What getting Gonzales would do for the Bills today, is what getting James Lofton did in 1989. No longer could the safety come up and wait for Reed over the middle once Kelly started to burn them deep. In the end they could not make up their minds who to cover.

With Tony Gonzales and Lee Evans it creates the same problems. Tony could be our Lofton of 2008. A hall of famer who while at the end of his career, could move this team to where Lofton help take the Bills into the 1990s and the Super Bowl. Having a veteran like James helped that team grow up fast.

If there is a ligit deal out there for him that doesn't break the draft bank, the Bills MUST make this move.
