    Hard with shorter legs.

He is a free agent next year and it would not hurt for him to work with Don Beebe House of Speed which will teach him how to best utilize what he has.

Don was on a podcast on YouTube this week with prior guy who was in Bills front office ( sorry I forget name off top of my head ). It was a great interview. He said he ran his 40 in a pair of “ fishing shoes , one with a loose flap”.  Being from small school he had no agent , no new shoes , lucky to be at combine!  He ran with the defective shoes and later it was either polian who told him his time ( or a scout who ended up leaving him the stop watch he was timed with as sadly the guy passed and don still using that stop watch to time his players he coaches now!) and  Don said his time was 4.23 !   Beebe said he is mostly remembered for the Leon Lett play. Guy is amazingly humble and faith based!  Worth the 40 min listen. 👍🎄

Last week was terrible and tonight was just as bad. This defense especially the DB's have gotta improve.  They made Mostert look like Barry Sanders. Our entire D just didn't look inspired tonight.

Poyer said exactly those things in post game presser.  “ we need to improve , tackle better, and there are things we want back”.  So that’s from an elite , pro bowl safety.  But this is apparently inappropriate to even discuss any negatives the players themselves mention.  Stats are great , but mean nothing in an individual game ; any given Sunday ( or Saturday 😊) right?
Based only on stats we should have never been behind , right, but stats do not reflect individual situations , just a later overall picture. Is that incorrect?  But I guess any critique , even those validated by players and coaches , are not appropriate discourse? I think there is a name for only tolerating one ideology, one train of thought. I believe there are countries based on that principle  , but I could be wrong as I am only human. The d did make some good stops at the end under pressure, so that’s good! 😀👍

Happy holidays, stay safe , please value your health as it can be fleeting!  Go Bills, happy Sunday to enjoy the win! 🎄

Poyer, I can see.  That’s my dude.  But he’s a safety.

edmunds- I wouldn’t argue about who’s better.  Both similar talents playing different positions.  Both stars now.

white-  Rousseau is clearly the better player based on their play this year….and that’s what I’m talking about.  Play this year.  Rousseau has been a game changer.  White hasn’t.

i say this because I’ve focused on solely him and rewatched every snap he’s taken since returning from injury.  He’s made massive strides since last year.  Unless you really focus on him, I don’t think you can see how dominant he’s been.

Milano is the star of this D. Hyde & poyer as a tandem are elite.  White can’t be compared here as he has played 1 full game and we need to evaluate him mid season next year after a full time period to fully recover. However , He has proven to be a very good #1 corner , played 100% of snaps in the past , so he was more impactful before than a rotational DE. Edmunds is now very good , the d still drops off moreso if Milano is out ( teams ran all over us when he was out in past  seasons and Milano has been very consistent whereas this is by far Edmunds best year ). It’s a Great trend for Edmunds who I think will continue to improve , and the two LBs together are evolving stars. ( parsons from the cowboys is an example of an elite superstar Lb)

Groot is really taking leaps and he has huge potential. John Fina , played left ot for 10 years for the Bills, so I trust his evaluation as he practiced against Bruce, thinks Groot is really progressing as he is still learning how to use his body as he grows into it. Fina suggests he still needs to continuing working on his speed moves , and thinks he would actually come off the ball faster with a single hand down . So Groot is progressing well and can become a dominant , perhaps elite player but it’s only his second year and he still has areas to grow and needs more counter moves than just his power.  Fina did say he would  like to see him get lower and get his pads lower at times as offensive lineman who do get under his pad level can neutralize him.  Just a way to say he is not elite yet and he shouldn’t be facing expectations of being another Bruce. Miller said he can become dominant and he is having a good year so hopefully his progress continues.

Using a term like elite is HOf talent like Bruce and Reggie White , so he shows potential but sack total alone is not the sole thing  that qualifies an edge player  as elite.   He is perfect for this system and making progress and that’s what you hope for.  Bruce wasn’t elite in his second year , experience plays a huge role in the NFL and he’s getting that while increasing his knowledge. It’s only year two and imo it’s not fair or accurate to say he’s the best player on the D ( I think that was stated here somewhere , but I could be wrong )  as he is growing into the position. It’s great to support players on the team but you have to be aware of Bias and if pros who played see room for improvement I trust that over the TBD scouts.

I dont need them to run more, but I sure as heck need them to utilize the short passing game if they A. Refuse to Run and B. The defense is playing a 2 high shell.

They have to start taking what the defense is giving them.  The insistence to try and force it down the field when they offensive line cant block worth a dang drives me absolutely nuts!

I think you make a great point,  but look at all the drops on short passes today ( knox, motor, mckenzie killed two drives on short passes right in his hands , and early Josh was off even missing a quick slant to Diggs,) I will watch the all 22 but I don’t remember Josh throwing many deep balls at all today. If they don’t have so many drops , the offense looks a heck of a lot better.  This o line also killed drives with holding penalties again.  Like you said tho, at other times Josh seemed to go back to holding the ball longer as he was going thru reads ; will be interesting to see if guys were free on shorter routes and if he chose again to not take the short routes waiting for longer ones to open.

