Interviewing Guy, Modrak, and Nix for the most important job in the organization when 2 of 3 should be fired doesn't accomplish that. 3) Potentially hear what people OUTSIDE of the organization think of the Bills, you know, NEW ideas. But instead named him a scout, then a year later he's GM. Maybe all along thta was the plan but for whatever reason didn't want to initially name him as GM Encouraging. More than likey that was to fill the Ronney rule. How do you know it wan't a serious interview?? If RW thought highly of Guy and really considered giving him the GM position, I doubt he'd instead hire a guy who in his first interview kind of ripped the free agent signings the Bills have made in recent seasons.
