Simon Posted November 8, 2006 Share Posted November 8, 2006 Over the years I've continually returned to the belief that democracy is a fatally flawed political system that is ultimately doomed to failure. Now we have the most self-interested, dishonest, reprehensible, corrupt administration of my lifetime juxtaposed with an agitated House that has been shut-out for a long time and is now being led by a self-serving whack-job like Pelosi. This has potentially created a situation where complete and total mayhem is as upwardly mobile as it has been in years. I've always hoped I'd live long enough to see this joke of a governing body collapse on itself and last night was another step in the right direction.
