I hate that you make some great points here.  But if so many doctors agree that the video seems to indicate ACL tear, I just want to know where and how the heck Rappaport and others in media got their reports so quickly that it was a “sprain” most likely.

Great question. I really don’t know.  Maybe they rush to get things out for clicks as it’s there JoB?  One sure thing , if someone’s paycheck depends on getting info out , they might not be able to be trusted?     It’s possible that’s all the Bills want to be leaked ?  Mcd likes keeping things close to his chest so I wouldn’t trust any info until the mri results are in. There is no real repercussion if Rap is wrong!

Gosh , I hope it’s best case and just a sprain. One thing about Drs is they are conditioned to always look at the worst case scenario. It’s like set expectations low and then If things are good , you look better delivering great news. Worst case for a dr is to say the Mcl  is just sprained and if it’s torn , you look incompetent and it’s a good way to get sued in real life. That’s why they tell you every  possible bad thing before even the most common surgery.  Then when things go good , the surgeon looks great .  Never give false hope!  A neurosurgeon never tells or promises full recovery because any result less and you will get sued.  So it’s Juarez Dr speak , but thet are trained sports medicine guys and they spend literally years studying mechanisms of injuries. And treating those injuries. So I think they have a level if insight way beyond Rap who is only reporting what he has been told. So , honestly , it looked suspicious fir more than a sprain. But no one knows ( the field Dr probably knows as you test the laxity between the two knees. If the acl  is torn, the tibia ( lower leg) slips forward when pulled moreso than the other knee with an intact acl. )   Other than that only an mri will be  100%. The guys are just offering educated opinions based on similar experiences but they can’t know until the MRI is read.  MAYBE RAP SPOKE TO THE TEAM  ORTHO WHO DID THE FIELD EXAM AND REASSURED RAP the acl was not torn!  Just hard to fathom Rap has that type of access to the team Dr.    That would be great news. It just LOOKED  suspicious for a tear, but only an MRI is  definitive. Hope that helps.

F**k all of the video docs diagnosing injuries. I’ll wait for the real thing.

I understand, however medicine is based on years of educated guessing , observation , and most injuries have similar mechanisms responsible for their pathology. For example, if you see a guy coughing badly with sputum or shortness of breath , it’s a realistic bet a pneumonia is POSSIBLE!  These guys have years of experience and let’s face it , acl tears have common signs and symptoms.and stresses that cause them. Of course no one can DIAGNOSE it 100% correctly without an imaging study , mri in this case. But he is a board certified Dr in sports medicine. That’s all he does. Acl tears and ankle injuries are the most common sports injuries.  That’s like saying a pediatrician can’t recognize a diaper rash! , or a dentist  can’t recognize a cavity. Or a gynecologist can’t recognize a ,,,,well you get the point!   But just a dr saying it doesn’t make it fact !😊

I’m as upset as you are but no reason to shoot the messenger. Could he be wrong , could von  just have a lax ACL and this is just a partial tear or sprain of the MCL only.?  Yes , but sadly the odds don’t favor that. Your tibia is not supposed to slide forward and back relative to the femur. Add in Vons dismay ( a guy I have not seen without a smile even after a loss ) and it seems reasonable to make a very educated guess. This is not Romo adding his opinion. This rash of injuries is unbelievable. I don’t know how , but if the Bills overcome losing two pro bowl leaders on D ( hyde and von) , it might be their greatest coaching season in Bills history!  Mcd , Frazier, Dorsey all have to be almost perfect going forward. No time to feel sorry , it is what it is and we are back in a familiar role , UNDERDOGS! Go Bills, SOMEHOW MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Because yeah, this needs its own thread.

That was a AAAA rip; Arm, Accuracy, Anticipation, Arrogance

I didn't have sound but apparently Romo said that only about 5 guys in the history of the NFL could make that throw.

    Who are they?

    John Elway

    Aaron Rodgers

    Dan Marino

    Steve Young

    maybe Michael Vick?

