  1. We have no chance of winning if we cant get to Tom Brady; we have all figured out by now Kelsay cant get to Tom Brady. Maybin may not be ready to start; unfortunately, besides Schobel none of our other ends are ready to start. Maybin has showed some great potential in the preseason we invested our 11th pick on him why hesitiate to put him in? He may suck against the run- so doesnt Kelsay. He may have missed some time but lets face it, hes not playing QB or WR, hes a defensive end, his jobs is to line up and any flickler of offensive movement, shoot your gap - its pretty basic. Part of this is because I really hate the idea of watching Kelsay loop 5 yards around the pocket on everyplay again.

Maybe when Kelsey gets cut?....seriously though i agree with you. I also think Nic Harris should be starting over Ellison. Maybe when the cuts come out we can see things clearer?

  2. why would you assume they will put in a new offense?

I didnt i merely asked if we would, or is AVP just gonna run Turks offense? same players, same system just a new scapegoat....I can hear DJ's excuses now......" Well Alex is a new coach, and it took a while to get the bugs out, however by next year we should have the 3-4 defense figured out"

  3. I’ll admit up front that I have been one of the more negative posters on the board for the last few weeks. With that said I would like to try to put up a “where is the silver lining” post. Seriously, we have had four weeks of preseason to get a glimpse of what we might see in the regular season. What are the positives? The following are my thoughts:

    • Our defense has actually looked promising at times. Recall that last year they took a big step forward in rankings. They have generated some pass rush and a few turnovers.
    • Maybin gave us a sneak peek on Saturday – he appears to be the real deal if one can judge such things based on one meaningless game.
    • TO is waiting in the wings. If we are lucky he will provide some lift to the offense.
    • Wood appears to be the real deal.
    • Harris may be the surprise of the offseason. Maybe he’ll be a starter come week one.
    • Bobby April continues to impress.

Not sure what else to say. I am really trying to keep it upbeat.

I also really love the white throwbacks.......uhm.....and next years draft should be fun........uhm......Go Bills?

  4. I'm glad. There seems to be some tension in the air between Edwards and Jauron. Both of them this week have made uncharacteristic comments regarding some sort of discontent for one another after the Packers game. Edwards subtly hinted that the coaching staff hasn't been preparing properly against 3-4 defenses and Jauron basically said that Edwards has been a Puss.

I'd rather have this happen now than during the season, and it is time that they both make each other feel not so comfortable with where they are and that they hold each other and themselves accountable for their actions.

I take this as a positive.

I have to say i have Trents back on this, Jauron sucks as a coach, the offensive coaches have no clue how to counter a 3-4 defense, and until they let Trent call his own plays at the line i think it will continue. I dont feel Trent is a puss either i just think he was keeping his cool and not calling out his coaches, but after 3 years he realizes, he has no help. So for him to get fired up and call out his coach i think he is assuming more of a leadership role on this team which is great. He got T.O. here, now get Dick out!

  5. At 6-3, 254 Lbs, TE Jonathan Stupar is making his presence felt on the football field.

Nephew of former NFL QB Jeff Hostetler, Jonathan Stupar attended State College Area high School where he set a School record his senior year with 45 receptions for 515 yards along with compiling 75 tackles on defense. Stupar also played on the basketball team and made honor role while in attendance. Jonathan Stupar continued on through College playing Tight End for the Virginia Cavaliers where he recorded 80 receptions for 803 yards and 3 TD's. In his final year with the Cavaliers Stupar was coming on strong, finishing the year out with 40 receptions for 359 yards and 2 TD's.

When you watch Jonathan Stupar play its easy to see the man plays with allot of heart and he loves the game of football. Stupar has good hands, he's fearless going across the middle and he blocks well. What most folks don't know is Jonathan's love for football also turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Jonathan Stupar was brought in as an undrafted free agent by the New England Patriots at the beginning of the 08 season where a broken foot led to a mended heart for Jonathan Stupar. Ultimately, it may have saved the 23-year-old’s life. During rehab Doctors found that Stupar was suffering from Wolfe Parkinson White Syndrome, a heart condition that can prove fatal.

“It’s a heart abnormality,” said Stupar. “I had an extra electrical circuit in the heart and it’s something they can only catch really on an EKG. So a broken foot suffered while practicing on the football field in essence may have saved his life.

Now Jonatahn Stupar has his heart set on playing football in the NFL. I really hope the young man gets a chance to full fill his dream by earning a spot on the roster with the Buffalo Bills.

I can hear Boomer now ( a song by the kinks )"Jonathan wish i could fly like Stuparman"......

  6. Ok after careful thought, i finally decided on another jersey(s) but it turned into ordering 2 more a white Edwards throwback, and blue home Poz jersey. so thats a total of 3 jerseys with sewn on numbers, letters for a total of $136.80 with free shipping. On NFLshop.com they are about $287.00 a piece. So im very happy with my purchases.

  7. Per Jauron's PC and the 97 Rock postgame, DFlo's was more serious. Carucci said Scott didn't appear to be limping as he came off the field. Oh, and Travis McCall also sustained a knee sprain.

(Of course, none of that takes the place of the actual medical reports ...)

Thanks Lori, I hate to say it but id rather lose DFLO, then Scott at safety, it looks like we have good depth at CB.