Watching how much Miami is blitzing tonight looks worrisome as this o line struggles protecting Josh. Next week they better have ways to get the ball out quickly , like even using Smoke in the slot as he and Josh had good chemistry on quick slants I think.  But they can’t keep having the drops and penalties or the fins will really be more of a problem. Man,They send guys relentlessly, so the receivers have to help Josh , including the backs as hot routes.  It hurts both the pass and run game with lack of a good  2 nd tight end as well , as Gilliam has not contributed much as a receiver recently. Dorsey needs to have a good game creatively next week ( like the great 4 th down call today) because I just don’t see the fins only sending 4 and we can’t have guys untouched right in Josh’s face immediately all night.

It would be interesting  if the Bills can somewhat mimic what  they did in the first game ( 90 offensive plays) and take the short stuff early , the Fins D will wear down and can be run on later.  The big issue tho , is ball security either by running more or receivers actually not dropping passes for us to handle the fins , and hope our corners, LBs , and safeties are healthy going into the game.

Miller ranks third in the NFL in quarterback pressures  behind Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons  and Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon

Miller leads the Bills in sacks (eight), pass rush win rate (23.7%) and pressure percentage (14.6%).

third best in the league is ELITE. he will be missed

the only saving grace is that we have some potential quality depth behind him.

    Better, but meh

    PR/KR 2022: Nyheim Hines

    PR/KR 2021: Isaiah McKenzie

    Slight Upgrade

    Other important considerations:

    - Bills are currently the #1 seed. They were 7-6 at this point last season.

    - The Chiefs are arguably the Bills biggest threats this year in the AFC and they lost Tyreek Hill.

    - The Bills have looked absolutely dominant for the vast majority of the season.

So ... RIGHT NOW, better team, better record, better seeding, arguably worse competition.

Why are we even talking about 2021 as our best chance or last chance?

Well , I guess if you want to call coming from behind with 23 seconds left dominant , we see things differently.  We also were never 1-2 in the AFC east and only lost in a blizzard to the pats in the east last year. Yes we are the 1 seed now, but we have a tough schedule with the much improved Jets( who beat us with a 2nd year coaching staff and qb who has been benched for underperforming)  very. Competitive fins ( who beat us with a rookie head coach, not very Belicheck like) and peaking Bengals ( who have played in one more Super Bowl with their staff than ours and have 3 wins over KC leading to thatSuper bowl ) all left to play.  Two of those teams , the fins and Bengals have good passing attacks, exactly the thing Miller was brought in to help close games out against.

So the Chiefs lost hill , but he has done better and plays on the team that beat us this year , against our weaker safeties according to your own breakdown.  He actually set up the game winning td beating those safeties you rated as a SIGNIFICANT downgrade!  We can’t lose to them again and Expect to hold the 1/seed and coukd easily drop to a wildcard team.  Wildcard teams seldom win superbowls.

Josh has lead the league in ints which I don’t think happened last year.  He also is likely playing with an elbow more likely to affect and could easily be  more easily injured again , especially behind this line who is having issues staying healthy. So Josh may not yet be the same as last year. The o line, outside of health , has had technique issues if you believe prior Bills pros Fina and ostroski. Not sure that’s an improved area. Brown also did not play with back surgery last year, do you actually think he has been better this year ?

We have a rookie OC.  I would call that a slight downgrade come playoff time where experience plays a larger role. Our lack of scoring tds in the second half and red zone inefficiency with more turnovers is concerning.

I agree we have a better record now , but WORSE competition just doesn’t make sense as we still face two teams who beat us this year but not last year , and a sneaky good Bengals team ( away I think ) who will prob be leading their division and playing for seeding. Again these are good passing teams and now our sack leader , the guy brought in to “ close “ games by getting sacks ( and he is our sack leader) is gone for the remainder of the regular season and the playoffs when we MIGHT  once again face mahomes in KC , whom Miller was specifically paid to solve mahomes escaping the pocket and making off platform plays. Additionally , Reid has had mcds and our DC’s number in playoff time.

I do agree our run game may be improving right at the perfect time. We need that to offset our receiving corp performing about the same as last year when we were expecting significant improvement. Diggs tho is responsible for the majority if that as he is having an all world year!  The balanced attack we saw against the Pats , if continued , could really answer be a huge boost in our chance for playoff success.

The bottom line tho is the W/ L record and by that measure we are better , but that’s just a snapshot in time and we have our toughest schedule ahead and have yet to play a full game without Von!  Your arguments about seeding, worse competition, our record , etc are all theoretical at this point and COULD all be the exact opposite of what you are using as an argument!  The 13 seconds was a real thing , real lead, with us playing the afc championship at home if we held on those 13 seconds !  So talk to us about how good our actual chances are when we get an afc championship game AT HOME, because until we are leading again with the next game being the championship game at home in Buffalo , YES , SO FAR THAT WAS OUR BEST CHANCE TO GET BACK TO THE SUPERBOWL!   2021 was our best chance in years , as we were never really close to winning the afc championship game in KC the year earlier. In contrast, Josh had Played two almost perfect playoff games in 2021!

That doesn’t mean we can’t be better this year , and with Josh as our QB , of course it’s not our last chance.  But you can’t argue we have a better shot this year as your entire argument , outside of us having a better record RIGHT NOW , is entirely theoretical and the guy who Beane thought would get us over that last hurdle of KC ( and Kelsey who we still don’t limit well ) is GONE and he WAS actually involved in the  game winning int earlier in the year. Let’s talk when we beat the jets, fins , bengals, and are playing KC in Buffalo in the afc championship game!  Then we can fully put 2021 behind us forever and just talk about our miracle season of 2022 when we actually won our first Lombardi!  That’s when your post will have some validity and be based on the facts of reality !  Go Bills. Happy holidays!

