Beane actually relied on Ed to stay healthy for an entire season, which was a really lousy gamble. He also didnt bring in enough backup talent because we are hamstrung by the cap. Combine this with McD's supposedly complicated defense (why???) and we have ended up here. The fact that Shaq Lawson is back is testament to that. Just ridiculous !

Oliver tied for 1st in the team in TFL only having played 2.5 games with 7 TFL. Also he is tied for 2nd on the team in sacks with 3.   Bernard and Bosa also have 7 TFL, but with 11 game
