If a male teacher takes advantage of a 12 year old girl, he's considered lower than the scum of the earth and is a social pariah/pervert (as he should be). When it's a female teacher taking advantage of a 12 year old boy, she gets to host Hot for Teacher night, and major media outlets print puff pieces about her.