Farve , maybe Cunningham    Mac jones 15 yards at a time &  Brady if  Giselles lawyer is walking across the field! 😀

Gonna go ahead with this thread mid-game for obvious reasons .

This guy is a very good sports medicine Dr   He’s right  the tibia is held from sliding  forward relative to the femur by throwing ACL   The knee bends , slides before there is much congsct after von plants and tries pushing forward at an angle  He knows  what an acl feels like , and his concern , disappointment pretty much tells us he prob felt it pop  The medial stress happens as the play finishes  It would be a real lucky blessing if it’s just an mcl , but I’m afraid the Dr is right  probably an acl and this snake bitten year continues

It’s ironic how much talk there was about players complaining about this stadiums turf and incidence of acl injuries  Despite the record , this season is turning in to one to forget   Can’t replace talent like Hyde, Miller, white, poyer ( who is not.100%). Add Josh with his suboptimal arm , Morse and groot , and edmunds , Davis all sub optimal and a promising season is being derailed

I can’t remember a season like this ; most talented , perhaps most injured roster in recent memory !  Cowboys may be headed to face KC in the SB    Bills had a hard time getting sacks with Von, as epenesa , boogie are average  Oliver , groot , Milano are our best finishers, and not  sure that’s enough  or Frazier will change and rush more guys   That worked on Geoff today  Wish von the best  or he might not be active till mid next year  Going to draft  another DE this year! 🥲

  5.      Olsen is just as boring and just throws out platitudes. Romo has quickly gotten stale. His comedic schtick is just not funny any longer. I mean , is this guy worth millions to listen too?  Compare to madden , summeral, Michael’s, Harlan, Gus Johnson , and these athletes turned announcers are novelties for a year or so.  Soon  their lack of broadcasting skills comes thru and they can only explain so many plays.  Is Tom Brady going to be worth 30 mil to hear?  He is boring and monotone all the time and they all are afraid to burn bridges with teams or players because they don’t want to burn their gravy train. Brady will kiss a## like usual.  Who turns in just to hear an ex player; while plenty turn the sound off to avoid the cliche diatribe. They just come across as intern broadcasters milking their sport when they are already millionaires and don’t have the passion that young, upcoming broadcasters do. Do you think they have  more passion to play the sport, or just talk about it!?

They have no pressure to excel because they already have FAME and money and they are not hungry.  Bring in new talent , not guys we have already heard for years drone on at their pressers. Stick to a few min on pregame or podcasts and bing in fresh voices! . Romo is a sarcastic joke now and he just diesnt seem sincere or passionate!  He is more interested in funny quips than being creative and bringing something new to his “ analysis”. .  I just can’t fathom how much these has- beens get paid to be bland  !  Yeah , I’m tuning in to fox to listen to Brady who I hated as a smart a$$ and whiny B for 20 years already !  Lol.   Chris Spielman was a. Athlete who did excel at broadcasting and added to the booth. I do miss him. Brady will be a male Beth Mowins , and I hate insulting her that way!  😀

  6.      Augie, my thoughts are with you. Bless you and your mom and family.  I can empathize. My 96 year old mom ,:who still lives alone at home and can drive her car , just got out if the hospital ( she and my 76 year old sister who is married, both still live in southeastern Ohio in the Steubenville area, about 30 min from Pittsburgh and where  Dean Martin was from, but also is very cold during the winter)   For a bad episode of congestive heart failure. Luckily she is doing better , and my sister lives close enough to stop by when roads permit. But my sister just had a large surgery on her leg for recurrent melanoma ( sister was a teacher for 40 years who sunbathed in the summers off and oiled and cooked herself in the 60’s /  70’s before sunscreens we’re widely used ) and can’t  go pick up my mom now so thanksgiving my mom will be alone as she lives out in the country.

