In the spirit of my young sons multiple choice tests in school ...

Which of the following doesn't belong:

A) Buffalo Bills Tailgate

B) Mass quantities of Beer

C) Mass quantities of bowling ball shots (OK, maybe not this week)

D) Drunken fools everywhere

E) Propane torch

ummmm, C ?? maybe you should ask Spagnola.

and thanks, now I know what to make this weekend!

and Matty T, gonna try your recipe. I'll thank you now, as I may be too buzzed to remember to thank you later. (got a dd!) :D

I am making pulled pork for the game on Sunday. We are leaving Rochester at 8AM and will probably eat around 11Am. Any thoughts on keeping it warm and or heating it at the game that would not require me to bring a grill.

You already have everything you need, except a copy of 'Manifold Destiny' - since you probably can't get one by Sunday, The Senator will help you...

You can preview here -

Google Books - Manifold Destiny

If that looks useful, you can obtain the 'Kindle' version here -

Manifold Destiny - Kindle Version (Amazon)

And you can download free software to read any 'Kindle' books on your PC -

Kindle for PC

That's really 'the bible' for cooking on your engine, but if you don't want to go thru all the downloading stuff, you might find some ideas here -

Manifold-ish destiny i.e. cooking in your car

or here -

Cooking an Environmentally Friendly Meal on Your Car Engine

Good luck, and...

GO BILLSSS!!!!

Cheers

I have a Kindle so consider it done

Also, make this sauce a day or two in advance. You can thank me after the tailgate. :P

1 quart cider vinegar

12 oz Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce

1/3 cup packed brown sugar

1 T red pepper flakes

2 T salt

1 tsp black pepper

2 T Worchestershire sauce

Juice of one lemon

1 T chipotle powder

1 tsp dry mustard

1 T onion powder

Bring to the boil, then simmer for 10-15 minutes. Let cool, and bottle.

I am going to try this Matty - but I might try Uncle Ralph's (which I could drink out of a glass) instead of Sweet Baby Rays (which I also like).
