Round Pick Team Selection Psn School

1 1 St Louis Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma

1 2 Detroit Ndamukong Suh DT43 Nebraska

1 3 T Bay Gerald McCoy DT43 Oklahoma

1 4 Washing Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State

1 5 KanCity Bryan Bulaga OT Iowa

1 6 Seattle Jimmy Clausen QB Notre Dame

1 7 Cleve Eric Berry FS Tennessee

1 8 Oakland Bruce Campbell OT Maryland

1 9 Buffalo ??????

It was a perfect storm. Both quarterback, both DT's, and the top 3 OT'sand Eric Berry went off the board

before the Bills' #9 pick in the first round.

Your goals for this draft --and likely next year--are numerous:

Move to a 3-4 on defense, get a nose tackle, get a OLB and a DE, get to their quarterback, look at franchise QB,

and get your QB a feature WR if he isn't on the team already.

You're on the clock. And Bills Nation, bricks in hand, awaits your pick.

You may select up to 3 players from the multiple choices. I will resimulate the draft using the player or trade with the highest number of votes using DraftTek's ODS .

Have Fun!

The 2 guys left for O/D linemen don't measure up this early. CJ Spiller, if this is all I have to choose from. Where are the QBs?

McShay is right; there are 2 QB's that are first round material and none that are 2nd round material.

Trade Down to Houston's 20, get their 51, 115

this draft is deep, get most pick you can plus not sold on Trent as a LT.

Me neither. I wouldn't be angry if they picked him, but there's just something about

"Williams at Tackle" that makes me wonder!

My collected info on Trent Williams. I'm feeling better now.

--three-year starter for the Sooners.

--#10 on CBSSports BigBoard now

--second-fastest 40 among all offensive linemen (4.88)

--the top vertical jump

--third-longest broad jump

--Fires off the line and dominates when drive blocking

--Turns his man whichever way is needed and sustains the block.

--Nice lateral movement

--2009: 885 plays and 102 knockdown blocks; 2008: 131 knockdowns, with 18 knockdowns in BCS title game vs Florida

--2009: Oklahoma attempted 476 passes, became the highest-scoring team in the modern era (702 points).

--Williams was the only returning lineman this year but was still named All-American (with Okung)

--Patient; gets comfortable in stance

--Light on his feet

--Great balance

--Wasn't asked to pull or trap, but is mobile enough to be effective sealing off the MIKE linebacker

--Good burst off the snap to run block, and latches onto his man immediately.

--Reaches linebackers and safeties at the second level quickly off the snap.

--Gets hands into the jersey and moves his feet to drive the man back.

--Sets quickly after his kick slide on both the left and right side

--Will be more consistent protecting on the right side

--Instinctive; counters moves well

--Nice stunt/blitz awareness

--Effective hand punch

--Shows ability to handle elite speed off edge

--Looks for secondary targets to block downfield when needed.

--Unselfish player who works hard on the field and in practice.

--Plays through minor injuries.

--Returned to school despite being a probable second-round pick in order to return to the BCS championship and complete his education.

--NFL Comparison: Jammal Brown, New Orleans Saints

There's no way Pete Carroll throws a number 1 at Jimmy Claussen after his move to pick up the great Charlie Whitehurst. How stupid would he look?

Detroit - Okung (Must protect Stafford)

Washington - T. Williams (zone blocker)

KC - Bulaga (Safe oick)

Seattle - Still has need (I think Spiller)

Oakland - Will NOT take Campbell...and still has need. (I think Berry)

Buffalo will probably not get coveted OT in 1st, is either taking Claussen at #9 or scrambling.

We know that preguessing the Lions and Rams is a crapshoot. Heck the whole mock draft thing is a game.

That's what I'm hosting here. A Game.

That said, I disagree that Carooll would ride Charlie Whitehurst over a chance at Bradford / Clausen.

I agree. I think Williams or Davis is a HUGE reach at #9.

I also believe that this trade down scenario has a high probability of happening on draft day.

Read it. What it didn't discuss is why Seattle would go for any QB when they have $10 million/year invested in Hassleback and Whitehurst. You can't invest $4m per year in Whitehurst then immediately pick a guy who will make more without getting anything for you $4m. Logic screams that Seattle is out of the QB business in April. What they need is a replacement for Walter J.

Told you this about three weeks ago glad to see you caught up- the new news is that Trent Williams is going from undervalued to overvalued- Okung and Bulaga are better players regardless of absolute athletic ability - also the finale rating of OTs will not be decided until the end of March when Charles Brown and Davis will work out in front of scouts- Davis needs a good workout to stop his slide to the 2nd round and a great workout to get back in the 10-15 range- Charles Brown can jump all the way to the 2nd OT taken if he can weigh in at 305+ bench 25+ and still look athletic at the higher weight- Brown lacks the position versatility of Bulaga and Williams but being able to play LT at an A-A+ level trumps being able to play across the board at a B-B+ level.