Yep.  Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley and John Brown did nothing here.  I can't believe Stefon Diggs is still on the team.

Not to Create an issue but you did see he qualified his statement saying Beane didn’t DRAFT wrs well Vs hiw he did with Free agents  which you just helped in proving his point.  I just started reading the thread , so don’t mean to pile on as I’m sure lots of cynical people were more than happy to get a shot at you ! Lol!

Jk as I have taken plenty of shots , the latest in the shout box I guess was perhaps directed at me, ( amazing how ballsy someone is at a keyboard esp never having met in real life) as apparently I made the “ mistake” of re- entering 3-4 hours after a Bills marginal win required a nap, lol, and I just said I hoped the vikes won against their opponent as it helped the bills , and I found out I supposedly was too critical , and  the prick in an allegorical story and “ had no life outside of the Bills “ !  I appreciated this thoughtful coward  teaching me how sad that persons childhood must have been as it didn’t even closely  apply to any real thing in my life and was from one who devotes many hours to this type of site I am hoping  as a hobby?  Haha!  That site has deteriorated dramatically in treating people civilly as fellow Bills fans over the years!

BTW,  I’ve always enjoyed your thoughts here. I did think this poster qualified things tho and if I misunderstood your post , please forgive me!   I do think our wr drafts have been pretty average so far , tho Davis / knox have been improving, shakir is a question, hodgkins

having some success elsewhere.  The FA acquisitions have been very good tho.

IMO, its been a somewhat weird  season as despite all the success record wise, I have found it less enjoyable as great guys like Hyde , poyer, white,Phillips, Morse,  now Miller have had some significant  injuries and missed time ,  and for me being a fan / follower entails enjoying quality of the players as well as team building, and looking ahead.    I would not enjoy mimicking the mercenary Rams with their sole Lombardi, which may be the last they sniff for many years as they just keep changing the lineup almost hourly! Waited this long, if not this year, maybe we get 99% healthy with our own guys next year.    Happy holidays btw!!🎄
I don’t see obj as a savior for this year , but might enjoy him if he actually planned on being here a few years as the one & done thing doesn’t remind me of the joy surrounding the run of the 90’s teams!😊🍸 That’s why millers injury is more bothersome as it not only hurts this year but a large part of next season , or possibly more given his age.

i had the flu a few years ago and it absolutely rocked me.  i felt wildly bad for about 4-5 days, but it took me another week just to feel better.  i have to image that most of these guys will play, but they may not be anywhere near 100% depending how bad they have it.

Depends on availability of tamiflu.  I have heard some areas are having shortages. I caught the flu seeing patients at an urgent care one day. Had seen about 50 people when I suddenly felt it hit me at 3 pm! Never felt something so sudden from a viral standpoint hit me. By the time I left to go home at 10 pm , I felt so sick I had a hard time driving five min home. Flu is not like any other virus, it really hits like a truck  Anyhow , my good friend was an ARNP and went to a 24 hour Cvs and got me tamiflu.  Supposedly the earlier you start it the better. I got two doses in and was back at work the following afternoon shift.

Just saying this cuz 1) I am a huge fan of tamiflu! And 2) if the Jets players have access to tamiflu , and influenza is what they actually have , I would say there is about a 99% chance these otherwise young , healthy guys will be playing Sunday.

Its  a shame there is no ACL-flu fix for Von!  Man , still breaks my heart this happened for him and for this team which has fought thru so much this year. It’s just why as a very, very long time Bills enjoyer , it’s so hard to ever just expect things to turn out good concerning this team. It’s why if you’re a long time fan you can’t trust the score until the clock is turned off cuz they can always call you back to the field because some penalty from the small print of the rule book occurred.
Its  the reason old time fans never bought into all the hype that “ this is the year we win the super bowl!”  Hey , I’m not saying we won’t or can’t still do it , bu is sure looks suddenly a lot harder than it did when the year began , doesn’t it!? Great roster talent , best coaching staff and stability for years , a true unicorn franchise QB who barely avoids a torn UL, and part of an all pro receiver tandem , finally a real running game developing ,  and a superstar edge rusher reminiscent of Bruce  joins us!

All this , ,,,,only to experience a season ending injury in the middle of travel related to 77 freaky inches of snow forcing an extra game on bad turf and 3 games in 12 days where the unlucky injury occurred  in the middle game  This is why an old guy like me feels like “:only the Bills”  could somehow have a guy say he’s playing the Jets this Sunday while on his twitch stream , to then being gone the remainder of the season after a simple clean up arthroscopy is done !  Yep , “Billsy “ is still a thing ; I just hope winning a Lombardi by beating the Cowboys finally becomes a Billsy thing!   We owe them and I was actually at the stadiums for  both losses and it would finally come full circle. Now that would be BILLSY! 😀

Yes, the cap hit will suck, but it's not like the Bills lost Nick Bosa or Matthew Judon.

He was playing at a Jerry Hughes level.  A great player, but on the downward slope of his career.

This is survivable and I don't think it hurts the Bills Superbowl chances much if at all.

Now excuse me while I pull my on flame resistant suit.

