The town of Orchard Park, N.Y., has received a request to approve a drive-through marijuana dispensary at 3715 Southwestern Blvd. ... within spitting distance of the stadium. Hmmm. Could add a new twist on the stadium's name: Highmark!
Here's the link, for those of you who can get past the paywall.

I don't like the Chiefs, but screw the Bengals.

I'm sensing a trend here.

The Jadeveon Clowney-Browns relationship seems to have reached the point of "irreconcialable differences." I'm wondering if the Bills should sniff around about his availabilty for next season.
My concern: Clowney seems to be miffed that the defense isn't built around his abilities, which suggests a level of ego that wouldn't fit in with the Bills' culture.
Any thoughts?

I started the YouTube TV five-day free trial today. So far, I'm not that impressed. A lot of channels that I don't care about ... or care for. And the basic package doesn't scratch all my itches: 4K TV costs an extra $10.99 a month, movie channels are extra, too. And that's the case with my DirecTV subscription as well as most cable packages. But as far as being able to get Sunday Ticket, the devil is in the details: Depending on whether I can get Sunday Ticket without being forced to pay the $64.99 monthly fee for YTTV, I might just switch from DTV to the DTV streaming service.

According to the Wall Street Journal, it appears that Google will be the winner of the Sunday Ticket sweepstakes.

You should be able to go most anywhere really, the game is on NFL Network and it'll be the only game playing. Probably every bar will be showing it.
I figured that would be the case. I was hoping to find a joint with a bunch of like-minded fans.

I'm going to attend my grandson's graduation from Ohio State University and wonder if there's a place where my son and I can catch the Bills game on Saturday night. Thx in advance.

It's looking like the Tua we love to hate has resurfaced. Go 49ers!

Bills' Josh Allen just set a never-before-seen QB record in history (clutchpoints.com)
Just in case they do see their mistake and change it, here's the sentence....
It's a poorly constructed sentence, as Dr. K explained. The web site is simply hoping to make a zillion bucks on the backs of sports junkies, but I doubt they will ever compete with the likes of real news organizations. I'm sorry I clicked on the link.

Over the years, I've had Bills caps, T-shirts, various cereals, Hasek hot sauce and other trinkets, including a small piece of the astroturf from the stadium. However, this is my favorite (and never worn): A "Buffalo Loves Kelly" sweatshirt that I bought at the now-defunct Kleinhans store in the Boulevard Mall.

My nickname is a combination of several factors. First, my wife's nickname at work was "the woz." That was a shortened version of "the great and powerful woz," which was a riff on the Wizard of Oz's "Oz the great and powerful."
Throw in the late 1970s, early 1980s pop band Was Not Was, and it was only natural that I would be known as "notwoz."

Haha, he is insufferable at times but I've gotten used to his "I'm the smartest guy in the room ans you are an idiot if you dint agree with me" schtick so it doesn't bother me as much anymore...
Sometimes he is actually pretty funny.
You're right. He has his moments. But not enough moments for me to enjoy listening to him.

I would rather listen to work place safety rules
I'm retired. Don't need to anything workplace related.

Listening to the Schopp/Bulldog show tonight. Schopp is not on the air. He has a day off.
I find the show surprisingly listenable without Schopp and his addictions to gambling, fantasy leagues and his ego.

Trying to catch up now after a wretched baby christening. Are the Dolphins that good or the Pats that bad?
Just curious. Was the christening wretched? Or was the baby wretched. 😉

How long does the Liquor last you ? just doing the math lol
Cover 1 is worth the "donation" i wagerA couple of nights of liquor is better than an annual subscription that I don't use. 😉

There are some interesting matchups. I'll be bouncing around the following games, mostly to see which teams look promising and which ones don't. As it's the first game of the season, any given win or loss might not be that meaningful. But it will still be interesting, if only to see what the Bills' opponents look like.
Steelers v. Bengals
Pats v. Dolphins
Jags v. Washington
Giants v. Titans
Raiders v. Chargers
Pack v. Vikings -
Some advice or observations, please.
I enjoy the Cover 1 videos but wonder if subscribing to its "premium content" is worth it. It's $57 a year, which is not a burdensome amount. But if the site is more sizzle than steak, that $57 might be better spent at the liquor store.
Thoughts?

This is me at my most caustic and cynical, but I don't think his family is a high priority for him.

Earlier today I was thinking about Ezra Castro a/k/a "Pancho Billa." I'm sorry he can't be with us to savor the excitement.

Favorite season of the Allen era?

I didn't realize that the Allen era was over. Personally, I think the best is yet to come.
