jamestown-cuse
Shouldn't a defensive leader be someone who leads by example not only off the field but on the field as well? Guys like Ray L, Troy P, and Bart S... We get Chris K. Should our coaching staff be empowering guys like that to lead our team?

We simply don't have a player the caliber of those that you mentioned.

Fixxxer
For better or worse I think Whitner is one of the leaders of the defense. Kelsay is the guy other players follow in the weight room but unfortunately he can't translate all the hard work into production on Sundays. We need a guy like Talley, badly, someone that can rally his defense after a postive play. Edited October 8, 2010 by Luisma