Pretty sure he was second in the league behind the cowboys parsons for pressures  ( I believe that as Espn glossed by so quickly discussing millers loss) That’s a huge loss as he made game changing plays in at least two of our wins. He did have the lasting effect on teaching technique to the young edge guys ( why aren’t they progressing before this with our staff) who are noticeably  improved , but none can replace his unique ability for big Plays at games critical times. No one has the closing ability Miller has and comparing him to Hughes is way off base.  His leadership and cool play at critical times will be missed and we didn’t even see him at a higher level of playoff caliber play yet.  This has been a terrible year with injuries and the Detroit field turf claims another.  The snow likely played some role with fatigue Showing up in the second game in 5 days

It’s a big blow also going forward as we are looking at possibly another White type situation with him likely missing most of next year, so it’s effectively a 2 year influencing injury. He also isn’t getting younger so who knows what he returns like?  Also has cap ramifications I would think and it’s  not like you can just grab another certain HoF, 2 SB winning edge guy!  This also affects free agency for this year ( pretty sure a certain player goes elsewhere):and I bet Mcd / Beane go edge hunting again, perhaps neglecting the o line or a true #2 receiver in next years offseason.

Not a huge surprise tho as we all saw the tibia slide  forward relative to the femur.  The heavily criticized internet Drs did indeed know their risk assessment given the mechanism of injury and how it looked. MRIs are vey often wrong early or miss  pathology because of swelling from the initial injury.

This is another hard test for Mcd , as this emotional blow comes right before two critical divisional games. White is playing better than Wilson did when we played and were beaten by their line and bad turnovers we mentally gave away, so not having those extra pressures from Von comes at an especially rough time!  The Jets know they have to have this game. If Mcd can squeeze out wins from the jets, fins, and Bengals , he is having a coach of the year campaign!  Here’s hoping they somehow hold the #1 seed as playing KC one more time there without Miller hardly seems fair.   Wishing  Miller a safe recovery and wondering if we finally might hit a critical breaking point with all these ridiculous amount of injuries ?   Hope his teaching is enough to get us thru to the next step!

What a sad thread. Yeah, what this offense needs a short guy who averages 7 ypc and tweets a million dumb things like an emo high school. Move on.

He ended his own career. He thinks he’s some deep thinker when he gets all information from random internet sites and Joe Rogan. And when you’re not good, no one wants to deal with you.

a hot chick in her 20s gets away with saying dumb stuff. Now when she’s 40, people aren’t going to put up with it as much.

Don’t want to say much about a player who is retired , yet there are several pages devoted to his “ return”:already posted here, and included was a discussion about certain rights ;  plus he is the subject of your post if I am reading that correctly.   Sorry if I’m wrong  😊  An analogy might be some people apparently are arguing over/ discussing a certain Supreme Court ruling involving similar rights involving one’s body.
Reading all the posts suggesting they would welcome Beas back , I wonder why a player would ever want , theoretically, to return to play in a community where he was cursed at ( sadly many names were used on these pages, not by you ) and insulted with name calling such as “ he thinks he is some deep thinker”?  I apologize if there is any similarity to real life as I mean no disrespect.
Just asking a simple question as most players seem to prefer going to where they are wanted, right? I mean he did play through a broken fibula in the playoffs, an admirable trait you would think might make him a fan favorite and he did help in Josh’s developement!
Booing probably doesn’t make one feel “ wanted” either,  but hey , I am no expert or pro athlete.  Tampa did CHOSE him , he just decided to retire later, so “ no one wanting to deal with him” is probably factually incorrect ; sorry to point that fact out.

Because you are not someone who gets random info and obviously stays on top of facts  that are not obtained from someone like Rogan as mentioned in your post,  might I just suggest to consider reading an experts published email after performing accepted research. Irs an official recommendation for all Florida Med professionals ( to all pharmacists, Drs for example) SENT FROM the Fl Surgeon General ( not a Rogan type or some random site 😊).  It’s not in medical jargon either!  Science evolves and the surgeon general is well recognized and published. His latest email from the Fl. dept of health , went out to all medical professionals on 12/2/22, so it’s current.  Google can prob find it if you’re interested.  Denmarks actions are interesting as well. Just some sources that seem professional , perhaps useful to those with families , and it’s just an example that sometimes things we thought we knew, perhaps changed as we have learned more.  ( not my personal opinions being offered,  just providing one example of a resource for educational purposes that are interesting, not random, not political,  that are on the internet  😊) Just wondered if it’s possible to view Beas in a different light as you stated he ruined / ended his own career ?
I agree with you about Beas , as much as I like him , prob can’t offer much two years past his best season with the Bills. Maybe Crowder will heal soon enough to come back and contribute!  Mckenzie is good but risky to depend on.  Who knows what they are doing with shakir?  Happy holidays!  🎄

So basically it’s just a round about watt of saying we are not preparing enough to take advantage of opportunities?  With no chance to practice and the crazy injuries , it’s probably more relistic to say we are not getting enough preparation or practice to take advantage of our opportunities.   Makes more sense than some. Newly created stat that may lack reproducibility or priot test of time.  I trust in marvisms over analytics. 😊😀

Bring him in.... Looks like he still he's alot of fight left  😏

Espns ticker line tonight says obj visits Bills tomorrow after giants tiday a d cowboys after the bills.  I mean with smoke back , there are only so.many balls to go around. Mike Robinson made a good point with Chris brown, will Josh still be the alpha leader if you;have a guy / diva like obj always saying he is open and wants the ball. ?  Good point , could it just be nite of a headache and also a affect chemistry with Diggs / Allen ? Not my ststements but from a good player who knows how locker room dynamics can be affected. Him saying he doesn’t see a role for obj ,is A very important point imo from a very astute prior player turned big Bills / Josh mafia member now. Really enjoy his insights weekly!

