Oddly, they seem drawn to Johnny Depp types. In or out of pirate uniform. Can't understand it, myself. Yesterday, at a Super Bowl party at 8:30 AM in Roppongi, I was wearing my old Takeo Spikes Bills jersey, and strangely, hordes of teenage Japanese girls in high school outfits did NOT cascade over me in waves. Not that the Onion is not a completely reliable, source, though. I think it's just that I'm in the wrong location here. Probably it's one little town where all these youngsters live.
