You may have to clear your cookies to see my new avatar, but its my idea for a new helmet.

If you dont like it, Im gonna tell you you're all losers, and pout for the rest of the day.

I know its unusual, but I like it!

It has nothing to do with "cookies" - cookies allow you to log in

It has to do with "cache" - the browser generally does not reload images it has seen before so you need to clear you cache so you do can see the new image.

Instructions for clearing cache in Netscape:

Your computer stores copies of frequently accessed pages in the disk cache. This way, the computer doesn't have to retrieve the page from the network each time you view it.

To set the size of the cache or to clear it (Windows and Unix only):

1. Open the Edit menu and click Preferences.

2. Under the Advanced category, click Cache. (If no subcategories are visible, double-click Advanced to expand the list.)

3. Click Clear Cache.

Instructions for clearing cache in Internet Explorer:

Get a new browser

P.S. even after clearing and reloading it, it looks like colored stevestojan

You're right on the cache, but too complicated with the instructions....hold down <shift> and click reset. Works in any browser (shift forces reload of all content on a particular page).
