I'll tell you what it means... it means Buddy covets newton so bad and the thought of Carolina taking him is making him wish he was drafting 1
Really think Carolina will take a QB with thier first pick two straight years? I just dont see it. Has that ever happened?
-
I agree, even maybe a corner at 3 and then take a D-lineman at 34 and in FA. I think we have a ton of choices and the 3rd best lineman would be a mistake at 3.

We are having Taco Salad as the main course, velveeta, chili and guac dip, homemade cheese fries and a blooming fing onion. This is just for me and kids....
-
good one. nothing like a killer anus joke.
read the post above yours idiot.
You sound like you have had that type of injury yourself...
-
LOL....
If Brees can go 6 weeks, then Cuntler could go 2 Qtrs. Maybe he hurt his anus the night before and it flaired up on him.

98.6 rating this year, 10 tds, 3 picks, had the titans off to a great start. overall winning record as a qb, has gotten the titans into the playoffs before.
id rather go 10-6 with stupid, athletic qb and laugh at his sat scores,
then go 4-12 with a guy that looks cool because he has a beard, wears a wedding ring when he plays, and is admired by broadcasters and internet posters because he went to harvard.
vince young, cj spiller, roscoe parish, steve johnson? are you kidding me? that offense would be fun to watch, fun to read about in the police blotter, and fun to hear chris collinsworth and dan patrick talking about a saturday one year from now as we get ready to travel to oakland for the first game of wild card weekend.
or hey, theres always the alternative,
we could win 5 games next year and have a rousing discourse on how were going to trade up to get luck.
YES!! And how much fun would it be watching old coot Bud Adams throw up in his mouth in disgust if we had VY and started winning!!!

jon fox will be a head coach hes a big name. and has been coming up for the dallas job.
I dunno, J. Jones had a big woody on Garret a few years back and half year isnt long enough to know if he could be a good HC. Jones may be from Texas (and ugly) but he isnt that stupid.
-
How about J. Fox as head of the Defense next year? He usually seemed to have good defenses even before HC. I doubt he can jump right back to a head job. Does he have any connections to Gailey? Is Edwards a shoe in for next year? They did improve somewhat...Whatever that means!

The Bills have been in a re build mode since when? TOO DAMN LONG !!!!
So, why dont we build around Fitz as out #1 QB ? Why would we want a new QB out of the draft? If they did who would they bench? the team would be set much further back with a draft QB, which there is never a quarentee that he would be able to step up into the NFL. The draft focus should be set around getting the players that they could build upon on defense and offense.
I agree Fitz is holding his own, we shoud go with the best player out there. We have options!
-
How ironic is it if we get Luck for a QB and we have had so little over the years.
-
PTR said it right - "As for wearing your gear, you'll be fine as long as you don't act like a douche." Cant believe someone advised not to wear your gear....
Let us know how it was, though I hope everything for you was great except for the game!
-
Apparently some have forgotten about back to back 2-14 seasons in the early/mid 80's when SNL in spoofing the Super Bowl shuffle did the Bills and called in "Yeah, we're the Bills, and what are you looking at?

Hey - was that Steve Christie?
-
At least someone is drinking the kool-aid.
-
I thought Stupar should have made the roster last year... but Dick is an idiot
I agree... on both fronts!!!!
-
Yeah, because thats what we did right? Geezus, this isnt Madden, you cant trade players to teams who dont want to trade you for them. What is so complicated for you and the other posters with their panties in a wad over this to understand? There was no market for a guy who isnt sure he wants to play, PUBLICY stated he lost a step and cant do the things he used to, PUBLICLY stated he doesnt practice hard or train hard, and makes $8 million a year...oh, and theres that little pesky thing where he wants to fly home after each game and not come back to the team he would be playing for until Wed...
Read this if you want more insight to why you are crying about nothing...the Bills not only did the right thing for him, but did the right thing for the team.
Right on! If he signed w/Jets or Miami or Pats, I'd be upset. But Sch wont and so I deal with it. Its right cause he'll make it right! Or we'll burn his lawn like Leodis. Maybin needs his shot too!
Go Bills!
-
If C.J. Spiller is as good as most people say he is, then a hold out - even as long as Maybins' last year, won't make any difference as far as him being a "factor" this season. Maybin was an undersized pass rusher coming off one good season and he needed every rep he missed - not to mention 30 more pounds on his frame he didn't have. (The new strength and conditioning coaches have helped him beef up better for this season, and he still can't beat out a journeyman OLB recently cut by the Dolphins for the first team. Maybin will be a project again this year, but he is still young, so there is no reason to give up on him yet!)
Spiller, on the other hand, is a lightning fast running back who can catch passes out of the back field. He is not being counted on as the every down starting RB to begin with, so all he has to do is keep himself in top condition, study his play book, and be ready to go once he gets to camp. And unlike Crabtree, he also does not need to learn how to run precise pass patterns and find seperation as a full time WR. He pretty much knows how to catch punts and kick offs and run in the direction the play calls for. For once, a first round pick can go ahead and hold out for a while, with no serious consequences for him or the team, in my humble opinion.
Amen bro!!@!

And we call Ralph cheap
LOL Thanks for this post, I just got mine to $39.99 with another $20 off this month and Starz for 3 months, Starz will auto cancel after promo period. I wish I would checked the tread today I see more of the $29.99 month deals. Oh well, I will take it.
-
You're right. We should have a big spender like Dan Snyder for an owner.
After all, look at how successful the Redskins have been.
Ralph is that u?
-
I will stick with our current draft - Spiller is gonna light up the boards boys!
-
Sounds good to me, pass another cup of kool-aide Buddy! The Jets didnt get to the Championship game throwing the ball. I would say only the Colts dont run well and if you have possibly the best QB EVER you dont really need much of a run game.
-
Sweet video !! Great post. Dude is a playmaker.
-
Bills - Live but only because that will last about 5 secs and then its back to Sabres after TVOing through a commercial, one of may favorites comercial though because I love that Refreshment Duo!
-
I actually hope that they do take Morgan the more I think about it. I've read about him not being able to play OLB in a 3-4, but I've also read about him playing both OLB and DE in a 3-4. I like the look of him and the idea of getting a top notch pass rusher to pair with Maybin's potential. A lethal pass rush on defense covers up a lot of other deficiencies on a football team - even on offense.
Amen brother. It worked for the G-Men against Gisele.. (I mean Brady)..
-
so you're favoring that tried and tested Dan Snyder, redskins approach of simply throwing money at the problem. yeah, that's worked.
jw
and that's it for me, see ya later, it's dinner and drinks and maybe not in that order.
Atleast he puts his money where his mouth is and at least looks like he is trying to field a SB team. If you had to bet your house on who would win a SB first would you go with Ralph (say he lives forever) or Snyder?
