  1. The Iggles look just as good as Dallas so far, IMO. They very nearly took that game in Dallas and the Cowgirls still have to travel to Philly later.
  2. Jax just blew another 6 point 4th quarter lead. They still have 1:07 to do something about it.
  3. To add to that, take away the 84 yard TD pass and the Raiders didn't have a SINGLE drive over 27 yards. Twenty seven yards. I think our D did pretty damned good.
  4. I wouldn't put either of them that high, except MAYBE Hasselbeck. I like Brady/Peyton/Favre/Romo/McNabb/Roethlisberger all better than either of those guys, easily.
  5. 27 points per game is good enough for anywhere from 6th to 2nd highest scoring team each of the last six seasons (as far back as ESPN's stats go). I think I can deal with that.
  6. I take it you ignored a few posts up?
  7. There's no way to really say, but with the performance Seattle put up against the 49ers at home, I'd have to think it's likely they'd have been 0-2. As for Jacksonville, I certainly think they're much better than their 0-2 record. And for those that are curious, it's Green Bay, Tennessee, and Buffalo that are 2-0 against 0-4 opponents. Edit: fixed Jaguars' record
  8. Just playing Devil's advocate here. Make a list of 2-0 teams which have beaten opponents who are a combined 0-4 this season.
  9. Exactly. What do glasses and a name tag have to do with that?
  10. Do you not know how the Buffalo Bills got their name?
  11. Hardy's TD is nowhere near a "can't miss" play of the week.
  12. But we're 7th in the stat that counts, pts/game.
  13. Yeah, because it's so incredibly difficult to go to ESPN's NFL front page. Painful even. My tears of pain are welling up just thinking about it. Edit: Buffalo is leading the vote in NY. Take that, New York Bretts.
  14. Unless they had a viewpoint we didn't, I'm thinking the refs thought it was inconclusive and went with the call on the field. Fortunately, it was called a TD.
  15. And they're the only team in the NFL that has done so.
  16. For the hell of it, here's all the seasons we started 2-0: 1964: Finished 12-2, won AFL championship 1965: Finished 10-3-1, won AFL championship 1975: Finished 8-6, no playoffs 1980: Finished 11-5, lost divisional game 1981: Finished 10-6, lost divisional game 1982: Finished 4-5, no playoffs 1988: Finished 12-4, lost conference championship 1991: Finished 13-3, lost Super Bowl 1992: Finished 11-5, lost Super Bowl 1993: Finished 12-4, lost Super Bowl 1996: Finished 10-6, lost Wild Card game 2000: Finished 8-8, no playoffs 2003: Finished 6-10, no playoffs 2008: ??? So, this is the 14th time the Bills have started 2-0. Of the previous 13, the Bills made it to the playoffs 9 times and made it to the championship 5 times. Four years they missed the playoffs, one of which was in the strike-shortened season.
  17. Oh yeah? I guess I'll have to start logging the chatroom now.
  18. Huh? http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/features/talent 4 chose Jacksonville, 4 chose the Bills.
  19. Jacksonville had the #11 run defense in the league last year.
