I would go farther and say that it almost sounds like a desperate cry for help… Matt Roth would be a better option at a better price. I said that when Roth was waived late in the 2009 season. Some said we were a 4-3 team and he wouldn't fit. As I've always said, get good football players, then worry about how they fit together. Good players + good coaching = good team. Scheme suitability is overrated, IMO. So yeah, Babin is intriguing in our hybrid scheme but he's a bit old as far as how the team curve and his career curve match up, IMO.
