I get it with the evolution of culture but there's the tipping point of either some things are offensive or everything is offense.

As a dumb polack, I welcome our teams new name change.

    Because it doesn't offend me.

Also would have made for great game recap during the drought years.

    Well it offends me  MoFo.

The Seminole tribe helped create the FSU chant, chop and mascot design. The fact that others comment on it without any clue of it's origin is pretty sad.

Can you point us to a document that supports your claim?

    100% Polish.  Love it.

Call us the Buffalo Polacks for all I care.

Our new team logo is a guy holding a pussywillow branch.

How about if we call them the Dumb Polacks

I'm curious. Who is this Dan Schneider fellow? And when did he buy the Washington Football Team from Dan Snyder?

I know plenty of native Americans who liked the name Washington Redskins because they thought it honored them .. and they were glad to be represented in the NFL

Not to mention that many natives actually painted their faces red with ocher for a thousand years.. it's historical

But Cancel culture is coming for everything

If Dan Schneider was out bashing native Americans week in and week out it would be distasteful..but he's always been respectful about it and said it's about pride

I don't think there's anything nefarious with the Seminole war chant.. or the Chiefs tomahawk chop

It's just something stupid to get the fans in the game.. I really don't think there's anything nefarious behind

  4. I'm not sure the Belichick vs. Brady argument will ever die a natural death, but here's an interesting look at the Belichick-Brady dynamic.

There is an undercurrent of thought that the pair were ideally suited to creating a dynasty. The two created an insurmountable opponent, they managed to dominate the NFL for two decades.

However, that's about to change: "Brady’s pewter-clad arrival at Gillette Stadium, the place where he won 20 playoff games and raised six Super Bowl banners, will provide a visceral reminder of the biggest decision Belichick got wrong."

Ultimately, the author assumes Brady will win Sunday's game, and pins the blame on Belichick for letting Brady go too early and for placing his need for "legacy" and "hierarchy" over the continued success of the team (i.e. Brady's ability to attract high-profile free agents).

  5. During the drought I would record the games and work in the yard. At  4 p.m.,  I'd check the score. If they won, I'd sit down and watch the recording. If they lost, I'd simply delete the recording and move on the late afternoon game.

In 2019 I started watching more of the games live. Last year, I watched all of them live. I plan to watch 'em all live this year, too.

    Weaning?
