If I were a Browns fans I’d be pretty upset about having to take on the Texans instead of the Jags. Texans remind me of the ‘21 Bengals

Just move Kincaid into Davis’ role

I still don’t understand why the clock stopped with no timeout taken after the 14 yard first down scramble. The explanation was the defensive holding call. Couldn’t they just decline the 5 yards to force the last timeout. That was a huge mistake by McD to not decline the penalty. Could have ran the clock way down before the 4th and 1.

On a positive note we held them to about 4 first downs 50 yards after their second TD.

Defenses have been crowding the box - Allen needs to go deep early and often now that the playoffs are locked up.

Even more impressive was when last year in the Chiefs game during the first quarter he said "this is going to be a 24-20 type game"
At the end of the game when KC crushed TB in 2020 to send TB to about .500 Romo said he thinks we see the teams meet again in February. Thought he was nuts- 1

Having Shefield out there more than Diggs (if Diggs isn't injured) is concerning since Sherfield is hot TRASH!
I mean, why Sherfield over Shakir???? I was screaming at McD through my TV to "GET THAT MOTHER ***** OFF THE FIELD!!!!"
defenses don’t even cover him, Joe Marino showed how Allen’s Pats interception occurred when the safety declined to be moved by sherfields route. In the Philly game. He was totally mugged but so disrespected by the refs no flag came. -
If Steelers and jags win, should be collude with the dolphins to tie, surprised I have not seen that one yet.

How do we know if a receiver had separation without knowing the play call?
Well, if he has separation…
Perhaps you mean the threat of him running? but just FYI, this chart excludes receivers who got open on scrambles.
Count the players above and below Allen.
There are 5 starters below Allen. The rest are backups and spot players.there are 14- 17 QBs below Allen and about 3 got the starting job due to injury, one of these 3 was minchew (I guess a backup or spot player) who has started basically the whole season and is about to lead his team to the playoffs. The chart only shows the Bills as being middle of back in terms of separation not bottom of the league as suggested by the OP.

The chart seems to say we are middle-of-the-pack in separation. I don’t see where you are getting 27th out of 32 in separation.

Two seasons ago raiders chargers week 18 almost ended in a tie, similar situation, except both would be in and not out I recall.

Am I the only one who thinks there is a real chance he retires this spring?
Making the most money he possibly could out of that last contract was extremely important to Von. If Von’s play just deteriorated to this low level solely due to age, I would be the first one calling for his retirement. However, the fact is that a major injury caused this decline. Injury is the main reason players negotiate for guaranteed contracts. So, Von will get his money and there is nothing that can be done about it. -
Bills chances of beating Miami increase if the Steelers and Jags win imo. In almost every single case Allen has needed to bring the team down the field this year he has done it. FG v the Jets to force OT, twice against the Jags to keep us in it, twice against the Pats, against the Broncos, fourth quarter v the Bengals, twice against the Eagles, giants in the second half, chargers last drive. The offense is at its best when desperate and backed against a wall.

Don’t they need to sign Brown. If he is a mid level starting tackle, what is that, about 8 per?

The team has much more of a gambling big play defense this year that emulates the style of defense that has won the most recent several super bowls, as well as a running game. Like their chances

92 yards away from 10,000. Still can’t get over that Moulds finished with a career 9,995

AJ mcKarran was the bridge QB but they realized he was awful - not any better than the flyer on the roster Peterman so they dumped mcKarran just before week 1. Bills were in the market for other bridge QBs but mcKarran ended up as their choice somehow, maybe because he was the cheapest.

in ‘92 Bills had the 1 seed locked up at 12-4 with a win at the Oilers, but lost and had to play the next week as the 5 hosting the Oilers.

There are oline situations that are complete disasters. The jets situation may be even below these. They are going to have to unload a defensive asset or two in order to give Rodgers any kind of shot next year.
-
I was originally angry about the possibility being out of the playoffs with a loss but now I am have warmed up to it. Bills likely need the 2-seed to make a realistic run at the Lombardi this year, and if they don’t get in they get to draft #18, which has been the sweet spot for drafting a #1 wr.
