I was watching the the last play of the jets/ pats game, the NE rusher did or attempted to hit Sanchez below the knees, causing him to fall back and get hit again, and fumble causing the game to end. I thought the Qb could not be hit below the knees. Why didn't call they a roughing the passer on the pats. Or does that rule only apply to Brady?
