Roquan Smith got traded for a second and fifth from Baltimore, and I think Milano is a better playerWhat? Milano is a good LB with injury history, Roquan might be the LB and he also stays healthy

Losing 2nd or losing 8th is still losing. Who cares. I want to win.
I do too. We can’t find a Kelce so we might as well load up on quality WRs

And both lost.
But they got to the Super Bowl; we had a one conference championship appearance with Diggs, Beasley, Brown & Sanders

I think 9ers & Eagles both had elite WRs the last 2 years

Fair take. If so, Terrell Bernard may earn "freakazoid" status.
I hope so.

I agree on Diggs and White until they got traded/injured/cut (they haven't quite aged out.
I respectfully disagree on Poyer and Hyde, and I LOVED Dr Poyer and Mr Hyde. But they were never freakazoids. They were players whose Football IQ, synchrony and hard work made them a far greater whole than the sum of their physical abilities.
I billieve their high level football IQ & work ethic is what would put them in the “freakazoid” category. Hyde & Poyer could put them in better positions to make plays than someone who was a better athlete.
-
Diggs, White, Poyer & Hyde were on that list until they aged out. You are never going to replace those individual players but you need at least find that level of talent at other positions

I'm not saying McDermott will get us any further than we have been during his time as head coach.
What I'm saying is that there's now a narrative that may benefit Josh and the Bills.
I expect a season similar to the past few where we are in the playoffs and have a legitimate shot. Only difference is that now if we do that, Josh will receive more credit, which may get him an MVP trophy
Stop it with the “narrative”. Can this team contend for a Super Bowl the way it's coached and constructed?

We have not been true contenders during McDermott's first seven years, so why should anything change now?

He has little to no value at this point, better to keep him and see if he turns the corner for us.

Jezzzzzzzz we might agree or disagree about his abilities if they are declining, his trade value, Beane's plan at WR, etc.
What the hell is this? Fans have been calling him cancer and dragging him through the mud after he put up the best 4 years any WR has ever had in Buffalo. I’d like that comment too.

This is a tough decision. Frank has won playoff games and played in a Superbowl, Fitzy was a fun player, and Diggs was a top 5 player in his position during his 4-year tenure here. Sammy, on the other hand, deserves nothing.

I thought Johnson was 2017 too, Beane was here for that, but Beane was hired after 2017 draft where we drafted White, Dawkins & Milano.
No, I don't billieve Beane was passing notes to McDermott from Carolinas war room.

College (sports) basketball is turning into a joke with the constant transferring and NIL. In the 90's- early 2000's, college basketball was the *****. It is simply ***** now.
Spoiled, entitled kids, thinking they are owed the world. It's going to bleed into professional sports very soon. The quality will suffer tremendously.
Late 90s/Early 2000s Big East was the best

Sorry you feel that way. I happen to disagree but to each his own.
I’m glad you enjoyed it, we are all here because we like sports and talking about it. For whatever reason I didn’t get into it this year. Maybe I was pissed the Bonnies AD denied us a trip to NIT?

Maybe because of the fact that since he's been here he has made the team relevant every single year & moving into the future . Go look at what Arizona, Carolina, The Jets & other GM's around the league have done in comparison before casting stones on 1 of the best GM's in recent years in the business .
Edmunds couldn't be kept due to his decision to make as much cash as possible not Beanes fault, Teller that is unfortunate no one knew what he would become, Diggs was a great signing up until now but Beane is looking forward and setting up for that, Are you saying Ed sucks or is a bust ?
Some of what you say as far no pass rushers not working out seems as though you want every player drafted to be a Mika Parsons or a Von Miller which just doesn't happen .
What about Millano, Benford,Bernard, Cook, T Johnson, Kincaid, Shakir, Spector, Torrence, ? Sure Beane has had some misses but there are other players that haven't shown what they got as of yet and could round into being great players for the Bills but it's easier to point out the misses and not mention the hits .
I'll stick with Beane and give him what he needs just like T Pegs has done by giving him a extension to complete the task at hand his history to this point is good enough for me !!!
And to answer the question of why he gets a pass - Because he's dam good at his job - GO BILLS !!!
Milano & T Johnson we're drafted by Whaley. Drafting Kincaid after we signed Knox to big money with LaPorta being drafted In the 2nd isn't a win either. Spector is JAG at this point

What? NC State, multiple double digit seed wins, three teams in the Final Four who hadn’t been there in 40 years (Purdue, NCSU) and ever (Bama)? So what that UConn is a great team and proved it. It was a great tournament.
NC State is not a Cinderella team. They have won the ACC championship and made over 30 tournament appearances. Although Purdue and Bama are not traditional basketball powerhouses, they still belong to the Big 10 and SEC respectively, and have been building their programs in recent years. However, none of the games were close or entertaining.

NC State's run was pretty exciting...
They were the ACC Champion and made the tournament over 30 times, including 2 championships, hardly a Cinderella
