  1. Afraid he'd get a tape of you seducing your chest of drawers?
  2. If I was one of the fathers I would have held out for a free night at Shotgun Willys.
  3. I hope you want a major in international studies, because you'll be matriculating in Iraq.
  4. Let's not rehash the primaries, but I'll just say he was never vetted to the degree he should have been, otherwise Rev Wright and other issues would have come to light sooner. And if the Clintons had brought them up, they would have been labelled as racists (again). The media dropped the ball. That's my last word and I'm stickin' to it.
  5. I'm not bitter, just disappointed. Obama is facing many of the questions now that should have been asked at the beginning of the primaries, but being the fresh face, he got a pass from the press early on. I said from the start he wasn't the agent of change he said he was, and recent policy shifts have made him more mainstream, thus the increased scrutiny. But even so, he's a change from the Bush/McCain policies, which is the change I'm most interested in. I don't care about how the sausage gets made, as long as it gets made to my taste.
  6. So if they were put in solitary confinement for life without the alleged benefits, would that satisfy you? If not, your argument is moot.
  7. The primary purpose of a car is transportation, not to injure. The primary purpose of a gun is to injure.
  8. Apples and oranges. The areas affected in Al and MS were smaller, less urban, and were affected more by the winds than the flooding. New Orleans had a huge number of lower income people without personal transportation and more damage was done due to the flooding after the storm. You're doing a heck of a job, cincy.
  9. That's quite an argument; allowing people to have handguns is worth the sacrifice of all the kids who die from handgun accidents. The NRA should put that on a bumper sticker.
  10. Taking another person's life when they pose no further threat to another person is premeditated and lowers our own standards. The right way is not always the easy way. Pope JPII forgave the man who tried to kill him. I'm not saying I could ever do that, but executing someone isn't going to change the past, and hasn't been proven to be a deterrent.
  11. Great, another distraction to take driver's eyes off the road. How soon before some guy causes an accident because he had one hand on the mouse surfing the web for porn and the other on his crank.
  12. I'm anxious to see how well the interior of the D will play with Stroud and Poz. If we can't improve on our run defense with those guys I'll be very suprised and disappointed.
  13. Baltimore and Washington fans must be rallying to win because they figure it's the only championship they'll come close to winning this season.
  14. If we sink to the level of the attacker and seek revenge, then we lower ourselves to their level of brutality. Lock them up and let God decide when it's their time to die.
  15. I wonder how the 9th player feels being left out. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/...20yrs-jail.html A teacher has been accused of having sex with eight members of a school baseball team. Julie Pritchett began a relationship with a 15-year-old boy in February. The 34-year-old married teacher later approached other members of the team for sex. The incidents allegedly took place both on school premises and at the boys' homes while their parents were out. She was discovered when one of the 15-year-old boys at the school, in the town of Trussville, Alabama, told his parents. They alerted the police.
  16. He's probably in Washington lobbying the Congress to allow oil drilling in his backyard.
  17. I should have mentioned that I was also assuming they would be given life in prison with no possiblity of parole as opposed to the death penalty.
  18. I don't support the death penalty but would support castration for such a case.
  19. McCain doesn't like Romney, and unfortunately for Romney the recent Mormon sect underage marriage problem might make it tough for evangelicals to support him if they generalize about his faith.
  20. I'd be interested, I run a league myself and play in 3 total. Is there any fee or is it a free league? Are the rules posted anywhere?
  21. If you're into it, Legoland is an amusement park north of San Diego that has amazing dioramas of cities and national landmarks. Great place to take the kids.
  22. Driving to Cape May, the southernmost town in New Jersey on the Atlantic Ocean for a week of lying on the beach.
  23. You know there's going to be alot of jokes already about the convention being in Minnesota, the infamous site of the Larry Craig wide stance.
  24. I'm not sure about Christ, there's some rumors floating around about him that I won't repeat, but let's just say it wouldn't make him a favorite of Republicans.
  25. Gadaffi, there's a reliable source of intelligence. He'd say anything to get back in U.S. good graces after blowing up Pan Am 103.