Looks to me like they are just vacuuming up anyone they can find in hopes that someone sticks. Not a bad strategy, but hardly stacking the roster.

It’s like that old cliche in basketball, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take! If they hit on one or two , maybe they make the team a littke better in November / december ?  They have a pretty good record in those months. Maybe their strategy has value?  I like Reid as a creative mind and his play design continues to evolve despite all his years coaching. Maybe we are being a little too conservative just so we don’t deserve chemistry. Michael Robinson suggested he didn’t think obj was necessary for that reason on the show sigh Chris Brown. I like listening to his breakdown of the Bills play weekly. Seems like a great guy!

Big loss. Judon must be drewling.

Man I am messing up spelling things myself , honestly it never happened until I was under from 5 pm-10 pm working on my neck with 5 bad discs   They go very to the carotid during the surgery and the neurisurgein said I was actually his 5 th case of that same surgery that day. My memory was Perfect before with names of players from years ago and I could name the band who played any given song. Now I am struggling with names k nothing else but names really are an issue for me.

Not joking , has anybody else ever experienced that after being under for a long time, even with perfect health before ?  I appreciate it if you have ever experienced something similar that you might be ok sharing!.  Anyhow , it’s drooling or salivating and I’m not being an a$$ just pointing out the spelling so forgive me. But I really do wonder if anyone ever noticed a change after being under for a long surgery. Hyde prob had a similar surgery this year but he is much younger as I just turned 65 and I think he just had a single disc done.

I think we will be ok with quess having a week to prepare.but this is a true test for Dorsey to see if he can protect Josh yet keep the offense productive. This is a crtical gsme and Dorsey needs to step up without hurting our o by taking another guy out of the routes. Likewise without Von , the pats are free now to not have to keep a guy in to chip von and it opens their offense up more. Will be a matchup of o coordinators to see who is the most creative!  It’s Dec , time to get serious and peak!  Thanks for your thoughts if you can empathize as it’s a little concerning and just wondered if any one every experienced something similar!  Go Bills and Happy Holidays!

I think Josh was concussed in that game.

Based on what proven data, not your opinion from tv or the stands ?. Also please explain how a concussion protocol based on reproducible science , can be cleared in 5 days and part includes not having recurrent symptoms and tests memory and cognition. Yet your “ theory” for Josh throwing ints, and  and the D giving up long runs and many chunk plays on third and long as they failed  to hold a 17 point lead , is Josh had a concussion?  Yet people were verbally attacking players or others on the forum for ” misinformation” before? 👍🤣

Seems fair and like a totally , well thought out, scientifically reproducible theory and you might consider starting a go fund me site so mafia members can donate 17$ a pop so Josh can afford an exam by an independent neurologist !  It’s terrible thinking his processing is so scrambled affecting his play and even elbow perhaps, and he is waking, driving a car, practicing, calling plays, doing podcasts , filming commercials , and in a long ongoing relationship with his GF and family who somehow have not noticed behavioral changes despite these ongoing post concussive effects.   Might want to send an overnight letter to the Bills medical staff , they prob are not trained or have experience with TBI situations, and not much time left before we play the Pats!

(I know you’re JK , right , and just wanted to joke a little!  Best wishes , Happy holidays! 🎄😊

I mean you can only play who is on your schedule, but I mean come on...has there been an easier 5 game stretch in the NFL this season??

    Steelers, Lions, Bears, Browns, Texans.

Could see them losing the next 3 in a row with the 49ers, Chargers and Bills the next 3 up.

Why do people waste time with posts comparing schedules ?  If you note , 2 of those easy teams almost beat us !  Let’s see how we do against the bears who are playing better. , don’t count your chickens, yada. Yada, yada,  What is the fins afc east record , oh and what team did they beat when said team was undefeated?  Oh ,yeah us but it was the heats fault. Who currently is the #2 afc seed ? Oh yeah , it’s them. Who is 0-2 in the East ?  Oh yeah , it’s us. Who has a receiver leading the league in yards?  Who has a qb with a higher QB rating and has thrown less ints?   Who is doin that under a FIRST YEAR HEAD COACH?  Oh yeah , that’s Not us!  So what’s  your great analytical point with this post now ,,,,oh yeah , you want to denigrate their real accomplishments and play WHAT IF , or LETS IGNORE FACTS CUZ MY TEAM IS SUPPOSED TO BETTER,,,,,LIKE CANDYLAND! ?

Why don’t we just see how we play the pats , and let’s just deal with reality , not all the things you are wishing for just cuz Santa is coming to your world soon!  How bout we talk about the fins when and after we play them , you know , how reality works ! ?  Or do you want to analyze all the potential issues with NFC potential SB teams too ( since in your world there is no way the Bills won’t be in that game) so let’s analyze the Vikes, Eagles, Cowboys, 49er’s  schedule as well cuz I’m sure they all played easy teams too?  Hey , start with the Vikes season opponents maybe!?

