The offense showed exactly what they did in preseason

Does anyone else see the same thing? This team loses a heartbreaker, beats a team they should beat and then fails (on offense) to play a good game against a good team. The defense played a great game. On the other hand there is the offense, which is simply offensive. This is the same pattern we have seen for years in Buffalo.

I know the "glass is half full" crowd will say "young line" or Trent is learning. Problem is that as fans we have been through nine years of this. Rex Ryan is showing what good coaching and a good scheme can do. The Bills are a sad reflection of their inept coach.

The best thing to come from this game is that it marks the beginning of the end of the Dick Jaron era.

This was our "Vanilla" game plan, you know the same 1 we ran in the preseason. Its the "play not to lose plan" (and lose anyways 9 out of 10 games). :censored:

During the pre-season(s), some folks liked to praise the plain vanilla calls, so as to hide things from foes until the regular season begins. Others wanted to see the team try out things, to tune up for the regular season.

Wash, rinse, repeat...

My guess is that they had "a good week of practice." The bottom line in this mess is that Trent Edwards can't carry the team. He will not, or can't, throw a good deep ball. He has regressed as it comes to making decisions aout what to do with the ball. Sad situation as the offense has been putrid for years and we see no change even with all of the "weapons" they supposedly have.

I thought the beginning of the end of the Jauron era was after we blew the Dallas Monday Night Football game in 2007.

C'mon, the Bills played that game with a rookie QB, and as we all know, you can't beat good teams with a rookie QB in the NFL. :censored:

The rookie QB of that game was a confident young man, the QB that played today was a JP Losman clone, only one with a pop gun arm to go with his major indecisiveness. The Defense kept us in the game, and JP Edwards made sure that was an all for naught effort.

The same weak O-line play that was exposed during the preseason was clearly evident again today.

Credit Jabari Greer and the Saints defense for shutting the Buffalo Bills offense down.

It's a QB league and we haven't had a good one in a decade

If only he was more like JP losman. No, he's Kelly Holcomb.
