Subject: Bills-Rams game

Hi Gang !

As you already know, the Bills will be coming to Saint Louis to play the Rams this year. The game is scheduled for Sunday Sept. 28th at 3:05 pm. We have received many e-mails and phone calls regarding our possible attendance as a group. There is not a significant cost saving and seating availability is limited. On the attachment, you will find the seating options and the relative cost. The least expensive seats are in the last rows of the stadium. If we decide to go as a group, the middle priced seats would be $47 each, after a $3 discount. Those seats are a little closer, and there appears to have the additional worth. We would appreciate it if you would let me know by return e-mail, what your feelings are about this opportunity to sit together and root for the Bills. We have had some discussions about going to the stadium via a bus versus trying to find the individual parking spots for our own vehicles. The Rams do not have ideal parking arrangements. Whatever decisions we make, we'll have to have ticket requests accompanied by payment. I'll be glad to visit on the phone with anyone who has any questions.

Let's hear from you, please.

Any tailgating before the game on Sept 28th? I have 60 Bills fans staying at the Hampton downtown.

I'll be in town w/ my wife and another couple. We're staying at the casino hotel down by the Arch (across the street from the Dome). Bought great tickets from a Rams season ticket holder (30 yard line, row LL, lower level).

Only downside is that the guy I'm traveling with is a Rams fan, but that won't stop the missus and me from showing our colors and giving our vocal support. If there's any sort of tailgate near the stadium on Sunday, we'll likely stop by.

Sounds like there might be a lot of Bills fans at this game.

I've never been to St Louis but the hotel we are staying at boasts an Irish Pub called Tigin. Hampton Inn at the Arch. Maybe someone local can check it out and suggest we meet ther befor the game.

Is there a place in which to watch the Bills Pre-season games in the St. Louis area? I just moved to Metro East and need a fix!

For all you out of towners coming to The Lou this weekend, Bills Backers of St. Louis will be holding a pre-game tailgate in west county with 15 vans heading downtown to the game aftewards. Tailgate $7/person, includes burgers, dogs, chips, etc... Roundtrip van is $16 per person. Probably not convenient for most of you staying downtown though.

Tailgating down at the stadium is horrible. There's no huge parking lot like at the Ralph. Washington Ave is a good spot down by the stadium. It's the Chippewa Street of St. Louis. The Marriott by Busch Stadium also is always packed for sporting events. Also see the BILL-RAMS roll coll linked in post #7

Should be a fabulous weekend. GO BILLS!