To top it off I just turned 65 in July but a strange Medicare snafu fir this year splits my part b , which covers Drs visits , so it won’t kick in till 1/1;23, even tho part A started on 7/1/2022, my birthday month.   Hours on the phone with Medicare / SS didn’t resolve it. After 5 discs collapsed in my neck( no trauma , just aging I guess) my  urgent neck surgery was unsuccessful in returning feeling to my arms and hands and my balance is off , so I had to finally give up seeing patients in person after 40 years in medicine. Never thought I would miss working or being on call for Thanksgiving. I live in Jax , fl , and I can’t fly up to see my fam for the holidays as my cervical cord is still impinged and I’m  not supposed to lift more than 10 LBs cuz that pressure gets transferred to my neck and when I tried  lifting more , I begin losing motor function in my hands and left leg. Was supposed to have more surgery but tragically my neurosurgeon, who is responsible for me at least still being able to walk, rolled his suv crushing him and he is now a quad! I swear you can’t make this tragedy up.  So this Thanksgiving is the first  I can remember as my 96 year old mom will be spending alone as neither my sister or I can travel to be with her and with her recent CHF, she is not supposed to do much or be out in that bitter cold in Ohio right now.

just wishing all you here good health, as it’s no cliche that good heal means everything ! Enjoy Time with your families and loved ones , as you never know when life can suddenly turn. Enjoy Thanksgiving and the Bills together and while we all want the Bills to win , the important thing is creating another memory of being together!  Happy Thanksgiving, and go Bills!

  7. Saw him live and am old enough to have experienced his peak career time. Was pretty funny and live show was great as long as you didn’t sit close to the stage!   Was a family type show as far as I remember , certainly not edgy or vulgar and didn’t attack lifestyles etc. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy   This and losing the guy who played lebeau ( French chef guy of hogans hero’s , does makes me sad. Had seen Robin Williams in Vegas not long before his death. It’s like losing parts of your own life as these icons and larger than life people that were legit celebrities move on to something better I can only hope and pray for. They provided moments of relief and laughs and I am thankful they were a part of my memories. Time flies and it really is too short.  Bless them , and I pray you all enjoy your own health as long as you can prolong it so you can keep enjoying the Bills, your family and friends, great holidays, and even some more beautiful snowfalls!  😊🍸

I feel like this goes back to the Houston playoff game.  The Bills seem to give up more 3rd and double-digit yards than any team I've seen.

Note: this is not a scientific observation.  There are probably stats for this, but I don't know where to find them.

But man, does it seem like that's a bad down for us. I feel more confident when the other team has 3rd and 5 than 3rd and 14.

    What gives?  Am I overreacting?

Not overreacting!  Our dbs are terrible tracking the ball , rarely make PBU’s , drop too far off receivers and give up the first down marker , then are poor tacklers with bad pursuit angles.  There’s a reason they currently are all low round draft picks.  We miss poyer, hyde , white , and even Elam should be better. Currently we lack a #1 cb or shut down corner so we get exposed on these long distance downs , esp as our line can’t get home to finish sacks either. Bad situation. Frazier can’t keep sitting back until we beat healthy, or this will continue.

Of course this bad week (not practicing enough and illness) didn’t help, but there’s something wrong with our passing game.. with Josh.

    He doesn’t seem himself.

He just needs confidence back. This is on dorsey. Diorsey  allowed the browns to take Diggs out. That’s unacceptable. The route tree is terrible , too congested , poor spacing. On the all 22 Josh has no open receivers. Dorsey needs to keep running,, get Hines involved as out #2 has a 17% drop rate, and be more creative with formation ( once today he actually did put Diggs in the backfield forcing a time out by the Browns! ) and motion and Josh will have more open guys. Do quick slants so Josh has no reads and csn just drops and throw so he gets confident. This is in Dorsey’s hands and mind!

To be fair … Before his miracle catch at the end of the game

He only had like a few catches after his insane start to the game…

We schemed to take him out

Well you can’t SELECT which catches you want to consider. 193 yards , career high so far , is not taking him out. Diggs hasn’t had that much yardage in a game , or if he did he surely wouldn’t br complaining on the sideline to Mcd!  That is being fair!  Lol. If that’s our best d scheme to take him out we are really going no where.  He did get taken out by Dallas today tho. That’s he same argument everybody uses about the run D ; well , if you take away the 81 yard td run our run defense was fantastic. Unfortunately there is a thing called a scoreboard and it isn’t selective about what counts. Why not just discount a whole quater, I’m sure our d would look great!

