Tipster19 Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I appreciate it, it's been a rough year for me and I haven't been following the Bills like I should have. The last I knew we were trying to convert to a 3-4 but now I've been reading lately that we're going a 4-3 defense. Is that accurate? Thanks.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Wow were have you been! Chan Gailey confirms Bills switching to 4-3 defense Posted by Josh Alper on January 31, 2012, 9:04 AM EST When the Bills promoted Dave Wannstedt to defensive coordinator, it was expected that they would go to a 4-3 look next season. Head coach Chan Gailey confirmed that move on Monday, although it shouldn’t be too difficult a switch for the team to make. They played a lot of four-man fronts in the second half of the 2011 season and they never had ideal personnel to play a 3-4 look after making the switch to it a couple of years ago. Gailey was quick to caution that 4-3 is only going to be the base defense, though. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/01/31/chan-gailey-confirms-bills-switching-to-4-3-defense/
