It's been a long time coming for Arthur Moats, we saw flashes last year of the explosive pass rushing ability this young man has. Although only briefly this year,Chan saw enough to feel the need to get him on the field any way possible, thus, the ILB experiment/cross training excursion that no doubt developed the hunger in Moats to be on the field more. In light of the most recent announcement, this could be the boost this defense has been missing, I'm not sayin' that one player can make a difference, it takes 11 men all doing their jobs for good things to happen, but this is one player that loves the game with a passion and will give his all to achieve that "W". The OLB position has not had the push that Buddy and Chan anticipated so these labor pains are poised to yield unprecedented fruit in more pressure on opposing QB's. Even though Merriman wasn't able to produce on the field, how he prepared to play his position and his experience must have had an effect on the younger Moatlian One. All I can say is that I'm glad to have Arthur defending our Moats! Let the pass rush begin ....finally! GO BILLS!

Yea we got a terrible defense. Brady played something like 432 games without an interception and threw four against us. Vick threw 4 interceptions. Get a clue loser boys, there is more than one way to stop an opposing offense. I know we just were lucky 8 times in those two games.
We are one missed field goal away from being 5-0 right now. Cinci is 3-2 and right now has one of the best defenses. I wouldn't be surprised to see them give aging Pittsburg and baldemore a run for their money this year. That was not a bad loss.
Remember that we beat the Eagles even though our starting slot receiver is out for the year, our starting left offensive tackle was out and our starting WR went down in the first quarter. If we lost, then the whiners would be saying that they were expecting to hear a bunch of excuses about our poor luck. Where is the praise for winning despite these subtractions?

Not necessarily true, that changed the whole complection of the game, and the momentum to, it would have been a 1st down and more chances for the offense to score, we will never know because the refs stole it from the Bills!

Actually I sold football handicapping software. Once the game started I would buy a scalped ticket at half price and watch the game.

#1 Merriman. - Do I need to explain this?
#2 Parrish - Roscoe Parrish will be an unexpected star in this offense. Roscoe will be on Primetime, and they will have to come up with a nickname, because he will light it up. That's my call. I may be wrong, but I doubt it.
It has become clear, to me anyway
, that the type of offense Gailey wants to run is a deception/speed/quickness from the skill players and 2 second throws from Fitz. This is Roscoe's game to the letter. There will be lots and lots of WR screens, reverses, and of course, snap throws to Roscoe...all done in order to get him in space with the ball, on the move, or standing still, it doesn't really matter. Roscoe in space is the key. He is far quicker than all but a very few opposing D players, so space is all he needs to gain a serious advantage. If he is already moving in that space...then they are screwed. We all know what he can do when he is moving in space...on punt returns. The difference is: as a WR there are only 2-4 people that can actually tackle him, rather than 5-8 on a punt. There is no middle ground here. Either this approach will work, and be used a lot, or, it will fail miserably. Much depends on Roscoe himself, and whether he uses the assets he is given on each play properly.
While I agree with you on Gaileys offensive approach, deception,speed & quickness must have multiple weapons, Chan has talked about getting Spiller into space as well, and if they're both in the game at the same time, it WILL creat problems for opposing defenses!, Add Fred and 2 more wideouts and all Fitz has to do is find 1 of them in space and BOOM! The offense could be "Lights On" fun to watch. If the defense plays "Lights out", that could mean bad news for opposing Electric Companies.

This team has no chance of going 4-0. What kind of DRUGS are you taking? Did you not see the Patriots DESTROY the Jags 47-12 and the next week DEVASTATE the Bucs 31-14?? Not that the Bills have ever played very well in KC for starters... And Oakland isn't looking too shabby either... Yeah, The Bills should beat Cinci but that ain't saying much... My prediction is 1-3, 2-2 unlikely though possible...
I agree though that the Bills let themselves get "played" by Clabo... Question for you... Why would a GM not make offers to 4 or 5 players (OT's) at once to "weed out" those who are not really serious?? Guys like Doug Free, Marshall Yanda (He can play G or T allegedly), both young improving players by the way, the kind you can biuld around... There were other OT's and Guards as well... What does this say about your GM??
Do you think other teams put Pears, Wrotto and Urbik on waivers for no good reason??? The answer is they S*CK!
And Merriman is trying to come back from an extremely serious injury that has ended the careers of countless players... I wish him well too, but statistically the odds are not that good... It's difficult to make any assumptions about his play. You can hope for the best but there are no guarantees for sure...
I agree that 4-0 is improbable but you sound very negative! If you dont want the Bills to succeed, then go away, we are realists, the team needs a few more players to be legit, we know that! We will not be played by you!!!!!!!!!!!

pretty funny!!! it was against the Bungels in the pre-season, he still went out wide and almost ran himself out of the play...as usual, ....even a blind squirrell finds a nut once in a while....lol
