  1. Don't you think theres a good chance had we hired a bonafide OC we could be sitting in first place with Jauron as HC?

I do, and I'm not crazy about Dick Jauron, but he is a defensive minded coach. I'm not sure what he could do to fix our offense besides canning Turk Shonert mid way through the season in his first year at OC and that hardly seems fair. Even if he did, then what?

No, we can't blame this all on Jauron as much as I would like to. :)

for a defensive minded coach, he sure has missed the boat. this is one of the least physical defenses I've seen the bills execute in a long time. as far as JP{ is concerned, why pick on him, the trent "noodle arm" edwards supporters have run him out of town

  2. Edwards has the "potential" to be a good QB, within the system. Eli didn't light things up his first 3 years. Last year he was 10-6, threw 20 picks, fumbled 13 times and .... well you know. Edwards hasn't even played 2 full seasons, yet. I'm just as disappointed as anyone to see him play so badly through a bunch of games, but in all honesty, it's still early in his career. Let's see if he can bounce back to the form he showed at the beginning of this season. If not, then that's another story.

Edwards has no potential, his arm is too weak, and he's way too injury prone. I can't remember the last time I heard of a qb pulling a groin muscle

  3. I look back at the beginning of this year. I was not sure what to expect. Talent wise we are further along that un years past. I just wasn't sure we had enough depth to be a contender. I believe that is what we are seeing. Great teams overcome injuries. I am not sure Dj is the sole reason for the loses. I think since he has gotten hear people have not wanted him. He is not as animated as we think a coach should be. I see how this team talent wise has been getting better every year. I don't see the Bills firing him this year. I think next year if we can get more talent in the off season will be a defining year. This recovery process is coming along, it is just taking longer than what you and I wanted. With that all being said we are not out of it for this year. We do need to win out. That is for sure. If we win out we would be 10-6 and that is a heck of a year. If we go 9-7 that is where I thought we were at the beginning of the year. In some ways I wish we as fans were not so reactive. We have tasted some good times this year. We have tasted some bad times. But we are better than we were last year. I think we are building to be a force in the next couple years. Changing coaches is not the answer. Providing depth and talent is. TD did a lot of damage and we are still not totally recovered.

    healthy or not, trent sucks

  4. Reid - Wont get canned

    Shannahan - Won't get canned

Cowher - Cowher will want to actually get paid. Ralph is a cheapskate.

Mooch - Great coordinator, not all that impressed with his HC skills

Fassel - Great coordinator, not all that impressed with his HC skills

Garrett - If any teams came to Jerry Jones inquiring about Garrett, he'd fire Wade Phillips and promote Garrett

Schottenheimer - I could handle Martyball for a couple seasons. I don't consider him a long term HC, but he could right the ship

Brian Billick - Now that's an interesting possibility....

Billick is a very good coach, he'd be great for the Bills

  5. We need a veteran QB with experience of actually winning games. Someone to mentor Edwards. Don't laugh but Griese would be a nice choice. I don't think drafting a QB in the first is going to happen. We need a center.

Edwards doesn't need a mentor, he needs to be given his release. He has the brains, but lacks the physical tools to be in the NFL

  6. All of those are possibilities. I think if he has any choice in the matter (read: if he gets offers from them), he goes to either Minnesota or ... wait for it ... wait for it ...

    The Jets.

Consider that his style of play is relatively similar to Favre. Then consider the respect/manlove he has for Favre. Then consider that the Jets don't really have a QB developing under Favre, who's been downright bipolar re: retirement (I think he plays another year or two).

I have nothing against JP except that he didn't/doesn't fit in the system here and that the game didn't 'slow down for him' as the phrase goes.

Whether Mangini and Schottenheimer feel they can work with him is the question, but I think NY is JP's landing place.

    :)

i think they should cut that noodle arm trent and make jp the starter. Trent has turned out to be even a worse football player than I thought he'd be

  7. Inch has 700yds rushing and 7 tds. he averages way less than 4yds per. He may be one of OUR top 5 players but that aint saying much. Poz is a starter on any NFL team.

I dont question Lynchs desire. Only his ability or lack thereof.

Also dont care for the way he laughs when team is losing. He is a clown.

Lynch is twice the football play Poz is. Poz is no better than a journeyman middle linebacker
