Tux of Borg
We committed to smash mouth football and we let Sam Gash go. This guy could block and Sam Adams could follow him through a hole.

Spiderweb
Sam Gash is currently out of the league because of a possible career-ending back injury. 37676[/snapback] Sam had his day and looked finished to me last year. What little I saw of Lawton in the preseason, was far more than what this turd Shelton has shown so far. No blocks of note, doesn't catch the ball or run with it well. Looks a bit clumsy. Where's the "speed" he was supposed to have for a blocking back?
Horus
I agree..I really like Lawton...another ? (even if he did ok today, didnt get to see every play) why is cambell in as a starting TE...is he really our best TE?
Hammered a Lot
Sam Gash is currently out of the league because of a possible career-ending back injury. I heard Sam say on WGR a couple of weeks ago he is finished because of KNEE problems. When he works out it swells up. Enough is enough.

He's a substantially improved blocker and can contribute in the passing game- you might recall his first down grab yesterday carrying three defenders the final 2.5 yards.
