about guys like Leonard Floyd, mid tier FA's who might raise eyebrows if the team cut the dude who died on the field and had multiple teams to pick.
I don't believe that cutting someone who almost died is bad publicity. In the end, the game is all about winning, not feel-good stories. Damar wasn't even a high-draft pick, he was a fringe player when he suffered a heart attack. Leonard Floyd has made it clear that he prioritizes money over everything else. He doesn't care whether the team cuts Hamlin or not.

Being an attractive destination for free agents helps winning.
Do you think free agents are going to want to sign someplace where one of the precious roster spots is reserved for a guy they feel bad for? That's not a winning mentality and that's why a FA wouldn't sign here. The players are as cutthroat as anyone. There should be little concern for symphony or compassion, that's weakness.

PR matters. You don't want free agents thinking "Buffalo is the place where they cold-blooded cut the dude who died on the field for them."
Winning > PR

The technique has already worked and quickly for a number of players.
Plus the team only saves about $6m if they cut him. Doubt you find a replacement corner at his level for that money
Tre White of 4 years ago, no. Tre White today, maybe.

He may not receive a high salary on the free market, so he might accept a pay cut to stay with Buffalo and remain in the familiar system while he continues to recover.

Quitter. I know what it’s like to lose. Moreso, I strongly suspect, than just about everyone here. It hurts. But the best way to avoid losing again is to get up and chase your goal harder. I might lose again next time, but it won’t be for lack of effort or desire. The only thing than one accomplishes by giving up is ensuring that she/he will never meet that goal.
The best way to stop losing is to take a step back, realize why you are failing, and come up with a new strategy. The Bills are content with where they are and I expect this team to lose in the playoffs until the direction of the franchise changes.

Then be little girly boys and whine all year.
Josh ***** Allen is going to be lifting the Lombardi high a year from now.
You better believe it.
Are we trading Josh?

Even thought we are close, we have never been further away. You never tried and tried and tried and still didn’t succeed. Are you 5’8” and have you tried to dunk a basketball?

Well, it looks like he is safe. I don't know about this one, I fully expected him to be fired, they were just terrible last season. Very risky decision by McDermott.
Not risky at all, now McDermott has someone to blame next year.

I do. I see them heading over to streaming eventually. They did generate huge revenue from advertisers. ABC was down in advertising revenue this past quarter.
ABC advertising revenue is down because their shows suck & they overpayed for NBA & Monday Night Football

Just not with the Bills.
The fact that Josh Allen & Blake Bortles have played in the same amount of AFC Championship Games, makes me sad

Any chance he lands in Denver with Sean Peyton.

Im not saying it only happens in Buffalo, but there are lots of stadiums where guys don’t perform that behavior. I’ve been to the Jax stadium many times and Miami even more, and never witnessed it. I don’t care, and laugh when I see the guys, but it’s also kind of gross as I normally wash my hands always after and can’t do that in Buffalo with people peeing in the sinks.
Anyway, I’m happy Steel is coming up, and can’t wait for my first game in the new stadium. I fully expect the tix are going to be a lot more expensive and am prepared for it. I still will take my kids up for whatever Sunday game in September is at 1pm. It’s too hard to make a night game. Not when I fly back Monday morning as most of the time the only nonstop on SWas that is the only airline that has one nonstop to Tampa.Florida isn't really known for rowdy fans. Go to any sporting event in Boston, Pittsburgh, Philly, I'm sure sure I've seen it elsewhere and you’ll see hammered dudes pissing in sinks

Why half the knuckleheads use the sink as their personal toilet. Only in Buffalo. You’d never see someone in the sink at the Ray Jay stadium in Tampa.
I've seen that in more stadiums than not, barely a Buffalo thing.

I don’t think we need his experience. I’m ready to move forward with a young cheaper WR core. Maybe a young veteran like Curtis Samuel added.
I don’t think Josh needs Diggs anymore.
Kincaid
Samuel
Shakir
Rookie 1st rounder
Rookie 2nd/3rd rounder
Knox
Cook
Shorter
Do you think we are going to sign a guy like Curtis Samuel, and spend a first-round AND a day 2 pick on WR? What about the dozen or so pass rushers?
-
I'm more disappointed that Diggs is playing in the Pro Bowl than anything else. I was hoping that an injury he was playing through was the cause of his drop in production. The Bills and Diggs are in a tough spot because his production doesn't warrant his contract, and he doesn't believe that we have a coach capable of winning a Super Bowl. Unfortunately, they are stuck with each other for at least the next two years.

Will be worth every penny when they win the Super Bowl before we do. If we were serious about winning McDermott would have been gone and Harbaugh would have been hired. Now we will be lucky to lose in the divisional round and a wildcard exit is more likely

This ***** is silly and I’m going to comment without even watching the video. Total respect for Mahomes as a player. Without him that team is nothing. But he also has had incredible HOF talent around him…Reid, Hill, Kelce. It’s frustrating for sure that the time we finally rise with an all world qb…there is another on the same time line. Allen v Mahomes is the modern day manning vs Brady. Sucks for sure we are on the manning side but we all know what eventually happens. Just one. That’s all any of us need.
That's the point of the video, Mahomes has talents and leadership around him, while Allen is stuck.

Where on the doll did Beasley touch you?
I didn't realize there was so much hate toward Cole. He was a great slot receiver who was essential to Allen's development. Not to mention, he was the best receiver in the Dolphins' playoff game.

I watched a distressing documentary on its release day. To make matters worse, the Bills lost to Philly the next day.
