Maybin on First Take

Recommended Posts

Not to totally wee wee on your Lucky Charms ®, but we said the same thing last year about Hardy.

WR's usually take longer to develop then defensive linemen, hardy's gonna be a beast " eventually". and maybin is definetly gonna make an instant contribution...

well said...a lot of people said Moulds was a bust after his 1st 2 seasons, too...while it would've been great to see Hardy perform like DeSean Jackson and Eddie Royal, it'd be stupid to expect it and even more so to think a guy's a bust after 1 season

Seems like both an intelligent and decent guy, particularly considering he just turned 21 in April. More importantly, did you see the speed he flashed in those clips, especially where he ran the Wisconsin QB down fall the way across the field from the back side and just running by the OT? Incredible. If he really has jets like that in the bigs, we may have a reall Playa here......

it is really amazing how a DE can run with the same speed as a defensive back or LB

but I guess that's what you get when Maybin played at 225 lb

Fewell will have to specifically scheme to exploit whatever speed Maybin maintains at a higher weight - while hiding him from getting pancaked on running plays