Not being argumentative, but teams are scheming to take Diggs away and it’s working more as we go along. I’m just saying dorsey meeds to scheme more with motion , like today he put Diggs in the backfield and the Browns immediately burned a time out because they Chas no scheme for that.  So Dorsey needs to be more proactive with formations , motion which are much harder to cover Diggs and then he won’t have to complain to Mcd    We have to do more as our other receivers, esp Davis withal 17% drop rate , are so far disappointing and unproductive. How much productivity did we get from the slot or McKenzie today?  Zip as far as I know. That’s not a successful offense. Kc is the model of success, winning another from behind, and we better be able to out score them. 😊👍

I think this was one of McDermott's finest moments.  I have long been a skeptic that he will be good enough to win a SB.  Today I thought there was a chance he could have lost the team and the season.  The defense was getting gashed and our superstar QB was playing scared.  The superstar WR was coming off the field obviously upset at how the game was going.

His calm nature served the team well today.  Yes we all snipe at his clapping but it was precisely what the team needed today.  Instead of getting into a shouting match with Diggs or dismissing him to the bench, he spoke to him like an adult.  No one will know what was said, but you could tell from Diggs reaction he felt heard and understood.  That is a trademark of great leadership.

When the Bills hoist the Lombardi trophy at the end of the year, the season recap will highlight this game and that moment that turned around the season!

Great points about Mcd and I agree!  But unless he can get Dorsey to step up with more creativity , this roster isn’t  Super Bowl bound. 6 fgs won’t keep cutting it and it’s a critical sign the red zone offense is ineffective. Can’t have your #1 reciever almost totally taken out of a game ,; didn’t happen  to Jefferson did it from the Vikings?  Dorsey did some better with run game today , but he hasn’t gotten creative with Hines at all and route tree is terrible with poor spacing. Receivers aren’t open.  Mcd did save the season for  the moment , but Thursday  is still critical and after watching how Reid is so creative  with his offense and use of young players , unless Mcd can bring more out of Dorsey, I fear we won’t win the East or move on in the playoffs as a wildcard. Chiefs are once again holding on to home field and we know how that goes if we have to go there twice in a year.

injuries on D are killing this team so it comes down to maximizing our O production. If Mcd can get that across to Dorsey , and there are some signs he did as Dorsey stuck with run game today, we may have a chance. They have to solve these red zone issues tho. But like you pointed out , Mcd was masterful today , saved this game , and we still have a chance. Many  analysts are picking fins to win the East now , Bills to be a 4 or lower seed and if that happens despite todays great Mcd performance , it might be a failed, wasted year.   Hoping Mcd can have his best year , and not be outperformed by a first year coach Lin Miami. Let’s see how Mcd gets us thru Thanksgiving, as Detroit comes in on a 3 game winning streak. Another huge challenge , let’s go Bills!

Definitely critical. Played a great game today. Tre should be back Thursday and our secondary will continue to improve.

Tre will not be back Thursday. No medical issues change in 4 days so if he didn’t play today why would he Thursday.? Brown and Wood were critical ON AIR today so fo pr them to say something is huge. It was stated an insider reporting he is not wanting to play on turf ; if this has any truth other than just not wanting his first return to be on turf, it could be career changing regarding the Bills. Some smoke means there is fire somewhere. Even if he returns , he won’t be t6e same immediately. We have no #1 cb and it’s showing with brisett getting ove 300 yards , good QBs will kill this defensive backfield. Poyer still playing hurt, can’t cover everyone. Bills coaches are obviously growing increasingly frustrated with Tre or that stuff doesn’t get to Brown  and Wood! 😊

  13. There has been a plethora of simple and high ankle sprains and even one ankle fracture ( crowder) this year. It’ SEEMS unusually high and I am wondering why this is almost a weekly occurrence.  Perhaps an athletic certified trainer can comment , but this seems like one type of injury you could better prevent. Better taping techniques, better use of shoe type and even use of ankle splints/supports that fit in shoes and limit lateral and medial movements at the ankle mortise / talar joint area.   Just seems like this lauded group of trainers could decrease the numbers of ankle injuries going on.   Would be interested in ideas from guys with experience as I don’t think we are seeing this league wide.

