Anyone remember Sam Parrilla?

I know there are some pretty big baseball fans here.

 

Ngl I only discovered him because his daughter Lana Parrilla is really hot.  And in my typical nerdy ways reading about her I read about her father.

Only played in the big leagues one year but was shot and killed by a 15 year old in Brooklyn in 1994.  That sounds really horrible.

 

I suppose I could have started an athletes that died way too young thread but that would seem very depressing.

I remember him as a Rochester Red Wing in the early 70s.  Those Red Wing teams he was on were pretty loaded.
