  1. TOP NEEDS IN THE DRAFT

Big Body Receiving Threat - preferably a TE but perhaps a big WR

    Offensive Lineman - likely interior

Linebacker - not a edge rush LB but a stand up LB to play next to Kiko

Being an FSU fan, I would love to see them get Kelvin Benjamin in the later rounds, he is big, fast, and has good hands. He also has chemistry with EJ. He can be a hybrid TE/WR....a LB to play next to Kiko, a guard, and a right tackle. It's not even January yet! and we are already playing the draft game.....again.

  2. I live near Miami, it's a decent city, ( cough, gag ) they have four major sports, new stadiums, big money. Yet the fans still could care less about filling the seats. The MLS failed there once already, and yet there is talk about expanding down there again. Why? money. I think leagues need to consider that when thinking about moving franchises. There's already talk of the Panthers moving to Quebec City. Which would replace the Nordiques, who moved to Colorado. What I am saying is the grass isn't always greener, just the cash is. And that does not always pan out.

  3.

Just like how they support the Blue Jays and Raptors? They play to empty arenas. In Toronto it's the Maple Leafs and then everyone else. Plus that would officially kill the CFL, something Goodell says he wants no part of. I think there would be a lot of opposition to us moving to Toronto actually

Good point, I wonder how the sports fans in Toronto really feel about all of this. The CFL is over a century old, and they seem happy and content with the Argos.

  4. Other then Green Bay is there a franchise that is the fabric of the city like the Bills are to Buffalo? I don't think so, I hate the thought of that ever happening. I no longer live in Buffalo, but when I go back I still see the pride the city has for the Bills. And it would be devastating if they left, especially if they went to Toronto. It's disgusting that nothing matters anymore other then money. In Toronto the Bills would just be a shiny new toy, not part of the city's culture. How would Toronto fans feel if someone threatened to take their beloved Maple Leafs? ( I know it will never happen )

  5. frankly I don't know why the NFL just doesn't buy out the Canadian Football League. And merge the two league together there's 8 teams so each conference gets 4 teams, and you expand the NFL brand to a whole nother country

Have you ever seen the CFL?...totally different brand of football. Different rules, different field. They just had their 101st Grey Cup. They don't want American football, they are happy with their own brand. And their own legacy.

  6. I am certainly open to QB if this continues. You can't win without one. I thought that I would throw some names out that interest me (excluding the QBs).

Anthony Barr, Khalil Mack, Mike Evans, Sammy Watkins, Marquise Lee, Eric Ebron, Ife Ekpre-Olomu, Jason Verrett (don't think that they are going to end bad enough to score Clowney)

If I had to pick from that group I like Mack or Barr.

I have been watching Sammy Watkins since his high school days at SFM High, his game has elevated to the level of competition. I see him as a Julio Jones type player in the NFL. I would not be heart broken if he landed with the Bills.

  7.

I don't think anyone's questioning his work ethic or dedication, or complaining about the player. I do however think someone should've stepped in and protected him from himself today. I also think down 18 with 5 minutes left there was especially no reason to have him out there. I was in my Stevie jersey today too, just FYI before I start getting called a Stevie hater.

I feel what your saying though.

  8.

You would think so. But most Bills fans hate Stevie.

I like him, he genuinely loves being a Bill. I also noticed the Bills are 3-0 when I wear his jersey this year, 0-2 when I wear Spiller, and 0-3 when I wear Dareus....hmmm looks like I need to wear my # 13 for a while....lol... funny coincidence.

  9. He went back in, the coaches didn't keep him out either. He obviously was not 100% but heart always plays better then physical prowess. I really like the mentality of this team, and I think it starts with Freddie, and his guts, it's rubbing off....is this really a bad problem to have? His play didn't hinder the Bills, but his gumption will only help to inspire his team mates.

  10. Really? If he didn't play the rest of the game , he is soft. Wow really can't please most fans. Look he was gutting it out, because he wants to win. He still had a decent game, I for one appreciate his effort and dedication.

  11. I live near Miami, and go often. Everywhere I have sit, no matter the section there is always a good spread of Bills fans. You will see hoards of Buffalo faithful tailgating, tossing a football, and partying. Expect random high fives, and a lot of " Go Buffalo! " from strangers. It seems I get lucky and always sit next to a big group of Bills fans. Most of the Miami fans are cordial, but some will get under your skin. My wife tells me 10 times a game to stop checking out the Miami cheerleaders. I tell her I'm using the binoculars to look for other Bills fans....wink....right!...Enjoy the game!

  12. Great post CBF!..being a Bills fan really does transcend sports, it's more about being a part of a community, a large extended family. I moved away from Buffalo years ago, but in my heart never left. I live close to Miami now,and try to attend the annual "Squish The Fish" game. I usually get my tickets on the cheap off craigslist the week of the game, so I sit somewhere different every time. But it does not matter which section I sit in, there will always be Bills fans close by, to high five after a play, to sing the shout song with after the Bills score. Or someone who has your back when a Dolphin fan talks smack. We won't know each other, hell it don't even matter if they are from Buffalo. But when they have on the colors of your team, there is an instant bond. ( it's always great when we win and we have Miami fans giving us directions back to Buffalo!)..My Dad lives close by, and every Sunday it's our tradition to get together and watch the Bills games. We hoot, and holler, B word, and moan. And it don't matter if they win or lose. Because there's no other place I'd rather be on a Sunday, then with my Dad watching the game. Except maybe tailgating at the Ralph with all of you fine folks!...Go Bills!

  13. If he could have Flutie's improv skills, with Kelly's toughness, and Bledsoe's arm, I would be quite satisfied. Seriously though I have watched him as an FSU fan for the last three years closely, he is not an all-pro. But he has a confidence, a commanding presence, with a fun and friendly attitude that makes you root for the guy. Lets watch him play some real games before we really form an opinion of him.

  14. My thinking is relatively simple in regards to the QB situation. They have a preseason game on Thursday, they need more then one arm to play in that game. Team cuts mostly come Tuesday. The Bills could not wait to see who was cut to add a QB. I think Leinart and Lewis battle it out to see who stays as insurance in case EJ is not ready for the opener. I see no way Tuel gets cut if he is the only healthy QB who knows the offense. Lets hope this is in fact the scenerio, and that we get a healthy EJ back for the opener....