Going to be tougher week if Morse, groot, epenesa all are out against Lions who are on s three game win streak. We can’t afford losses hanging on to a wildcard spot in the playoffs in a year with a talented roster ( tho now this receiving corp.may have been very overrated).Any thoughts on ankle injury prevention? Thx!

Not a thing and Stef was right to complain.  I think they were 6 minutes from the half and he hadn't seen a single target on a sputtering offense.

    Inexcusable.

True. Dorsey’s play designs are still an issue. He has to get our #1 receiver the ball. Other teams , like the Vikings , don’t let their top receiver be taken COMPLETELY out of a game.

Hmm, what is Highmark stadium turf,,,?  If this is actually something, maybe he us just referring to his first game back, as otherwise it’s a career changing issue. Time will tell , but if true this would be very hard to work around as the new stadium is years away. Have to to think it just refers to first game back.

10 defensive backs against a run-first team? Odd.

Yeah I was thinking the exact same thing ,,,,Frazier always being creative!  They just said Watson played Allen for the Browns in practice this week. How insulting , couldn’t be two totally divergent guys    But yep, all those dbs will really be great nailing Chubb today. This game and Thanksgiving are up in the air now.

Cower really nailing Josh on him pressing and throwing all the ints.  It’s another reason this game is possibly an L today if we keep the turnovers going on. Josh has 5 of his 10 ints throwing to Gabe. Davis has a 14% drop rate !  Team playing shaky and now all the travel Etc is distracting. Hope we can pull these two out

It feels to me like it’s Tre’s people telling him to take it slow. Coaches seem frustrated at this point.

I’m sensing his reluctance to get back out there ; Starr realized he had lost his passion for the game and his level of play never returned after his long Covid absence.  It’s a fact , the longer a worker is out from injury , the less likely they are to return. What’s bad about being financially set and just working out with the team , and not having to get beaten up every week.?  Have to admit it is possible Tre is looking at things differently now. I still think he will be back but if Brown/ Eric wood were actually critical on air , that does say something as those guys never are that critical of players and Browns career is at stake if he says the wrong things about the Bills players.  Heat is getting turned up !

I hear you but Cooper can certainly burn the Bills. Peoples can get some big plays too. It's not like the Bills aren't missing Hyde, Poyer, and Tre. Don't kid yourself injuries have made this Bills defense beatable. Add in a banged up Edmunds and Milano not practicing. The injuries are taking its toll. The Packers pounded the Bills with the run, the Jets ran 8 straight times from their 6 yard line in a 4th quarter critical drive, and Jefferson destroyed the Bills while Cook rattled off an 81 yard TD. Not to mention how many 3rd and 4th and longs were converted by the opposition. Folks, lets see the defense for what it is. Due to injuries, this team is a shell of itself. No one should feel confident the Bills D can stop Chubb. Heck, Zack Wilson bottom tier QB made enough plays to win.

All really valid points and it’s the reality of a 6-3 team.   Throw in the lack of practice this week , a terrible red zone offense, a team unable to adjust enough to score any tds after half for 3 games, a ROOKIE OC whose tendencies are being exposed , Allen in an int slump while also dealing with an elbow issue, WR’s other than Diggs underperforming and Knox also not producing as expected , an inconsistent almost nonexistent run game from the backs who also struggle with ball security issues, our inability to find much use for Hines after trading for him, add in a D line that still struggles to actually get sacks on players like Wilson and Cousins that results in those  long distance down conversions you mentioned, and I wouldn’t be shocked if Cleveland makes enough big run plays to pull off an upset.

