The problem with the short passing game offense

You are relying on your offense to be able to complete 10-15 play drives. With the OL not a heck of a lot better, you need a QB who can buy himself a little time by moving around or being able to turn a 3 and 2 into a first down by running for it. DB can do neither of these and we will continue to struggle on offense because of it.

I think the issue is a failure of understanding the terminology.

By "short" passing game, Drew incorrectly thought the coaches were referring to the midget kids he worked out with in the off-season- as evidenced by his tendency to throw the ball at everyone's ankles on outlet passes this season.

Once this misunderstanding is cleared up, Drew will return to his Hall of Fame form.