Maybe let’s talk when we know who will suit up for our team , and btw, it’s a matchup league , funny how that works so comparing wins vs losses , and scores , is just wasted time. What’s wrong with just acknowledging the Fins are playing well , beat us once , lead the division , are getting excellent qb play under a FIRST  YEAR  coach who resurrected Tuas career, did a great job before the trade deadline with Chubb and Wilson who are both contributing.  So when we actually live up to our potential , and beat them , no one is posting how we played the fins in cold weather and that’s why we won etc. Reality actually matters , not all the what ifs and buts in the world.   Let’s celebrate after we actually prove we are better THIS  year?  Hope Santa is good to you!🎄Happy Holidays!

Kelly was sued for physically assaulting a couple women when he was drunk in 1987.........he left a pile of unpaid bills when his restaurant closed despite having the means to resolve them.........and there were less substantiated stories that were uglier.  JK was never considered a great guy until long after his playing career.

Bruce Smith had driving under the influence issues and the Bills at one time had a PI investigating his connection to local drug dealers and he was subsequently suspended for failing multiple drug tests.

Cornelius Bennett?   He literally served time for sexual assault.  (how could you not have heard that, at least?)

Not sure where you got the idea that these guys didn't have reputations for significantly worse misbehavior than getting kicked off a plane after taking some xanax.

I know about most of those things buddy.  But that doesn’t mean the team  was “ loaded “ with bad people as the poster stated.  Obj certainly has a history of drama that follows him and there is a reason he doesn’t stick with teams despite the claims “ teammates like him”.

I wasn’t posting primarily to comment on obj , tho I am not a fan.  I was just saying IMO the 90’s Bills was not loaded with bad people. Kelly was an ass and I knew that just from interacting with him myself. He was caustic but I am only talking about things I personally know. Being caustic is not breaking the law , being removed from a plane suggests illegal behavior and how do you know it was Xanax and prescribed for him?  I have taken and prescribed Xanax and it’s not hard to arouse someone who has taken a prescribed, appropriate dose so something else ( like mixing things is very likely). Time will tell.

Regarding Kelly he also did tons  for Hunters hope and you just want to forget the good!?  Almost every person has done things they wish they shouldn’t have esp when young. Bruce is a model Person now as is KElly.by most accounts.  So yes Smith got a dui , but does that make him terrible from that point on, and did that mean the team was loaded with bad guys ?    I didn’t know about drug stuff but how would I?   DOES THAT MEAN A LARGE AMOUNT OF THE TEAM was involved?  Was he convicted , was it proven  or are you just talking about allegations.?   I’m not aware he was convicted so I won’t question his character just based on an investigation or allegation.

What about talking about guys like Frank, Kelso, Tasker, Hull, Marv Bebee ? Noticed you chise only examples of a few guys who made mistakes.  Again doesn’t seem like the team was” loaded “ with bad people. Marv was the leader and I would say every bit as good as mc d is now from a character standpoint.

All I was commenting on is controversy continues all the time with obj , and this is another incident even as he is job hunting! Hey I don’t care if he took Xanax , LEGALLY and  LEGALLY has a script for it !  The truth is usually somewhere in the middle and I am sure it’s possible the airline over reacted as well.  To say the 90’s Bills team was “ loaded” with bad guys is hyperbole unless you or the OP have articles on the majority of the players backing that up ,  not stories or anecdotes about a few of them. So ifBennett , Kelley ,, Bruce did those things , is that the majority of that team and does that mean the 90’s Bills were loaded with terrible guys?

If they were so terrible , why would you follow them. I know this if Watson was  acquired by the Bills to replace Josh , I would be done with the Bills despite following them since 63.  .   I wouldn’t give them up because of OBJ , but I would not cheer or enjoy watching him play. Just my opinions and I chose not to ignore the many good guys on those 90’s teams. The OP apparently did.  Best wishes  Badolbilz, I have almost always enjoyed your post over all, these years.  😊👍

I really don't care. A SB still feels awesome with a dbag on the team. 90s Bills were loaded with dbags, who cares. Unfortunately, I think it'll spook our FO.

Ridiculous that we will and did nothing to improve the offense

Who were all the d bags on the 90 bills?   Maybe some egos, but I don’t recall many having that type of reputation , unless you bothered them in public perhaps.  I mean HOF inductees,  KELLY ( a little caustic) . Thurman , Bruce ( a big ego but hardly a d bag rep) , Reed ( still great guy), Bebee? , Lofton ( met him here in Jax for eagles / pats SB, good guy) , Marv? , Talley ? , Bennett ( met him at at

Atlanta airport AFTER the  SB LOSS TO COWBOYS as we were boarding at same terminal as he was headed to pro bowl. Treated me well but maybe some other off field issues after his career?) ).   But considering 4 years of SB’s and all the autograph hounds bugging them , other than Kelly being a little short tempered , you didn’t hear about them being dragged off a plane losing consciousness, leaving teams, passing out money in a college locker room at LSU, and that’s only a small sample for him.   Plus the Bills didn’t jump from team to team only playing fir “ contenders”.  Those are just off the top of my head and I’m sure there is more.