We didn’t get to 6-3, being 3 rd inthe east and 0-2 in the division by being an unbeatable team.  This team, as it now stands , is no where near the team that started the season, and a big part of that is missing Hyde and White unexpectedly from the backfield. This d can’t be.counted on to hold leads currently and I expect Frazier to run the same packages as always despite facing Chubb because of the lack of practice time.  Cleveland just has to stick with their run game and the Bills have shown they will blow gap coverage at some point as Frazier’s scheme repeatedly ends up with 7 guys responsible for 8 gaps,  if you have seen and buy into the good analysis by cover1.

The Bills are facing an unexpected challenge and to win they have to correct all the offensive production woes regarding their  second half slump and red zone miseries, while also trying to stop the top back in  the league  with an error prone defensive squad riddled with injuries.  It would be a huge confidence builder and spring board for the remainder of the season if they turn all this around and get back to looking like the team that began the season. If anybody can pull this off, I would bet McD could, so it will be interesting to see how he does. IMO, it’s hard to see this as a blowout win a lot of fans are predicting. Any win given all that is going on would be fantastic. Go Bills. 😊

So maybe no practices Wednesday, Friday and Saturday?!  That’s just wonderful before a big game.

Wow, what a rough period for this team.  The o is performing badly after halftime and they needed work on the red zone and offense in general. Injuries , illness, ,now missing practices and losing a home game followed by a short week. I have to admit my confidence in this situation for the team has taken a big hit. You can only  tolerate so much and the obstacles get to be too much , like a straw that breaks the camels back situation. This is a huge distraction and they are playing a team whose offense is built to go against one of this D’S weaknesses.  The season could be on the edge here if they happen to drop one or two close games. Wishing for the best but odds  are really stacking against the team. Bad time for a slumping team to lose a home game , have extra traveling and the distractions around this terrible storm.

Having been thru two hurricanes coming close to my home recently , and being from Ohio and faced snow storms growing up , my thoughts and prayers are with all you on the board being affected. Watching the Erie county warnings on YouTube and things look really tough there. Two people have already died with MI ‘s ( heart attacks) shoveling snow up there according to the Sheriff’s office and county health officials at their 3 pm briefing.  If you have any cardiac issues , please stay away from shoveling as the cold and exercise really increase the risk of sudden cardiac death.  Be careful with generators because of carbon monoxide poisoning.   Stay safe off the roads and stay snuggled in safe with your families.  Nothing is worth going out and losing your life over, so be wise and stay inside  !

Best wishes, thoughts and prayers with you guys as you go thru this dangerous storm.  Hopefully , things will ease off by game time so you can at least watch it safely in your homes up there. This is really turning out to be a season of challenges and if they somehow make it out with two wins , it really could help propel them to big things. It unfortunately could just as easily go the other way, and we could see a promising start crash to a halt. . Mcd is pretty good at crunch time with holding the team together thru adversity, so hopefully things go well, but it’s becoming a difficult lift.  Go Bills, stay safe ! 😊👍

Those were both blown plays by Allen imo…although there’s probably plenty of evidence of suspect playcalling by Dorsey I’m sure.  Peterson is kind of full of sh*t there lol

allen had gabe in the back of the end zone for a likely td with minimal risk of anything worse than an incompletion and he completely missed the throw.
The route concept was perfect  against that defense and Peterson was beat by a step

the sneak I still believe was the right call Allen just botched that one too…doesn’t at all matter that they telegraphed it.  When have you seen a sneak lose a half yard in nfl history even if the defense is loaded up to stop it and that’s before you could even get leverage from someone pushing from behind.   I think Allen was looking ahead and trying to take away some of the potential difficulty of the following play on the off chance they lost some fraction of a yard and he tried to run before securing the snap.

Fumble was 100% on Allen , it’s obvious as the ball hit him I the hands as he was trying to go to the right.  My issue is lack of awareness by gabe about the fumble and as you mentioned , it’s obvious with the motion when the snap is coming.  Dorsey is not adjusting to his own tendencies.

