I'd forgotten that the last Bills-Redskins game was played in the wake of the Sean Taylor murder…the man Greg(g) Williams called "the best football player I've ever coached by far." That was a screwy game as the Greg(g)ster had the defense take the field with no one at Taylor's position on the opening play (I think the Bills gouged them for a nice chunk of yardage…11 yards?) and after the game, Joe Gibbs admitted that Williams had not run the idea by him. Later when Gibbs stepped down at season's end, the Redskins and Snyder interviewed Williams an absurd number of times before not offering him the job. And then that screwy two timeouts attempt by Gibbs which put Lindell in "can't miss territory" was the topper. One of the more bizarre games the Bills have played in.
