I saw him standing a lot holding down the edge, not rushing the passer at all. If you watch the replay, you will know what i'm talking about. The key to this game going in was to get contain on the outside and force Charles to cut it back up the middle. So it wouldn't shock me if that was Merriman's focus. Also, he was playing with one arm for much of the game after having his shoulder taped, which seemed to be affecting his passrushing ability.