The pass play just didn’t need to even be called at that point. We were driving the ball and we had time.  Dorsey giving up on the run is to common and he is interested in “ balance” of playcalling, not really staying focused or sticking with what has been working or going on in the game.  If Dorsey’s play calling was good , we wouldn’t have gone 3 games without a td in the second half.   Those route are  concepts , if you watched Eric’s video, have not been perfect. They look terrible, predictable, unimaginative, and the spacing between players is repeatedly so poor that they are dragging defensive players into the plays!   It’s gone on for at least 3 games now. Allen gies thru the progressions , most of the time no one is open and they are not good enough scrambling to make up for covered routes and Allen is getting hung out to dry.

We won’t beat quality teams with the offense being called and executed like it is now.  Other than Diggs , no one is making plays in the red zone and Dorsey keeps refusing to run consistently.  This looks like a hot mess right now. Mcd better realize this as well in the red zone and quit giving up fgs and take the points when available. Being up 13 in this game would have sealed things. People focused on it still only being two possessions for the vikes to tie , forget we could have been under less pressure and added a second fg perhaps , either keeping or retaking the lead unless the vikes got 2 tds with 2, 2 point conversions.

The coaching decisions are losing games. Unless they suddenly reverse these offensive failures in the second half , this team is in trouble regarding the playoffs. Even if they make it they have will most likely have lost home field advantage once more and that’s a shame.  I don’t see them running the table or the rest of their afc east schedule unless Dorsey improves , Davis improves his consistency, they run better , and both White & Poyer return and stay healthy.  There is just too much talent in the division and the Chiefs and Titans are coming on again and we likely would end up playing them once again away from Buffalo.  injuries and Dorsey’s inexperience as an OC I think have probably derailed this teams SB run without all those changes I mentioned happening. It could be another “ learning “ season under Mcd , but it didn’t have to go that way if Dorsey was more creative.  Hope They turn it around , but I’m not counting on it unless  they prove they can control the next two winnable games.

Just further shows how unprepared the defensive coaches were yesterday.

As I have said in other posts regarding another Mcd historical loss, this seems systematic of the “ process” having not solved some basic communication errors over the Mcd tenure.  Every year we see a spectacular  situational football error, this time the fumble, not drilling into Josh we had a tie with the ability to be patient ( receivers were open underneath or he could have run) in OT, and now this with 12 men on the field. Other teams don’t seem to experience so many losses with blown leads or by committing huge gaffs during the game ; eg yesterdays multiple gaffs , hail Murray, 13 seconds etc., inability to run the ball ,calling all passes on 2 nd and 2.   It just keeps mounting.

These are embarrassing I would think if you are a professional organization ; you don’t think of the Pats doing this type of thing during their period with talented rosters. All teams have rebuilding times but these memorable mistakes are going on during a period with the most talent in 20 years and supposedly during our SB “ window”.  I don’t have the answers , and I’m paid like I don’t! Lol !  But there are guys being paid who should have the ability to have learned and fixed these issues.  We always get Monday morning qb answers From this staff  after each crazy loss; “ we obviously want that back “ etc.  Is that still acceptable 6 years in ; shouldn’t they have faced most situations you might run into as they ascended the coaching tree?

I really like Mcd and his culture , Beane as well.  Frazier has great stat D’S , but many times they don’t play to their statistical dominant level at critical times. Dorsey , looked good early, but may be having issues adjusting with no 2 nd half tds since KC !  I hope they can correct course , learn as they keep telling us from these situations.  But I’m starting to see cracks in how this team is situationally prepared and performing that just keep recurring.
The big question is do you believe this staff can win when it counts, in the SB , where errors are magnified ? The injury bug has played a large role , but Mcd is losing to staffs with much less experience and that’s concerning. They can turn this around; they should have the talent to do so , but they have run out of excuses for memorable mistakes.  I think this is a critical time for this year, and maybe for some or a majority of this staff. I am losing faith with each bungle that they have the coaching talent to win a SB and this leagues longevity is result dependent. Last half of the season may be a fair judge about this staff.
