Sound_n_Fury
The question about Roscoe in my mind is, do the Bills need a 3rd down slot WR/punt returner more than they do an OT/OC or DT? We have huge holes to fill at OLT and DT due to FA losses and the possibility this might be Sam Adams last year. Specialty players are a nice luxury, but championships are won in the trenches, IMO. I can't see Roscoe ever being more than a slot receiver, which limits the number of opportunities he'll have to touch the ball, especially if we're going to have a "smash mouth" run-oriented offense. I've come back "off the ledge" a bit since the pick, but the onus is really on TD & TM with this selection. We need some O-line help with our next pick, IMO. ndirish1978
I posted the same question in like 3 threads. The onyl thing i can tihnk of is that we're gonna run a MUCH more open offense this year and use parish like the Steelers used Randle El.

Stretch the field, open things up for Moulds and Evans (the way Beebe did for Reed and Lofton), and provide a three-wide attack that takes the pressure off McGahee (the way those guys did for Thurman). Just a thought.

I seem to remember the Bills having success at one time running the ball in a 3 WR formation.

WM seems more like a power back than Thurman ever was, so I'd rather have 5 massive wide-bodies blocking for him than run a lot of 3-WR sets (especially if the slot WR is a smurf who'll never provide any down field blocking). If that's what our offense is going to look like, then this pick may make some sense...