Just my opinion tho , maybe you knew them better personally?   Jamie mueller became a pharmaceutical rep and took a pic of the 63 bills I had hanging in my office and got it autographed by one of  the players for me. I have met a few pros over tye years (( best story was on a pjane going to SB 27 in pssedena , MEAN JOE GREEN, came up to my then gf , who looked like a young Hilary Clinton but with a much better body ,😊, and asked her for her autograph on a time mag with Clinton on the cover ! He was extremely polite!
My experience is if you don’t bug them in their personal time, most are good guys.  I know every team has one or two guys with issues , but I don’t think the Bills “ WERE LOADED” with bad characters; maybe ask Frank reich or Tasker?  Lol!  Horrible guys!   Not sure any of them has the egomaniacal rep OBJ seems to have outside the locker room. Personally I am glad he won’t be on the roster as he has not  been a part or contributed to the team chemistry or gone thre adversity with them. Just a mercenary who continues to be in the headlines usually for BS!, and only is seeking a ring , not to really be part of a team or he would still be with the Rams.

Lions are dead last defensively in pts allowed averaging 28.2. They also have the 2nd worst run D in the league (Browns have the worst) & they were missing their top CB. We, the #2 scoring offense scored 26 (the D got 2 w/ the safety). & We punted 3 consecutive times for the 1st time this year. Hardly a stellar day by Coach Dorsey.

    https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-points-per-game

But, but we are 8-3 and that’s all that matters according to a couple of “ experts” on the forum here.   How dare you complain when our record is  so good ! How can you be critical of any aspect of the teams play !  Clearly you just want to complain and be miserable !  You likely have no life outside the Bills And just dwell on them as the only important issue is we are 8-3!  You can’t be a true fan!   It’s not relevant we are 0-2 in ths divusion , behind kc for our goal of obtaining home field   advantage!  You are obviously ungrateful and have forgetten the drought years!  You are a miserable prick. 😂😀

Haha , I’m just kidding donuts!  Please forgive the above as it’s just  a joke and never directed at you!  I swear! Your points are vslid and well stated. I was just repeating a verbal attack from two “ experts” with all of the above crap last night in the shoutbox when I mentioned it would be nice if the vikes beat the pats to help us as we currently are not playing our best on offense.  Pretty laughable stuff but the name calling and personal attacks were ridiculous as one of those two implied they infrequently participated in the chat due to people being critical of the team ; hilariously another’ member pointed out that then someone was impersonating them weekly in the forum using their name! Some never let the facts or truth get in the way of their narrative.  You point out important things.  We are winning but it doesn’t seem sustainable without a little more creativity from our OC. That’s also coming from analysts like Bill cower , Phil sims, Boomer as well.  We could go undefeated the remainder of the season , but that’s seems unlikely.

Hey 8-3 is nice , but I was under the impression we want to win a super bowl.! . we just lost to the Vikings who knew our routes , picking off a pass to win after we blew a 17 point lead. The Cowboys just destroyed that team and may get better if obj joins them. Our d has some losses we may not be able to cover up , as Hyde , possibly Miller are done. Seems our best shot is to win in a shootout , so let’s hope our o continues to evolve. Those stats suggest we better!  Well analyzed, best wishes !  😀. Again sorry firvkidding I that first paragraph , but that’s a common thought process on here. 😉🍸

So in order for Hines to run the ball Josh has to practice?

I see things different such as getting away from the running game. Lack of or no ability to have play action. How about a trick play? Um, run Cook on something other than a toss. Double move, pump fake? Not wait until 4th Qtr to get Knox in the game…. I see a lack of creativity. I see WRs consistently running 15 yds down the field, even on 3rd and short.

Get Josh under center a few more times a game just to help set up play action and have a different look other than shotgun.

They call the QB sweep almost once a game, how about QB sweep action then stop and throw over the top, teams come flying up when they see that…

Practice days, injuries etc I get it… sure it makes thing’s tougher. But I just don’t see this offense being to difficult for teams the game plan against.

Belichick will be tough next week. Definitely a game we can lose.

Omg ,,,  actually a person who can observe , analyze, have individual thought , AND still be a great Bills fan!  You must have missed the 8 pages of posted mob mentality thinking in this thread!  Name calling , like “bevis”. , one person knowing said qb must be in excruciating pain that caused 10 ints, ( pain has a scale from 1-10. , excruciating means broken , compound fractures, a kidney stone, cancer eroding into bone pain, obstructed intestinal pain where the heart rate, respiratory rate are increased, nausea and profuse diaphoresus as cold profuse  sweating is present not under one’s voluntary control.  Throwing a football with an injured yet healing ligament with a qb smiling afterwards is about a level 3 in real life , as even said qb stated his elbow.had no effect , but who lets facts stand in tbe way of a good, biased narrative).  No room for logical thought and still call yourself a Bills fan is allowed here. 😊 You are a brave soul having an original thought!   I admire your courage and it’s enlightening to read.  I know you appreciate how great Josh is or why be here , yet  saying Belicheck   will be tough next week might bring out hate speech and questioning your football intelligence by the mob! 😊🍸🍸

Certainly you realize we are “8-3” , even tho 0-2 in the division and behind Kc ( only 2 losses sitting in the top seed the Bills stated as a goal for their season and reason Miller was paid 120 mil to make highmark the path to reach the super bowl, while greats like Thurman stated how crucial home field advantage was for. them to reach the Super Bowl , but what’ does he know compared to the mob?) , and only a real Bills fan looks no further than just the 8 wins!  Losing to teams with first and second year staffs is just going down the rabbit hole and too deep a dive if you are a “ true” fan!

