ajzepp Posted July 9, 2012 Share Posted July 9, 2012 Amazing... This video reminds me of a time when I was sitting on the beach at night during my trip to Hawaii in 1987. I was 15 years old and I remember being completely and totally in awe of the immensity of the ocean. I looked off into the horizon on a really clear, beautiful night and realized just how incredibly minute I was compared to the size of the Pacific. I thought about just how far it was from my little spot on the beach allllll the way across to the next beach. Seeing the oceans from the ISS just reminds me of that feeling...pretty intense.
