This is why the NFL should have a rookie slotted salary. Give these guys a standard contract based on where they are picked. Why should a player who has never taken a snap in the NFL get paid like an All-Pro? Earn your next salary by showing up, playing good, then cash in. But the NFL and MLB are lacking in this area. And it would also end rookie holdouts, but i have a feeling that wont happen until the next CBA. If at all.

No someone needs to show him the door. Harris and Palmer played better IMO, Ellison is better suited to be a backup, and special teams player. But Dicky has some obsession with him. I would love to see one of those guys beat him out of the starting lineup.

I think it would be great for closer division rivalries. However with living by Miami i enjoy going to the annual Bills game. And i would hate to lose that rivalry. But can you imagine the road trips to nearby Cleveland and Pitts, for Bills nation?...those games would great..and it would be sweet to lose the Patriots in our division.

How confident are you in our two starting corners? McGee coming off an injury, and a rather disappointing year IMO.,And McKelvin, still learning and quite raw, but with great potential? I actually see McKelvin having a higher ceiling then lets say Nate "show me the money" Clements. I really like the corners and depending on who wins the nickle spot, i also like our depth. With corners like these its easy to forget the Ken Irvins, and Chris Watsons ( awful, just awful ). I also think practicing against Lee, and Terrell will help these young men tremendously. Lets assume some of the bad play at corner last year was due to our inept pass rush. And a good pass rush should help our secondary. And in theory our defense as a whole. Hopefully we have 25 weeks to critique their play.

The guy had 2 good years on a very bad team, hopefully he will not return to his previous best while playing for the Pats. He is injury prone only playing a full season twice...does anyone know what the Pats gave up for him?

I agree with Phil very underrated because he didnt have the numbers Bruce did, however, he was a man whose teammates loved to play with, he did his job, never bitched, and was always a true professional. We need guys like him in the NFL today!

Theres a place on Sanibel Island where the owners are from Buffalo, they have Webers, Sahlens, etc, and Chris Berman is known to frequent there ( he has a house on Sanibel ), Its called Schnappers, closest you can get to Teds without being in Buffalo, minus the secret sauce.
