    Wasn't Whisenhunt he coach when they traded for Kolb? Didn't the GM consult with the coach before the trade? Whisenhunt most definatly was involved in that decision. Why would he be on board with trading for a guy that didn't fit his system? After that trade Kolb would have been given every opportunity to be the starter. I don't buy that he didn't fit Whisenhunt's system. The fact remains that Kolb has been given the opportunity to start twice by two different coaching staffs and lost the job both times.

     

    Kolb's comment that he doesn't "buy what is being sold" is dulusional. Does he think that the Blls drafted Manuel in the first round to be a back up? Of course they view Manual as the future, any suggestion to the contrary is absurd.

     

    Of course E.J. Is the future ! Kolb is here until he's ready, and if Kolb performs well enough, (i.e. wins games) , E.J. will be learning all along that journey and be ready to play lights out when the time is right!! Forget all the drama!..lets hope this is the start of something Awesome!! Go Bills

    IF, and it's an if at this time, Pettine gets this defense to play to its enormous potential and Hackett brings a wide open attack featuring never before seen talent from a Buffalo receiving corp and featuring a rookie prototype QB of the Legaues future, no way in hell do I want ANYBDY seeing any part of it 'till we spring on the perennial Division Champs Opening Sunday.

     

    Totally agree! We don't want to show them anything at all, the only video they'll have is from the vanilla preseason.

    I love it. "leaky defense". This defense was SUPPOSED to be best in the league last year. Obviously we were terrible, but if we get some swag back we should at least be halfway decent.

    Its REALLY not that bad guys. Need to sign Dansby, Pick up a SS somewhere, and then get these guys to play close to their talent level.

     

    Last year it was wandstadt...! The talent is there to be a top 15 defense, lets hope Pettine is all we hope he is..! What's up with Byrd not signing his tender? What kind of game is his agent playing?

    I actually think Philly may have jumped us if we pressed our luck and traded down too many slots in the 1st. Then we would have panicked and taken Nassib super early- we all know how that is playing out. I'm glad we didn't gamble further and got our guy. Let it play out, peeps

    I agree, everyone thinks they know better, but these days, if you snooze, you lose, way wait if you really like a guy, take him, or someone else will.. Go Bills!!!

    It's hard to tell what we really have as far as players go because we had such inept coaching last year. This year with a good Def coordinator we will see more of the potential of guys like sheppard and I think bradham is a Beast!! IMHO.

    I think they will be better...Pettine said they're gonna get after the QB, that means blitzing, something that Wandstadt did like what...? Maybe 3 times all year... its time to unleash the stampede..!

    I doubt Geno Smith will be available at 8 let alone 22.

     

    I like this plan though, pick Ogeltree at 22 and then select best available QB at 25 (Barkley hopefully).

     

    I like this except the QB will be determined by whoever is left at that point, Manuel, Nassib, Barkley, etc., 22 and 25 should be two potential starters for this team. I'm definitely Down for that scenario...

    He's only been here for what? I think it's gonna be his third year, this is his last shot, it's do it now or see ya, I hope he's finally healthy and can live up to his draft position, 2nd round right? We're all tired of the hype on this guy and in a few months we'll get the verdict..............either way Go Bills!!....

    It's obvious Buddy is done very soon... When is the question? Whaley will take over very soon, I'm thinkin after the draft. Buddy still has some strings attached so to speak..kind of there for support. I love the coaching changes, young, aggressive minded, hungry dudes that want to win! We all want forward thinking, not conservatism... That's why it's been 13 years... If all Buddy leaves us with(the baby), is getting Ralph out of the way so things can start getting done the right way, then thank you Buddy! There's no kool aid here, just optimism about the reigns being given to winning minded people from todays world, instead of some old relics from the netherworld that have one foot in the grave. All I'm sayin is that I'm hoping this reshuffled F/O, minus a few old wrinkled cards that have been replaced, or will soon be replaced by new ones, is finally free to let the necessary moves be made to bring us what we all crave..... A dominate winning team that is fun to watch.... A team that may one day bring us a championship.... Go Bills!!!

    It's not a bad thing that Brooks had an up and down day, if he was the reason for a loss, that would be one thing, but this was a win, and he got more experience, that's a good thing, I've got no complaints, he should be better next week!!!

    There are NO leaders on this team and the defense, Who is going to step up and be a leader on this awful defense?? NOBODY on this team gets fired up over the fact that the Bills are the laughing stock of the NFL. The way they play - no emotion, no fire, tells me they are just in it for the paycheck.

     

    Let' hope Kyle Moore and Nigel Bradham can light a fire under their A$$"s and right the ship... Go Bills :thumbsup:
