we need immediate help at pass rush. Evertte Brown or Orakpo or Curry or Ray or whoever is much more valuable to us then alex mack. Rookie o-linemen, especially centers take a couple years to develop. I'd much rather sign a vet center for a couple years, and take a center in the mid rounds and develop him while we have a vet at center.

We're spoiled compared to teams like the Bengals Lions Rams etc. Good riddance. I'm not happy with keeping of Jauron, but I'm not killing myself over it. I think more then anything the personell of the team needs to be changed. Watching the primetime teams each week makes me ask myself "where are these types of players on the Bills?" The players like Jauron which means this team is always going to be playing hard and giving an effort, but now we neeed players who are ultra talented to go with the same effort. The board is wiped clean and Jauron and the rest of the organization can get back on track starting with this draft and free agent off season. I'm looking forward to 09.

I was just about to make a thread to give a shout out to JR. He has been a really nice surprise this year. He's real solid, nothing flashy, but has been incredibly reliable.

No way, we need an impact pass rusher be it defensive end with a player like Michael Johnson of GT or Brian Orapko of UT or at linebacker with someone like Aaron Curry of Wake to replace Crowell.

IMO lynch doesn't need to take as much blame as he did. Marshawn is 16th in the league in run attempts per game. For a team that has mediocre QB play at best, that is ridiculous. Marshawn should be up near the top of the league in this category with this offense. Not saying he has been amazing this season when he's gotten the ball, but last year when we all fell in love with Lynch he was top 10 in the league in carries. The people that have jumped on the bust mode bandwagon baffle me. I don't how you don't see the coincidence between the amount of times Lynch carries and his performance.

Falcons or Panthers

I hate the Jets. They are my most hated team in the NFL mainly due to rivalries I have with Jets fans. This game is the only thing I have left to root for this season. Beating them allows me talk trash to their lousy fans until they meet again next year. However, I want to see Jauron go, and I feel that at this point that the smallest positive will keep him in town next year, if he isn't back next year anyway at this point. So what to do? Which would you rather have. Knowing the JETS a team thats just as much of a fraud as we are, swept you in the regular season and hearing it for a whole year BUT meaning Jauron gets fired. Or take the split and bragging rights for the next months and there still be a chance Jauron stays next year.

Even if we win out I doubt we make the playoffs. Baltimore and Indy practically have the wc's locked up. So not only would 10-6 not get us into the playoffs, but it would mean a lower draft pick, and the keeping of DJ. I'm not rooting for the Bills to lose but I'm not going to start getting excited about the rest of this year. I'm looking forward to sitting back, and watching a select few of our promising players and see how the play the rest of the season, while not giving myself a heart attack wondering if we're gona pull out with a win each week. I don't see any FA's with enough upside to bring them in and give up on Trent. And unless Matt Stafford falls to the middle of the first round if he goes pro, I don't see any rookie QB's either. I still have faith in Trent, it's the coaching staff that I've lost patience with.

We need to do what the Dolphins did. There are very few Parcells out there, but someone needs to come in, analyze the organization top to bottom, and make changes accordingly. While we blew 2 must win games, this team is still "in the playoff hunt" and despite today where it sounds like this team has a snowball chance in hell of making the playoffs, these next 4 games IMO will officially determine where this organization goes in the off season.
