  1. First of many. At 57, you should know that.

Wait a minute. Why am I answering this? This guy is probably walking down the aisle right now. He has made his last post.

Dude, if you manage to sneak in here and check this thread, please tell Ed we all said hi when you get to Whippedville Junction.

    LMAO!!! :)

This time of year, Sundays are for Bills football and even when they are not playing, it is still for watching football. Nothing more and nothing less. The "to do" list ends Saturday evening and resumes whenever I get to it again.

My plan is take my forty somthing a$$ to one of my favorite watering holes and enjoy some "stress free" football, get served ice cold beer by some hotties and eat food that is very, very bad for you.

Enjoy your wedding because if I were on the guest list, I would certainly be sending you my regrets. No offense of course and by the way, CONGRATULATIONS!

    GO BILLS!

  2. Why would Giants be interested? Boss has filled in beautifully for Shockey, with many saying he's better.

Why are they interested? Boss was a 5th round pick in 2007 who could benefit from the leadership and mentoring of TG. Other than lack of experience, Boss has solid intangibles (I wish we had picked this guy up but Buffalo had traded that pick away and in the round prior, got Wright). But if the Gints could pick up TG for the right price, he would provide another veteran target for Eli.

  3. I would give a 3rd and 7th for him. Even at his age, we would still get great value in return for the aforementioned picks based upon his leadership and playmaking abilities. However, TG probably will have some input in where he goes. KC's management and he have had a great relationship. I think the Giants are the front runners at this point based upon their super bowl win last year and their numbers this year. They also have several picks to play with. I see him going to the Giants. If they can't get the deal done, I think we have a very good shot at picking him up as the other contenders are certainly "pretenders".

  4. Hope I did this right. Looks like you rock the house!

Quick question. Have you ever actually EATEN Flutie Flakes? I did, about 10 years ago.

Nice name, but they really....er.....sucked. Sorry for the ineloquence.

    LOL

Great article! I have four boxes of UNOPENED Flutie Flakes in my basement. I have to agree with yourself and others that after eating some from the one and only box I opened, it tasted like

  5. Another way to think of it, perhaps, is that he's somewheres around June (?). July? August? Certainly not October. I'm not defending the fact that he pulled a bonehead move - he should be speed-dialing another agent. THAT move certainly backfired. But here we are, right? The guy didn't get into playing shape when the rest of the team did, and he's now an albatross.

Hang in there. He'll be crushing people by the Jets/Pats* series.

But you can kiss that contract good bye, Jason. You've been a naughty, naughty boy.

Well put! Up until now, Peters has been the Albatross around the Bills neck. Given more time, he will be back in form...but that new contract is in the distant future Jason! Your agent is a piece of :wallbash: and it will take allot of pro bowl caliber play out of you before you get back into the good graces of your fellow players and the "12th man".

    GO BILLS!!!

  6. IMO, it's the culture of treating athletes like Gods. All of their lives they get away with :wallbash: . If they get bad grades in school they are fixed so they can keep playing. If they rape a girl it's covered up or everyone shames her and doesn't believe her. It's a football player and she wanted it.

In Texas a backup football player ran over a goth kid and then backed over him to make sure he was dead. A girl who was in the car testified the sicko laughed about while he was doing it. The jury came back with a verdict that gave him house arrest. He ended up violating that and had to go to jail. IIRC, it was approx. a two year term. A lot of people in the area were outraged by the verdict. If it had been the other way around the goth kid would be in prison for life or getting the death penalty.

If you were treated like that it would be very hard to remain humble. That's why people like Steve Tasker, Donte Whitner and Poz are amazing people.

It amazes me that all of the Beatles went through the most Godlike treatment in recent history and yet they all remained good people.

    Spot on! :worthy:

Some players can handle " the life" and others unfortunately cannot.

  7. He's also pretty upbeat if that's your thing. No problem for me.

Wolcot's OK and his coverage today was above average. Other people have been mentioned in this post whose verbal communication skills are much worse. Someone who has not been mentioned is Shannon Sharpe. I cannot understand half the things he says and he talks like he has a co@% in his mouth.

  8. Wore one of my Bills polo's on Friday, none of the locals said anything about it.

Only saw one person wearing anything that said Patriots* the entire week.

TV news covered stories like, the father that named his kid Brady and is now selling some of his season tickets just so he can afford them, and what Tom and Giselle are doing.

Great post! We knew all along that many of their fan base are "fair-weather" fans. I have noticed the same in upstate New York. I used to see people with Patsie shirts, hats, bumper stickers, etc, and have not seen much since week one. I can't wait to see how many show up for their game with us at The Ralph this year.

  9. This isn't a trap game. The Bills had their trap game last weekend, and they were able to escape. The Bills will come out gangbusters this Sunday, bury the Rams early and coast to an easy victory. They were pushed to the limit by a subpar team last week; it won't happen two Sundays in a row.

    Good point. <_<

Buffalo will be fired up for this game and our defense will be wreaking havoc once again upon a pathetic o-line and washed up qb. :o

    GO BILLS!!!!

  10. I pay waaay too much money for a hole in the wall apartment in L.A., born and raised. Oakland is an S-hole. I concur.

Most of L.A. is also a s-hole. I lived in Long Beach and Los Alamitos. Gangs, smog, crime....oh yeah, great place to live. I would not brag about paying "waaay too much money" to live in a pit like L.A.

One of the few good memories I have from there was when I saw the Bills beat the "L.A." Raiders in the coliseium when you guys had marijuanavich. Bills Backers clubs from Southern California, Nevada and Arizona filled an entire section (over 10,000 seats). Great game!