obviously you should never question the first year OC ‘s  learning process because that means you’re  not a loyal worthy fan unless your opinion is the groups allowed opinion ( funny concept on a message / opinion board where it might be expected to see , maybe even learn from differing view points. Better to shut that down than just read it because words are so physically harmful!) Finally , daring to question the creativity of the o play design (/even when a Vikings cb said they knew the routes well enough to jump one for a game winning int) is borderline Jan 6 th like anarchy and proves you are unhappy and have no life outside Bills football!  At least that’s what I was told in an interesting allegory as someone grew up apparently yelling in crowds for their Bills so much so they were calked a “ prick” by their childhood friends!  Must have been an awful , traumatic youth or childhood! Personally , I can’t relate to that as if I was ever at a Bills bar or gathering during the great 90’s team years, I rarely drank alcohol because I prefer being in control , a littke shy , and enjoy actually listening to intelligent viewpoints even if different , but that’s Just me. and in my career , you are taught many times to never judge.

I know you are totally confident we will beat the pats next week as nothing else is even possible as I read on here , but I just wanted to say thanks for the original ideas, sincerely!  By thinking outside the mob, I mean box, and sharing some creative ideas you see teams like the Titans doing , it seems fair to wonder if Dorsey can help life be a little easier for our truly amazing qb  (/who I do believe will surpass Jim as the best Bills qb ever ; gosh I hope that’s not too negative about 17) while he is in “ excruciating “ pain.  Thx for a great post from an obvious loyal Bills fan!  Best wishes.  Happy holidays and good health to you and yours! 👍😀

when you reach Rappaport’s level you build your reputation on never reporting inaccurate news. However, Ian’s the same guy who reported the AB signing.

Well , there you go , never say never.  He very well could be right.  Hey personally I am not affected one way or the other as it’s all speculation unless you examined the knee or you read the mri before it was done. Lol. 😊. I was just saying the younger Dr has proven to be very good at explaining injuries this year. He wasn’t o and couldn’t be definitive as that’s impossible. I think he said something like he feared , etc etc,    Nothing wrong with making an educated GUESS.  He is paid to do that. All Drs are paid for educated guesses , until an image or tissue oath comes back. It’s called a working differential diagnosis. That’s how they are taught to think   Make a list with most likely things at the top and other less likely things down the list. The hunan baody is not a car , it’s a dynamic organism, ever changing so you are trained to think expansively. Let’s sY you go I. With a cough and the Dr says it’s bronchitis. Well, many things act the same. It could also be a pneumonia, asthma, cold, a pulmonary embolus etc.  They make a differential diagnostic list if POSSIBULITUES, and the.n work thru that list. I doubt Rap makes a list or has knowledge to do so !

in this case it could be a sprain, it could be a a l tear, it could be an Mcl sprain or tear, it coukd be a medial meniscal tear, etc. Only the Drs reading the MRI will know as close to 100% as possible , until if required, someone scopes and actually sees the extent of damage. So Rap might know what he was told , there  in no way his report can be 100% a fact or von would not need aN MRI would he ?  So if he doesn’t get or require an mri , then the examining Drs exam is compatible with a sprain and that’s possible. Not Every knee injury tears an ACL , and if there is no laxity , no swelling from bleeding , then there’s likely no tear!  That would be great! Alll those Drs were saying is the injury looked suspicious with the awkward medial strain on the joint as he bent , and he was obvioulsy in discomfort for quite a while and didn’t seem to want to place his weight on the leg. Heck, he could have been dancing in the locker room for all we know. and Rap saw that and reported it as a sprain.

The drs just saw the initial injury and reaction , and based on their extensive experience, SUGGESTED, it looked like a possible tear. That’s true, but not a fact., just a working diagnosis. It’s their job just like Raps is to be first to spue  something!    Neither is Fact until more time passes and either he is re examined or an mri shows definitive issues. Hope that makes sense. Time is truths friend in this case. Hey we NEVER FOUND OUT on JOSHS REAL INJURY DID WE?  Can Rap tell us that  w 100% accuracy , NO, BUT HE CAN SAY JOSH HAS A SPRAINED ELBOW.    HE Is REPORTING SOMETHING HE DOESNT KNOW FOR SURE, but his rep is still intact. We will know to some degree if von stays on the active roster or is placed on IR which suggests structural damage. They may not say exactly until it’s reported he is having surgery. If not , it’s a sprain and great news. Raps rep is not held to the high standards a board certified docs is who is licensed every two years based on tested  knowledge.
I don’t think Rap has to pass a national test or earn a certain number of cme hours every two years to be able  to continue to write an opinion.  However,  a board certified dr must’ Document on a states website proof that he has done so. Take home point: we won’t know unless an actual mri is reported. , and that includes Rap. If no mri is done / required , it’s a minor sprain and that’s amazing considering how it initially looked   No one is taking sides , just reporting observations now and that Drs rep is no less credible than Raps! I am hoping for a sprain as I love the Bills., yet initially it appears  a little more involved. These guys are truly freak individuals so heck tomorrow he could be dancing , or. In a brace / crutches  waiting in a surgery date.  Time is always a friend to the truth. Go Bills 😀 best wishes !
